looking for opinions -- CBR or CSR?

Hi-- could anyone give us advice-- we will have three kids at the parks-- 20 months, 5 and 7- and will have a rental car. Which Moderate would you chose and why-- Carribean Beach Resort or Coronado Springs? We will be going the week after Thanksgiving 2008.

We did POR last trip and were looking to try something new.

THANKS for your advice! We are having the hardest time making any decisions this trip-- can't make up our minds!

I prefer CSR! I like the pool, transportation and food options. It's also a newer resort.

I couldn't agree more with the last post! CSR is gorgeous! The pool is fantastic! I would suggest requesting Cabanas 8 or 9 though. That way you will be close to everything (pool, main building, bus stop, restaurants). With little ones, anything but Cabanas may seem too far to haul. If you eat at Pepper Market, which is a fun place, divide and conquer with DH so everyone can eat together. Some say this place is confusing, really it is just different "stations" so everyone can pick and choose what they want. Plus it has the feel of an open air Mexican Market~Disney style!

I have never been to CSR but this resort gets my vote. In fact I made my decision to stay there because of the wonderful feedback I have been reading about!!

I would suggest CBR. The main pool at CBR will be closed until Sept. You can be one of the first in the new pool.

CBR is a beautiful resort. It all comes down to the theming you like best.

Another vote for CBR! We've been to both resorts, and enjoyed CSR but the theming at CBR was just fantastic IMO! We also preferred the CBR food court. I'd say the pools were a draw - but since the CBR pool will be newly refurbed, it'll probably be nicer.

We visited CBR this past June 8-16 and we loved it! If you want a kid's point of view. My 7 yr old DS loves CBR! He wants to go back to CBR. We had lots of fun! I think it is a great resort for all ages but kids especially enjoy it. There are a lot of places to explore.

Another vote for SCR here! I have stayed at both and Caribbean Beach was my least fave ever. Just hated everything about it.

I've never been to CSR, but I vote for CBR. We've been there twice and we love it.

I guess it depends on what kind of theme you like. I like to feel like I'm somewhere tropical when I go on vacation, so that's why I like CBR. If you like a Southwest desert type theme, then go with CSR.

My kids loved the food court,the little beaches, and the pool, and I bet the pool will be even better after the rehab.

I've stayed at both & CSR get's my vote! We loved it there. Pepper Market is great. My boys (10 & 8) loved the pool and playground. I don't think I would go back to CBR.

I love CBR and could spend my whole vacation there, going nowhere else, and not feel cheated. That being said, I think chikdren the ages of yours might be happier at CSR-it just seems more lively and kid-friendly.

I loved returning to CSR because it was serene and peaceful

I also like the fact that CSR has central air - those wall units are noisey and keep me awake. I slept well everynight - great pillow top mattress's!

I count 10 for CSR and 4 for CBR. I vote for CSR making it 11.

I've stayed at both, and prefer CBR-- I really didn't like our time at CSR. Mousekeeping wasn't all that great, it took forever to get our food at Pepper Market (and don't get me started on the tacked-on gratuity... and they once gave my husband raw chicken, and almost refused to give him a new piece!), and I didn't particularly care for the southwest theming. By contrast, CBR is so much more relaxed- I've never felt like I was sharing a hotel with a bunch of conventioneers.
