Erin - loved the pics and the snow! We're suppose to get some tomorrow, but doubt it will stick with us just being 60 2 days ago - but tomorrow we aren't suppose to break freezing so who knows. Then 60 degrees again in a couple of days, so no wonder I'm always a mess with the sinus thing!

Kara isn't feeling good today - so she said she'd try to catch up with us tomorrow. Hoping she feels better soon!

AND GUESS WHAT? I might get to have a DIS meet there - and maybe meet BSIL! Seriously - that part I am not worried about...

Wait a minute - what resort is she staying at? You better talk down CSR to her - tell her it is a DUMP! Her - next door ...

I started singular today - said it may make you feel drowsy to take it at night - I sware I feel tipsy! I may go lay down.

Really hope no one lurking is/well-WAS flying out today from the eastern side UK (Heathrow,Gatwick etc) - everywhere is shut down due to snow...

I'm looking at my plans and really wondering if the park hopper is worth it - what do you think?

Lorrie, I don't know if Park Hopper is really worth it - I mean sometimes its nice to be able to run for fireworks or something unplanned, and the extra $50 gives you that abilkity, but if you are there for RD, then take a break and eat at the same park, you really don't need one - just takes a little more planning. We had single park tics in 2004 for a week and didn't really miss the PH. We just planned which days were for which parks and stuck to it. We are planning the same this year, I think - except Jim gets a free PH, so I might upgrade mine, too. In 2007 when I went with my DSIS, I made plans to utilize the PH, and we did hop over to MK for shopping and for fireworks on two nights, so it was nice to have. We could have managed without it, though.

Ok - I'm excited! I just scored two tickets to Springsteen's concert here in Boston in April! I was on Ticketmaster for a crueling 20 minutes, just watching the page refresh. They finally came through!

for Springsteen tics! It was fun to see him at the Superbowl! I wondered if he was going to go on tour.

I am an over planner. It drives my hubby crazy ). He is a go w/ the flow kida guy, and I obsess over every vacation detail. I am so afraid I will miss something. This is our fams first trip to WDW and I am thrilled that everything is set up to enjoy the world. Don't worry, I am still crazy about finding menus for every park and making sure that we see and do everything we pos can in our 8 days, but I think I will enjoy the actual trip more because of all the preplaning )

The weekend was tough because my girls are so used to a routine and when we deviate it can get messy. Disney was fine Lorrie. I just changed things and didn't tell them. Beth needs her alone time in the bathroom and when she doesn't get it--look out. She is a different child.

off to the doctor because Beth may have ruptured her ear drum when cleaning it.

Other than that it is a much better day

I hope Beth's ear is okay, Laura. It is hard sometimes for kids to go with the flow when their routine is upset. I think they feel a little out of control.

It isn't too bad here just enough snow to be fun not a pain ya know, but the school was closed today and we are due for more tonight and tomorrow

I'm home from a great meeting tonight. We are so excited about our new products - they smell and feel so good, and the fresh fruit and veggie cell technology is exclusive to our company - so exciting! We meet at a Mexican place - the tortilla soup is TDF! The Mexican coffee wasn't bad either!

I need to try to get more sleep tonight - I overslept this morning - didn't get to sleep until 1am. Happy Tuesday everyone!

Kara - I originally booked Boma for 6:05... Thinking about seeing if we can push it back a bit. Forgot we are switching time zones that day. Kids typically eat at 5 - but I don't mind getting more Kara face time

Alrighty - so at 4 am - yes I'm a dork - I woke up thinking....

Okay, so longer commute from AKL - BUT most mods say budget 10-20 min for the bus to circle the entire property before you head off. We'd want to be on the early bus stop to ensure sitting probably for the kids - what do you think - think those are crazy thoughts?

Someone pointed out that CSR isn't that far from AKL - it is all relative I guess.

Tammie - I am thinking I agree with you about the hoppers. I was telling Kara yesterday, I could drop them and upgrade to AKL for only $200. Or drop them and take -150 off the trip...

I've got to get this settled today... It is killing me to have it so up in the air still.

The ear is ok. Just a scratch on the inside. She must have done that in her sleep.

Oh a bsil meet. How fun! I don't envythe decision process. We only used our ph once in the week we were there. We bailed out of AK because it was too hot and tim left us to go fish. We jumped to MK. I think upgrading the hotel is a better choice. Having the space in the room is worth it.

I decided I'm leaving the ressie alone I'm just stressing too much about it - but if the bus isn't an issue, then I think I want to try CSR. I'm going to have AAA convert it though, becasue they "say" there are shopping discounts we can get - anyone done that - know if it is even worht messing with?

SO... we're there May 2-9. Nicolas bd is 4th - but here is the kicker, our anniversary is the 12th. 9 years (well, we've lived together longer than that, but it is 9 years since I took him to be my "awful" wedded husband! Still cracks me up, sorry.

Can we celebrate that too? Carlos hates to be pointed out though - was wondering if anyone knows what they do when you are "celebrating" that?

We're watching the planning video. Man - what a diffence a year makes.

I was thinking MK for his birrthday - well, he informs me that he'd like to see Buzz, Power Rangers, Incredibles, etc for his birthday so I guess DHS it is... Now that I think about it though, with the Jedi Training - yeah, he'd so be in heaven there.

He informed me last week he HATES Sesame Street, Tigger & Pooh, etc. so the boy is getting older. so sad.

He's getting more comfortable doing things too. He asked to see Fantasmic ( I about fainted) and ride Test track, splash mountain, etc. Poor Mia on the other hand would be happy to do all that if she was bigger. She is by no means a chicken little like her brother!

Counter service at DHS sucks. I think Backlot Express is ok, but really nothing special at this park.
MK - Pecos Bills, Caseys, Cosmic Rays are my faves
Epcot - my new fave in all of Disney is Tangierine Cafe in Morocco! Also, Yorkshire County Fish Shop has good fish n chips in England, and Cantina de San Angel has good Mexican - good portion sizes too. But Tangierine Cafe has so much food!!! If you like gyros, you'd love it!
AK - definitely Flame Tree BBQ.

Oh, and I have my BSIL's schedule for ADRs - they are at Crystal Palace one day (I think the 4th) for lunch. Maybe you can just tour with her!!!

kara, at ASmo we stayed in the Toy Story Building - Woody one, 4th floor. It was preferred, but seriously I was a couple minutes to the food court, pool, bus stop - LOVED IT! The Buzz building is right near the bus stop. There is a little path there that just puts you right there. Seriously 2 minute walk tops. Very Quiet - loved it.

OMG I am having a huge pity party for myself! We got nailed with that stupid stomach flu and it kicked my ***! Then to make matter worse Mark got sick after his stress test so I was once again on my own with the kids. They of course trashed the house in between their diarrhea runs. I couldn't stand up without throwing up! You know it's bad when I don't even go on the computer.
