I know about cheaptickets.com, lowfares.com and expedia.

Any others I can check into?

The other sites I usually check are travelocity.com and expedia.com. If you aren't fussy about when you travel and on what airline you might want to try hotwire.com. Good luck!

Orbitz.com is a great resource, because it displays so many options at once.

The best idea is to check a big travel web site like Orbitz, and then when you see a flight and fare that you want, go to that airline's web site to try to book it. You'll save the fee that Orbitz charges (though sometimes Orbitz is less even with the fee).

I agree with the previous poster...check the consolidator's sites (travelocity, expedia, qixo, etc...), but then go to each individual airline's sites. That's how I've always gotten the best deals, plus savings on the "processing fees" that third parties often have.

Honestly,IMHO, whenever we travel the issue that is the most pain is airline tix. It simply takes time and knowing your limits (limits = financial, travel times, etc...) I have five words for you...check, check, and check again!

So far, the best rates I have seen are on the Airtran site. We flew with them in February, and was surprised at how everything went. Friendly crew members, nice plane, no delays or screw ups, etc.

We prefer a direct flight (no changes or stops) and so far, looks like Airtran is the lowest at $130 from Baltimore to Orlando, roundtrip.

Delta wants $180.00 (just 2 days ago it was $150.00) and it isn't even a direct flight. There is a change in Atlanta.

I'm still looking though!

I just got two airfares at 333.00 total from BDL to MCO. Unfortunately, one has about a 1 hours stop in Baltimore, but the return is non stop. This was on Southwest's site.

I did grab the $130 roundtrip rate, non-stop from Baltimore to Orlando!

All I need to do now is buy our park hoppers and I'm all set!
