It'll be the official start of our honeymoon
We fly in on the 20th of May, go for the cruise on the 22nd, and on our return the 25th we'll head straight to WDW for our 16 night vacation (Saratoga Springs).

We'll be staying in stateroom 6688, just above Sorcerer Mickey! (stern)

Hi all! We are looking at booking this cruise. It's my 4 year olds birthday on the Castaway Cay day, which I think is the best stop of the cruise! The FE is one of our favorite parts of the Disney cruises. Before we book, I wanted to make sure it's not too late for us to join the FE group. I've done them in the past and can help with organizing. Please let me know.

We are booked on the May 22nd cruise as well. It is our first Disney cruise. It is me, DH! And 15 yo daughter. Hoping there are a few other teens on board. I do have a question. We are staying on property the week prior to the cruise. We will have a rent car. We just enjoy it more than using Disney transportation. Should we drive over to the port? If so, is there a place to leave the car and does anyone know the cost? Thanks!! I will try and join the FE group. Although I don't have a clue what it is! Also has anyone ever rented a cabana? Are they worth the cost?

Here's some info on what the FE is all about. I hope you decide to participate, it's tons of fun! For out first Disney cruise, we decorated a gift bag and hung it outside our door. You can also make fish extenders or purchase custom ones on etsy or eBay.

They have parking at the port, I don't remember the cost. We are driving from the Naples/Fort Myers area so we will be parking there. The cabanas sell out quickly so you might want to check with the cruise line first. Castaway Cay is such a beautiful island and there are many things to do along with plenty of beach chairs under umbrellas, trees or in direct sun. Whichever you choose, you will have a wonderful time. I'm sure the cabanas are amazing, although we have never rented one. Last year my kids were 1 and 3 and I knew there was no way they would stay put long enough to enjoy them.

Join the FB page and post that you are interested in participating in the FE. They have closed 3 groups already due to the size and also so the people can prepare their gifts to exchange. Their are several people that have just joined the group requesting a 4th group to be added. Below is the link to the group.
