Looking for FE group for Magic sailing 3/17/2016

I am trying to find a group to participate in the Fish Extenders for the 3 day cruise leaving on March 17th, 2016. This is our first Disney Cruise, so I don't really know what to do. We have 3 staterooms all together. I have 2 grandchildren, ages 4 and 5, and my son, age 13 that would love to participate in the FE exchange. Please let me know where to go, or how to get involved. So excited, and just want to experience everything we can.

I will be happy to start a second group for fish extenders on the Disney Magic sailing on March 17, 2016. This will be my family's fourth Disney sailing and our third Disney Magic sailing. We particularly love this ship and our friends we have met on board, like Mary Beth in Mickey's Mainsail and Andre in the dining rooms.

We will take up to 25 cabins in this fish extender group. This group will close once we reach 25 cabins or on March 1, 2016.

I will keep a list of all participants. Please send an email to me privately at cls630@yahoo.com with a subject line FISH EXTENDER. Please include your cabin number, each person's first name and if they are a child, their age.

On March 2, 2016, I will distribute a list of all names and participants to all group members, so please do not email me any information that you do not want distributed to our group.

If you participate in this group, you will be committing to deliver at least one gift to each cabin on the list sometime during the cruise. You can choose to personalize or not personalize those gifts. You can choose to give one per person or one per cabin. You can choose to give extra gifts or just one gift. You can decide the amount spent on each gift. The gifts can be hand made or purchased. You can choose the gifts that fit the themes "From Our Hometown," "Favorite Characters," "Making Memories," "Fish, Fish, Fish," or anything else you like.

If you need to drop out of this fish extender group, you can drop out with no problems on or before March 1, 2016.

You may participate in our group regardless of your inclusion in other Disney meetup groups or fish extender groups. All are welcome.

The only gifts not acceptable in this fish extender group are foods of any kind as some participants may have allergies.

If it's another social media site - no, you're not allowed to link it or give search directions to it. The DISboards management prefers DISboards FE groups to be organized/handled on DISboards.

FE groups on other sites are not DISboards FE groups.

awesome! I just learned about fish extenders. We booked this cruise in January, and will be our first Disney cruise, and first cruise ever for our kids, ages 8 and 6. Will send you an email and put some of my crafty skills to work!

Ok so I know that I am very late to this forum. Is there any open FE groups that I could join? This is our first cruise and I just found out about the FE and thought it would be so fun for the kids and I to do together. I have three daughters; Olivia 3, Juliana 5, Mckenzi 14. I understand if this is not possible but I figured it never hurts to ask. I made the mistake of making the FE and telling the kids. We may just have to save it for our next trip. Thank you in advance.

Most FE groups do have a cut off date. This is to allow time for the participants to prepare their gifts.

There's no reason you can't bring along some little things that you could slip into the FE for your kids. Many people have done just this when they find they aren't able to get into a group.
