I am heading for the world tommorrow morning and nothing like last minute debating but I was wondering if you had to choose only one lens from either the 18-55 or the 50-200 pentax lenses which would it be and why? also taking the 10-17 fisheye as well but dont know if I need to take all three:confused3

I would take all 3. Especially if you plan on going on the AK safari. Otherwise, leave the 55-200 at home. In fact you don't need to lug the 55-200 around except on safari day if you are going on it.

My 2 cents.

I agree... its better to bring all three if you can then to get there and wish you had them all.

I agree with the others. I have that same set up plus the 50mm and there's no way I could leave either the 18-55 or 50-200 home, I'd definitely have regrets. With that said, I just purchased the Tamron 18-250 has my travel lens to replace the 18-55/50-200 combo, very happy with that decision so far.

With that three, I would definitely choose the fisheye and the 18-55mm. I don't think I used my 50-200mm at all inside Disneyland last trip.

IMHO, the most important lenses at Disney are a short zoom (18-55 or 28-70/28-75) and a fast prime (like a 50mm F1.4)... after that, it's up to your personal shooting style. I like the fisheye a lot and don't do so many telephoto shots at Disney; others are the opposite.
