Looking for new restaurants

Hello fellow disers! I am a new annual pass holder and I would like to try some new restaurants on my upcoming trips. This is by no means my first time dining, (I've used the DDP twice on my stays before) but we always eat at the same place. I'm looking for something different with GREAT food and not too expensive. Also, I don't like anything too fancy like Victoria and Albert's. Some suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I really enjoyed Tusker House lunch last trip, and on the same theme, my mom loves Boma. Neither of us are that adventurous of eaters, so I was a little concerned about the whole African influenced foods, but we ended up really liking both a lot.

BOG for lunch was great and not too expensive. The food wasn't my favorite, but the atmosphere more than made up for it. I don't think I'd go for dinner though, too expensive, and not enough on the menu for this picky eater.

I also love Liberty Tavern, but that can get expensive, but for a southern girl the food is just right.

Either I missed it or you haven't been to Boma. Boma gets my vote for sure!

Those places you listed are almost the exact same places we go every trip! Some others we really like are:

Crystal palace breakfast has Pooh and friends there, made to order omelets and puffed French toast. Very fun and also enjoyable food. Lunch there has same characters and we also like the food. There are usually 2 meats at the carving station, along with many other options. Both meals are buffet.

We like Norway akersus princess lunch. First you go up to a cold buffet and then your meal is ordered from a menu. We've had good meals plus good character interaction.

Liberty tree tavern lunch. Order off a menu. Really good food.

Be our Guest lunch was good food and very cool atmosphere. Have not tried dinner there yet.

Beaches & Cream at BC has some awesome ice cream desserts. It's like a 50's diner -- you can order burgers etc. too.

-Via Napoli: Excellent thin crust wood fired Neapolitan pizza, arancini and calamari appetizers and the Coppa di Bruti Ma Buoni ("Ugly, but Good") amarena cherry sundae.

-Liberty Tree Tavern: Lunch only - Colony Salad and Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake

-Be Our Guest: Lunch - CS with a unique atmosphere.

-Yak & Yeti: Many good entrees.

-Kona Cafe: Our favorite TS breakfast - Pineapple macadamia nut pancakes, the Samoan (Eggs Benedict) and the Big Kahuna (for big eaters or to share.)

-Raglan Road: Great food and service.

Raglan Road has delicious food and wonderful entertainment, highly recommend!

For MK our favorite TS is Plaza Restaurant. I know, not typical, but we find the food to be great there and love the location.

At Epcot we liked Garden Grill. This is a character meal, but the food was great.

At HS our our favorites are Sci Fi Dine In and Mama Melrose. We've had great dining experiences at both and I could go on and on about how good the food is at MM.

TS at AK has got to be Tusker House. If you are using CS that day I would do Yak and Yeti or Flame Tree and use your TS for dinner at DTD.

Thanks for all the great Recommendations! I made a reservation at Boma for my upcoming trip in March. It's just my dad and I going so we're just going for breakfast; I'm really excited about it. I noticed a lot of y'all were raving about Akershus. I had no idea it was that good. I will definitely have to try it out one trip.
