Looking for OKW refurbishment update

Staying at OKW for 2 weeks from the 20th September.

Does anyone know which buildings are currently being refurbished and if they are likely to be completed by the time we go.

From what I can find online buildings 30-35, 45-47, and 53-56 are done.

Looking to get a refurbished room as close to turtle pond pool as possible.

You might want to ask this on the DVC Resorts thread over in the DVC area. Since this is a DVC only resort, more people there should have the answer to your question. Look for the OKW thread.

We were at OKW the week of 7/15 and stayed in building 34 on Turtle Pond. They had just reopened the Turtle Pond pool. The buildings in that area - 41-44 - were still being renovated and I don’t know how far along they were. The rest of Turtle Pond is completed.

They are doing South Point and Turtle Pond areas first. It's not supposed to be finished until later on in 2019, but they might be done with those two areas by the end of 2018.

Thanks for all the info. Will just request a refurbished room near turtle pond and see what we get.
