You all have such great ideas!!!! I'm loving it! Know what. I'm going to take both your plans and play it by ear! We will see how the day is going, etc and wing it. WOW - me saying "wing it" WOW!

But since I have an A & B option, I guess it isn't really living that dangerously. ha ha. And if we give up CP, I'm sure some soul will be thankful.
Side bar...do the rides have a sign that advertises wait time, or are you gals such experts that you can judge the wait by looking at the line?
Don't egg me, but I was thinking of skipping the Pirates this trip. DS is so funny about things being scary. I really want to be careful that I don't turn him off. The dark issue is the biggest one. I figured I would feel him out on Buzz.
Nooooo, don't skip Pirates - have I told y'all how HOT Cap Jack is?
Confession: I have mixed drinks in a baby bottle. Ha. Couldn't find anything to mix with, and I was DESSSSSPERAT! Just threw it in the advent bottle shook it up and DH was rolling at what our life had become. So far from our former selves!
by the way, I did pour it in a glass rather than drinking it from the bottle, so I'm not that pathetic.
I think that is hilarious!!!! Sounds like a true frazzled mommy!
I've got my glass of Chardonny right by my side. Afterall, "Lost" is on tonite - definitely need to relax to watch that show!
Renee - They do post "wait"times at the rides, but I don't think they're accurate - sometimes they underestimate; sometimes over. You can eyeball the length of the line and decide for yourself if you feel like waiting on it. We love the Peter Pan ride - but when I see that line snaking down towards the restrooms, I know it's going to be a long wait!
Ahhh, Lost, love that show!!!!! When I get confused as to what's going on - which is about 55 minutes out of the hour, I mumble, "Sawyer, just take your shirt off!"

DH just shakes his head at me.
No, we're fun!!!!!!
BTW I love Survivor, Celebrity Apprentice, American Idol, LOST and Lipstick Jungle!!!! They are all on tonight. Really...my poor kids! No seriously thank God for TIVO or my kids would be neglected!
Yeah, we're reality TV junkies here, too! And DH hasn't hooked our TIVO up since we moved. Yesterday I was looking at the box, thinking, hmmm, maybe I'll try to set it up. I told DH I was thinking about it and he just laughed!!! Yeah, I'm not much of an electronics guru!
My two faves!!!! I love the political INcorrectness of the Office - as soon as it comes on I start laughing, just imagining what Michael will say!
I wonder how much it would be for me to get some sort of spy camera set up in the house for while I'm gone. DH hasn't so much as gotten up one night with the 1 yr old yet. Him alone with her for 3 nights. OH, and he is "working from home too"

Let's just say I expect some appreciation when I get back.
Let's just say that I think your DH will want to share a drink with US after this trip of yours!

But I respect you taking the trip solo with your DS - you will be worn out! But in a good way!
I know....I feel the same way...it's this weird unconventional conection don't ya think? I wish we could all chat live somewhere at times.
I wish we all could meet! Maybe one day some of our paths will cross like Tammie and mine might at OHare airport! I am always up for showing anyone around Chicago too! We will probably do WDW the firt week of October for a couple two three nights????? Something will happen.
Can you imagine all of us at WDW together? That could be insane! We might worry ourselves to death about it our explode with all the control competition!
Good night pals...
I am pooped!
Yeah, what is it with this group? I just "met" y'all a month or so ago and feel like I've been chatting with you for years!!!! I guess we really are a lot alike!

Maybe a little nutty?
Debbie - I'm not sure when DH and I are going to Epcot for F&W, but it's probably going to be second or third week of October (our anniversary is 10/18) but if our plans change and we end up their earlier, and you are there, we'll have a Dismeet! Yea! Now my debate is whether or not to take DD with us. I know that sounds crazy since it's our anniversary, but it's also
MNSSHP while we'd be there (maybe!). If it's not that weekend, then she get's to stay with friends.
Hiya all -it's getting quite chatty......
DizzyErin - welcome from your lone fellow Brit on this one!! We have to convince these girls we don't all speak like Dick van **** in Mary Poppins ! Mind you, I always imagine they
all talk like the driver/butler chap in Hart to Hart - from Noooo Joyseee I believe..
Well, we are looking forward to our trip in LESS THAN A MONTH!!! AAAARRRGGGHHH - have printed off a packing list from a link to a link to a link - so will never find it again! Have also done a first run of the park times - that way I know what fits on a page etc for doing a final print a week or so before we leave.
Sorry about the dog Kara, I know it's harsh (I'm from Celtic stock and we like to be to the point) , but I think you have to bite the bullet so to speak - you know it is not going to get better - only worse... you know you will start snapping more at hubby and kids cos you are upset about it all emotionally , as well as at having to deal with the yukkkk . As others have said, I think you need to talk as a family (with a big box of kleenex) and if that is the way it goes - decide on a date when you are all together, spend a lovely morning and go do it.... The whole family has to take responsibility for the decision though, or you just know you will be blamed for EVERYTHING for ever. Sounds like you are lucky enough to have a loving supportive hubby -I hope you enjoyed your night! Good luck...
Hello to everyone else too - off to clean and plan, and plan and clean.....
Tessa
Tessa, I don't hail from New Joyseeee, but ah do have that suthrn drawwwwl sumtahms! Thuhteen yeahs in SC will that fo a guhl!

The biggest thing I picked up in SC is "y'all" - it's a great word and covers eveything!
Thanks for the welcome
It looks like we'll be there at the same time and i have just noticed my ticker is now in days

i'm so excited .. but i can't think of anymore planning i can do

surely that can't be right?????
And no thank goodness i do not talk like Dick Van **** in Mary Pops
Welcome Erin!

Your trip is almost here! Woo hoo!
Well, I went to Jenny Craig last night and gained a lb -

but it's my own fault. Let's see, I had a Banana Banshee at Universal (let's just say lots of cream and a little liquor - yummy!), fish and chips, a couple of beers, and did I mention the rice cakes yesterday? Not bad, huh? I ate the entire bag!

Surely it's just stress right now. Oh, well, I'm back on track for this week.
So I went straight to the mall and headed for Belk's (like Dillard's or Macy's, for those of you who don't have that dept store) because they had all their home stuff on sale. Well, the 10% coupon I had expired on Tuesday, BUT I still bought one place setting of bright red dishes! Then I got a serving bowl, platter, pitcher (for those XFusion drinks!) and coffee mugs in a red/green/yellow/orange/blue stripe - very Mexican! I think it will look great in the kitchen with the bright green walls and red accents! It's very festive - ole!
I decided to sleep with Bucky last night because he has the same tummy troubles as Bella, and luckily I did because he got up at 1:10, 3:15, and 5:10am!!!! He woke me up each time with his, how shall we say this, um, er, GAS!

I just had a funny feeling that Ally wouldn't wake up and he'd have another mess in her room. DH thought I had abandoned him last night when I went to the guest room with Buck.
Well, we have another round of storms coming through today. This is enough to drive a person nuts!!!! I actually love t-storms, but not when DD is in a portable unit outside the main school! That makes me very nervous! I just looked at the radar and there's a line of orange and red heading this way!
OK, ladies, have a great day! Hope to see lots of messages back and forth again today - that was fun yesterday!
