Our family of 7 will be traveling to WDW in the middle of October. We will be staying off-site for six nights, and the on-site for four nights. We have seven day Park Hopper passes. The kids are ages 5, 9, and 11. We are coming from the west coast, so I'm thinking it's going to be hard to get up and to the parks very early. With EMH at most of the parks every morning, is it even worth it to try to rope drop anything while we're off-site? I'm looking for advice on when to schedule our FP+ for those off-site days. And just advice in general about how to make the most of the trip when we can't do EMH. I think it's very likely we'll do several hours at one park, take a break, and then go back at night (maybe to a different park).
Thanks!
ETA: Also trying to navigate MK around the Halloween Party. Best to avoid? Or is it typically less crowded on those days? Or more crowded?
