Can anyone out there recommend a good site to buy lanyards? I found one site with a large selection and was at checkout when I noticed a $15.00 shipping charge (cheapest option mind you) for 2 lanyards and 2 lanyards with starter pins!?!? Does this seem a bit unreasonable? To me it did. They must base the shipping cost on the dollar amount of the order which was about $98.00 and not the weight of the actual items which would/should be minimal.

Ebay.......search for DISNEY LANYARD and you'll find plenty (as well as tons of pins.) Most of the sellers that keep them in stock will reduce your per item shipping charges if you buy more than one item, and you can find plenty on a "Buy It Now" basis.

Are the lanyards for pin trading or also for attaching your park/resort IDs? We don't plan on pin trading, so do I need a lanyard?

Thanks!

I searched ebay and did buy two pins but i was hoping to find a "one stop shop" for everything..I'll take another look.

I want to get my family involved in pin trading so yes it would be for that but I also like the idea of the clear pockets for fast passed, KTTW cards ect..

I know you said you were looking for lanyards online, but I thought I'd let you know that I purchased lanyards for kids last December at World of Disney in Disney Marketplace. The lanyards were $5.95 + tax and did NOT have pins on them. The clear pocket (with clip) is sold separately and costs $4.95. We bought a pack of plastic pouches from Walmart for $2.00, we got about twenty puches and were able to clip them to the kids lanyards with plastic clips they already had. The Disney plastic pouches fray pretty easily, with all the pulling out of cards. Remember, you now have to show your room key for each ride during Extra Magic Hours, so that's wear and tear on the plastic. Just thought I'd give you a head's up about what they offer in Disney. Good luck!

Do you remember what section of Walmart you found them in?

Thanks!

I found some for the family on ebay which were reasonable. I found a POTC lanyard on another website with 4 pins for about 34$ but the shipping was $15.00. Is it me or does this seem totally unreasonable? I can't imagine it weights over a pound..I am used to seeing these shipping fees when pricing camera equipment from those NYC retailers but this seems ridiculous

EBAY! I have gotten several there. Amazon my have a few as well.

Good luck!!!

I'm getting our lanyards from an ebay store. I found 2 with a decent selection (2-3 each of Cars, Transformers, Tinkerbell, princesses, Mickey/friends) of lanyards with coin purses attached. The coin purses have a plastic sleeve on the back for tickets, FPs, etc.

One site was $6 each, $3 shipping first item, free shipping each add'l.

Second site was $4 each, $3 shipping first item, $2 each add'l (this still works out cheaper for up to 4 lanyards).

Do a search for Disney lanyard coin or disney lanyard wallet.

Getting my pins from another seller, $1.89 per pin, s/h $2 first pin, $0.20 each add'l. Seems to be a seller of legit pins (not scrappers).

Also purchased a few from another seller who was obviously parting out a collection of old pins. They were still on the cards, so I know they are ok (plus, she's not in the pin business). pd $11.50 (incl shipping) for 4 older star wars pins.

I did manage to find 4 that we liked on Ebay with reasonable shipping fees. I also purchased a lot of 20 assorted pins for about the same price. Thanks for all the input.
