I was watching for the magic on twopalms, saw Carnival Pride, but may have missed Magic.

I was up in NY at a taping of Emeril Live so have been away from the boards a bit. Even Emeril can make me think of the Magic - DH and I have really enjoyed the Art of Entertaining series of previous cruises.

Had a discussion with DD at dinner tonight about sign-out priviledges at the Lab. Still not sure where we'll end up on that issue...

DBIL, DSIL, and DN just returned from the 7 day Eastern cruise. They had a wonderful time (of course). But are sad that it is all over. They said the weather was great every day!

We have less than 2 weeks now!!!!!!!!!!

I will be on the magic with my famliy mom, step dad, and little sis (7). THis is my 17th offical cruise... but first as a guest so I am sooooooooooooooooooooooo excited. My family has been on an eastern Carb 9/22/01.

I worked as a programer in the 5/7 program. My little sisters name is Hunter and she and I will be staying in Cabin 2001 (our parnets got us a little room)! I have not been on the ship in over a year so im excited.... hehehehehe

I think that I am ALL SHOPPED OUT! Haircuts are done, clothes at the cleaners......things are finally falling into place. I want to brag about my shopping trip........

A few weeks ago, I bought DD a black dress....it looked fabulous on her. Her dad and I both loved it. It was regularly $180 and it was marked down to $70 with an add'l 50% off. I was feeling pretty proud of myself!!! $180 dress for $35. Well DD wasn't positive she liked it. It had little black beads on it!! So she found another one and we returned the $35 dress. Well on Friday last week, the same store was having a sale and DH and I went shopping. Here was this black dress back on the rack, now marked down to $19.95. I told DH that we just had to get it at that price. She would wear it someday. When I took it to the cash register to ring it up, It rang up at $5.95. $180 dress for $5.95. DH says we can afford to Wash the truck with it if DD refuses to wear it. I was going to wear last years dresses, but, DH surprised me and let me get two new ones. He said he thought about it, and our pictures would have turned out the same!

Wow Patty, what a bargain!!! I hope your DD decides to wear the dress. You are so lucky to only have 4 more days to work. I have 6 more.
Has everyone started packing, or are you done packing? I just can't seem to get started with the packing. And I'm usually not a procrastinator. Well, I know it will be done before next Thursday.

the unfortunate part of my 4 more days, is being at work for 13 hours. I work 12 hour shifts, plus 1 for my lunch. UGH! If I don't get it done today, before I go back to work and the first couple of days next week, it won't get done. Its impossible to take care of anything at 7:00 p.m. Then I have to try to work around DH 24 hour schedules (he is a fireman)

We got the tuxes ordered. The boys will be so HANDSOME!
Checked all of our flights, NO time changes, AND every seat is sold out. ( I told DH maybe I'll let them bump us off of our flight, ) We don't have anywhere to be the first day and a 1/2 anyways.

Well, packing is almost done - just the last minute stuff (I hope!) Still have to pick up the fancy clothes at the cleaners, and new contacts for DH, and get through Halloween!

I am so excited I feel like these pink and green guys!

getting to go to WDW too! I've got to fill out the kids forms for missing 6 days of school! And the clothes are all out that we are taking. But, they haven't gotten any farther than that.

I'll have to leave it up to the rest of you guys next week! We are getting close to the 500 post mark!

dis4me - get off the boards and start that packing! I just have the last minute stuff left - (I think!)

Still haven't gotten any extra work for DS 13 - I asked last monday for it to be sent home early this week so we could make sure we understood it! - nothing yet! I meet with DS 8's teacher tomorrow, since I will miss the regular conf. when we are away, and will pick up his work then.

IT WAS HAILING IN NEW JERSEY! Yes folks that's right - it's October, and it was hailing -- Boy do we need this vacation!

Just can't help myself - that's how I feel -- I was walking around work with a GOOFY (pun intended) smile on my face, and chanting to myself in my head " 3 more days!" - Tomorrow it will be "2 more days!" and the smile will be GOOF-IER!

Are you putting me up to a challenge? 500 posts........!!!??? Where the Heck is BOB? They caught the Sniper....no reason to lay low!!!! You all are leaving early but I think, Us, Bob and gang and Wes and Debbie- I hope they don't dessert me this last week.........I'll be muttering to myself!! Maybe they started the COSMOS a little early!

Anyways.....I can't wait. Mutt thinks he is getting a cold...UGH! It is colder than the dickens out! We may have snow before we leave.

We haven't gotten dds work yet either Even though I asked for it 2 weeks ago.My dd asked the teacher who said she will give it to her Monday.Pretty good when we leave Fri night.
Patty we are putting you up to the challenge.Get 500 before you leave.I know you can do it.
I have never had a cosmo but I can use one now. I can't find my dd bathing suit top. She has others but this is her favorite(insert whine here).
OK OK I am getting off the computer to start, er uh I mean finish packing.
