This is a great way to get noticed!

When we go, we will be celebrating my one year anniversary of a successful kidney transplant. I have a t-shirt for my dd (age 2) that says: My Mom contains recycled parts. Be an organ donor.

OP, I hope you don't mind if I am OT for a minute.

My dad was just diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and is now figuring out what treatment to pursue. What treatment did your DH have? My dad is deciding between surgery or the implant.

My congrats to your DH on his anniversary. You are to be celebrated too as a caregiver.
I am in remission from breast cancer, 2 years now, and I celebrate every day and feel so blessed. The idea of a trip to WDW to celebrate the end of my surgeries--5 in 7 months--was brought up by my husband who said if I was "good" he would take me. It is really part of what got me thru--I am a planner. We will go again in Dec. and celebrate life again.
Whatever you plan will be special just because you are doing it together.
I do love the idea of a Livestrong cake--but I love cake

I just want to thank everyone who posted to my post .

I have re read the posts several times now and it brings me to tears everytime. Your well wishes and prayers mean so much.

Thank you for all your ideas. If you are reading this for the first time, I will take any other ideas. I love the one about the Tshirts..(I am not looking for one to get for all of us) and I think I may do the celebration cruise during Wishes (with the Live Strong cake).
