Looking for Epcot strategy advice

Looking for advice on best approach to ride Remy’s on day of arrival. We land in Orlando about 2:30pm so probably don’t get to Epcot until around 4:30ish. We have Genie +. Do I purchase lightning lane or use virtual queue? When? Before I enter the park? If I do it too early, is their a risk that I get a time prior to me arriving? Thanks!

I would purchase ILL so that I could pick the time that works best for me. If you try at 7am you may get a return time before you get to the park and you won’t be able to try at 1pm unless you’re in the park.

If you purchase ILL$, you can select the time you want for it.

If you try for Virtual Queue at 7am and if you are successful, you will get a Boarding Group number. Your number could easily be called before you get to the park. I have read reports from folks who arrived late for their Remy VQ and were still let in, but I would not count on it if I were you.

If I were in your situation, I would do the purchase option.

Most likely, in your situation, I would just purchase ILL$.
You could try for a BG, but almost guaranteed, it will be called long before you get there. Most likely, you would still be let in. However, if you try for a BG and don't get one, there may or may not be ILL$ still available and you might not get the time you prefer.

Buy it. We had the same sitch you have. So I bought the LL from the plane at 7 AM. No stress and we rode Remy that night.

Purchase. You will wait a lot less time. We used both ILL and VQ. We did arrive late, by an hour+, for our VQ and were let in without any issues or explanation. The wait with ILL was less than 10 minutes. The wait with VQ was 35-40 minutes. This was Thanksgiving week.
