Looking for info on Members dinning package with fireworks viewing.

My family DD (8) and DS (6) & wife already have a reservation booked at the Wave around the same time this event starts, we also planned to head up to TOTWL afterwards. Would it be worth while to sign up for the event or just keep our original plan in place? This would be our 1st visit as members and don't want to have any issues getting into the lounge. Any insight is much appreciated.

There won't be issues getting into the lounge. It is wildly rare that the Lounge is full up aside from holidays, and the dining package has very low volume.

Since you would be coming from dinner, you really don't need to actually go into the lounge (unless you want to buy drinks). We usually just go directly to the deck. You don't need to go into the lounge to access that area. You'll want to watch the fireworks from the deck anyway, because the views from the lounge aren't that great and are usually blocked by people standing on the deck. Deck is a very large area. Enjoy that first visit!

We have TIW, so we just book the Wave with that discount, and then go up to the lounge for the fireworks. We have not ever had a problem, and we have two such evenings planned.
