BTW A big part of me going on this trip is thanks to Lorrie..who suggested I check Southwest packages which made me decide to check American Airlines which then lead me to realize they were in my Entertainment book and then all the stars aligned and they had a Poly available!!!


We are going June 10 -June 17th. The official WDW site ends "buy 4 get 3 free "on 6/6! AAA no monorail deals......... WDW no deluxe....

American was the only one and they were the ones I could get another 10% off of the deal!

Jillian, glad there's nothing wrong? Have they checked hormone levels? I guess so. Alot of times, they check estrogen and testosterone, but not progesterone. Check out www.johnleemd.com. There are alot of testimonies of ladies who were helped with some progesterone cream.

Lorrie, glad Mia had a good birthday party! Sounds so cute - post a pic! Good job, miss travel agent!

OK I have lost my mind! We booked a WDW trip! I WILL soon have a ticker!
We got the "Buy 4 get 3 package" through American Airlines vacation plus my entertainment book discount and the Poly garden view was available! I am afraid to tell you guys the cost because I dont want you to tell me we didn't get a deal but I feel like we did after a lot of talking it through (and I called Lorrie).

The reason I can justify it is because I will be going with just my mom and the kids so she will pay for half of the room!

As we are playing around with the numbers it came up that it was only going to be another $600.00 to add dining. $600.00 for the whole 7days. That would be for all 4 of us. I said to my Mom unfortunately and fortunately we would be spending that on food. 2 character dinners and BOOM that's about $300 of that $600.00 right there! Am I kidding myself!?

I texted a couple of you guys 1700.00 but now with dining it is a total of 3300.00 for the 4 of us. Is that bad for a deluxe resort plus dining?

So.......off to find airfare! I really am still in shock. Plus I am going to go to the WDW site and price out the trip without the eadl and see how well I did or didn't do!

Well, today I went to WDW site and just planned a trip for my dates without the specials and for the options we chose and it came up 5,000.00!!!!! Yeah me! To me it seems like I saved 1700.00!!!!!

I had NO luck with deals at the site. For one, they said it would end 6?6. Try looking thru other sites, thru people who bought packages from WDW. Give me an example of what you could maybe try and pull off and I will tell you where I would look......

Saw the shuttle launch last night! ASOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!! And we just watched it from the clubhouse parking lot here. We didn't even drive 60 miles south like we originally planned..... So when I post the pics keep in mind this is from 150 miles away!!!

Debbie - great job on the trip! I am SOOOO happy for you! I'm not sure if our blackout is kicked in by then - if not, I'll try to come down for the weekend!!!

Lorrie - glad the bday party was a success. That is so cute that Mia was crying over the song!

This next one is when the rocket boosters fell away - who knew I would catch it in the exact split second that it looks like a fireball???

These next two, if you look close you can see the shuttle on the left, and just to the right, the rockets are falling off...

The big cloud looking thing on the left is actually the ice crystals formed by either when the shuttle broke the atmosphere, or where the rockets fell off.

I never knew this actually happened - but it was still highly visible 10 minutes later.

This next one is about 5 minutes after liftoff

Seriously BEYOND cool. It brought tears to my eyes to know that there were PEOPLE on board that were going 25,000 mph and in about 5 minutes they were in outer space. Just so wild to think about.

Debbie - now to make you hate me... I honestly think you should at least THINK about doing a value - or maybe a mod. I know it is a deal to only pay for 4 nights and get 3 free - and it is a savings - I get that, but honey, honestly - you could do a value for $66/night. That would easily shave at LEAST $1000 off your trip. That is nothing to sneeze at if you are trying to cut back. That way you feel like you got a trip during a no trip planned year, and don't feel so guilty about it.

Since your mom is going in with you - you could get a room for $33 a night and THAT would be an amazing deal to be proud of. I hope I'm not overstepping here. I'd LOVE to stay at the POLY too, but I'd also love to put that $1000 on a credit card or something rather than on a hotel room that I'll be in just to crash and swim.

Nicolas and I really enjoyed the value and I would so do it again. If I could do it with him at 4 yrs old by myself, you and your mom could do it with the two kids. Elizabeth is old enough where your mom could deal with both kids as you board - and the stroller you could so handle on the buses. I did. I found people were so nice - if there was a point where it was standing only, they were always helpful and let us sit or helped us slide the stroller. A lot of times dads of other families with older kids that remembered how that was would offer to get it on/off the bus for me. I managed just fine.

The basic dining pkg was fine for us - we didn't spend extra on food except 1 character meal. It was great - so I think there is a great way to save some dollars there and be a bit more frugal if you want to.

It is just what you want, kwim. I think with planning sometimes it is easy to get all caught up in the mood to go all out (I myself am SOOOOOOO guilty of this), but at the end of the day - you're at WDW and you aren't sleeping in a bush! I hesitated to say all this, but I hope you know I'm doing it all out of love, nothing more.

I just went in to pay the trip off and noticed you could check in online 10 days before you get there.

Think this is a good or bad thing to do? We're trying to get a refurb room at CSR, I'm wondering which is the better way. Part of me wants to say if I do it online, I'm first in the que to get my request honored. Part of me thinks it will be up to the computer.

Kara - when you checked in to ASmo, did you do that or just wait until you were at the counter at the ASmo?

I didn't even know I COULD check in online! But I think the reason for our upgrade is that we were just there for 2 nights. It sounded like the other people being upgraded were short trips too.

I figured the same - with it being a convention resort, I imagine they have more weekend availability than others. Just a guess though.

I'm debating what to do - I think that is a new option though. It says you can do it 10 days before you get there. That would be sweet in a way.

But seriously, I'm more quiet in person, so I'm not good at the teasing stuff, but Nicolas can charm the socks off the best of them. He is quite the talker - and quite the cute kid - and it IS his birthday.

Oh - and the AKL deal got nixed when I realized on important thing NO BALLOONS. Nicolas would not be happy there.
