looking for good dog kennel near Peterborough/Belleville Ontario

We recently acquired a new puppy and she is now 2 months old. That brings our total to 2 dogs. We are looking for a good kennel in the Peterborough/Belleville Ontario area that would take both dogs.

We are flying out of Buffalo so anything to the West would work too.

Do you have any suggestions, we do not want to worry about our furbabies while we are in Disney this May.

I only have one dog but I've been very happy with them so far.

There are in courtice, which is east of Oshawa north of the 401.

I used to take my dog to a kennel in Belleville but I don't anymore.
I don' remember the name but it was north of Belleville.

Hey there.
We live in Port Hope and have 2 dogs that go to a kennel when we got also.
We also fly out of Buffalo.
Our dogs go to Forest View Kennels in Garden Hill which is north of Port Hope about 15 minutes.
We love it there. They family used to breed Goldens and now their daughter breeds dobermans. They are lovely girls that look after the kennel. We like that our 2 dogs can share a double kennel and stay together as we have one nervous nellie and one mr relaxed so it works for us.
It's 27.00 per day for them to stay in a double kennel and they have always been well cared for.
We usually have them bathed before we pick them up also so they smell nice for their return home.
I would definitely reccommend them.

Well, since you also would consider further west - we use Holly's Pride in Burlington. They also have a location in Ancaster but I'm not sure where they are in realtion to a highway. In Burlington, they are about 5 minutes south of the 407 or 10 north of the QEW. They are really great with our dogs and have different packages as well as straight boarding. Anything over 5 days includes a bath.

In the Peterborough, we have had good experience with our dog staying in the following hotels: The Pet Hotel, Peterborough, Four Paws Pet Lodge, Lakefield, Comfort Acres, Keene, English Farm Boarding Kennels in Norwood.

We use Holly's Pride in Ancaster. They are excellent!

Both are about the same distance off the highway, but Ancaster would take you furthor west. You would probably be better off with Burlington to avoid any backtracking.
