Looking for experience with adding two people to a reservation after check in.

My kids are flying in Thursday. My husband and I are arriving late on Friday. Is it possible for the kids to add us Friday morning, to the reservation for the remainder of the stay. I know there will be an additional fee, which I imagine the kids would have to pay at that time. In addition, does anybody know if ME would be available to me and my husband. Any insight is appreciated.

To use ME you must have a onsite reservation. You would have to be listed on the reservation. Can they add you, it depends if they have a package booked or room only. Also, room cannot exceed room occupancy total.

It won't be a problem for them to add you 2 to the reservation when they check in as long as you don't exceed the occupancy limit. Once you are added, you can call DME and make a reservation.

Thank you. One more question. Do either of the kids have to be present, if I stop at the front desk upon arrival. I'm thinking I should be able to go right to the room.

If you have Magic Bands already, you won't have to stop by the Front Desk.

Might have an issue if a dining plan is being used. Others have reported refusal to add guests to reservation when dining plan is being used and others have reported they were only able to add guests as "day guests" with no charging priveleges or EMH benefits.
