looking for hotel near universal studios

I know the Hawthorne Suites on Canada Avenue is close. the hotel is clean has a excellent free breakfast.

Fairfield in by Marriott on Canada Avenue gets good reviews on tripadvsior.com And both is close to US/IOA.

We stayed at the Sheraton Studio City and really liked it. Its 1/2 a mile away. We could see the park from our hotel room windows (we were on the top floor).

We stayed at the Doubleree on Major Blvd and its a nice clean hotel although they seemed to raise thier prices to like your staying onsite but if you go to AAA site you can get a standard 2 queen pretty cheap plus its only a 10 minute walk to universal and we are staying there for 2 days in July.
