Hi All, When we leave MCO we like to take 417 to WDW. In the past, we have driven to the resort and checked in, gotten something to eat and then went to Walmart on maybe 535/6(?). This trip we would like to stop on the way to the resort then check in and grab something to eat at the pool and have a nice afternoon. So, long story short, Is there any Grocery store that has liquor off one of the exits on the way to WDW. I don't care if it's Albertson's , Winn Dixie or Publix. Walmart or Target are ok if they booze. We do like to have a cocktail on the balcony. Any additional directions would be great as well. TIA:)

Get off at exit 6 off 417, go to the intersection of 535&536, take a left, there is a WalMart a couple of miles down on the right. They sell beer and wine. If it is just booze that you want take exit 6, turn right onto 535 go one mile and on the left you will see a Walgreens with an attached liquor store. Good prices and a very nice assortment.

Another option is to take the 417 (South) and get off at the John Young Exit heading South on John Young. There is a plaza that has a PUBLIX as well as a liquor store a couple doors down.
The prices on the liquor are lower than the liquor stores closer to Disney.

Exit 11 Orange Blossom Trail has a nice clean Super Target about a block off the toll road. Yes, they do have alcohol.

I was hoping there would be something else. I think the Super Target sounds good. I'm glad to hear they have alcohol and not just wine. Thank you everyone. The Dis rocks!!!!!:woohoo:

Just for the record, when I said Target had alcohol, I meant wine and beer, not liquor. I've never seen a Target, super or otherwise, that sells hard liquor. I usually just bring my own wrapped up in checked luggage.;)

The Target where I live sells hard liquor. I don't know about the ones in Florida, though.

Most Targets, if not all, in FL only sell beer and wine. Of the retailers that do sell hard stuff, like Walgreens, Publix etc. The stores are separate from the main store.

Always packed and lots of traffic. Worst grocery experience we ever had. 535 backs up like crazy. We continue to Exit 3-much better experience and it takes you under the BIG welcome sign.

OP just make sure you have exact change for the exit. You can usually see lots of shopping centers along 417 so just pick one.

Or Google map it.

In general it seems like S535 is more crowded every year we go. It's just a total zoo in both directions from Hotel Plaza Blvd. I now use back roads and alternate routes to avoid S535. We really like heading down S192....lots of restaurants and shopping.
