We are looking for a nice hotel to stay at near Universal/Seaworld on our Honeymoon (if you have more than 1 suggestion that would be great because we will need to stay between $100-200/night), and close to fast food restaurants (we do not want to spend $40 everytime we eat a meal). We currently have reservations at the JW Marriott Buena Vista but were told the only thing close is another hotel... Please Help. Thanks :) Jamie & Jeremy

which one do you want to be near or even walking distance from - SW or US/IOA?

SW - is HGVC (Hilton Grand Vacation Club), Renaissance - both across the street from SW.

there is a MacDonald and a Wendy's down two blocks from the HGVC - problem is this a very, very big block... you would be walking by Discovery Cove. around other block is a Publix grocery store - but walking back this far with groceries would be a pain... HGVC is a timeshare - so you could get an efficiency (studio) or even a 1-bedroom fairly cheap.

why not stay at Royal Pacific? You can usually get a room for under $200.00 there and you will get express for teh rides. If you take a left out of RP's entrabce then a left at the light there is a Wendy's and a few other FF places very close by.

We stayed at the Residence Inn SeaWorld last year. It has a free hot continental bkft, and isnt too far from other places to eat if you have a car. THe room was HUGE, and felt we got a bargain for $100 a night. They even have a Pizza Hut down by the pool.

THe lowest rate I have found for the Royal Pacific is $219/night PLUS tax, so close to $250/night...and that was WITH the FAN club card, ouch!!

Bummer :( Did you ask for an entertainment card rate? Or check the prices at Portofino? For some reason, maybe unpopular I was able to get the lowest rate at PBH before Christmas of all three.
Here is a nice resort:

and what about the Peabody?

I have stayed at the Rosen Center, buy the Peabody and it was a nice place!! But, I still prefer onsite :sunny:
