Looking for Creative Costume Ideas

I need a white shirt w/ a corset for my Halloween Costume. The ready made costumes have been more of the sexy variety. I'm going for cute not sexy. Do any of you have ideas how I can accomplish this the no sew way. Unfortunately, the only sewing I can do is handstitching. Keep in mind that I'm short & overweight thanks to my meds. I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with. TIA

On 2nd thought, what I need is more like a vest that laces up in the front. Any suggestions?

I didn't even try to sew one...when I was doing the pirate's night costume for the cruise, I went on ebay, and found one in my size.

Two years ago, Michaels.com had dirrections on their site to make your own NO sew Pirate costume, they turned a t-shirt into a vest I think?

I made my son's I don't have the best picture of it tho. but its the costume in the lower left corner

Thanks for the info. I'm sure your DS will be adorable. I should have posted that I came up with another idea. My DH & I are going as our version of candy corn & Indian corn. Our DS & his GF still don't have a clue what they're wearing.
