Looking For Control Freaks & Worry Warts too........

I'm picky about the companies I like -- that's why I'm so hesitant to use priceline... I guess it's just the control freak in me. :rolleyes1 I found that I get the best deals (and codes) through Costco Travel. I've used their codes bunches of times and have yet to be asked to show my membership card. Also, mousesavers has some great tips for scoring deals too.

I am using them for airfare though.......

I hate the way you have to get airfare:mad: . I hate that it’s like gambling! I saw a great fare on Monday but I thought, “Hey, Monday is a high day it can only go down....” Guess what?? Of course it didn’t! It went up and never came down this week. I am so bummed. It only went up $33.00 but I saw the lower fare on Monday, which always gets my goat!

Debbie -- Amen, sister !!! That is my biggest pet peeve with the airlines. Because airfare is so expensive to and from Hawaii, I start looking at fares months in advance and try to guess when it's at the lowest. It's like a crap shoot. And, if the fare goes down after you purchase, they charge you a fee to do a fare adjustment -- WTH ??? (Can you tell this is a sore spot with me ? )

It is really hard to eat right on the run, I know. Having a bag of almonds or trail mix in the car can help, as well as having some protein shakes pre-mixed to take with you in a travel mug. It is hard to plan ahead - I often opt for the bowl of cereal for dinner, too! :thumbsup2

Tammie - Thanks for the great ideas !!! And congrats on the weight loss -- keep up the good work. :cheer2:

I also am into so many crafts etc - life seems to have not enough time in every day - I only work one hour a day, and never seem to finish anything!! Do you have an "I'll finish that one day" cupboard?? Mine is overflowing!! (Confession - I also have an overflowing "I'll start that one day" cupboard!!:lmao:)

Tessa - I have one of those craft cupboards, too... well, more like it started as a cupboard and now it's taking over the guest room. :rolleyes1

As for my adults-only premium cinema: it is more expensive - $18/ticket but you get free coat check and unlimited popcorn. I hear the soda is free too but, I have to be honest with you, my girlfriends and I don't take advantage of that - we're quite happy with our bottle of wine in it's little cooler at our seat!:rotfl:

Cammie - I love the idea of the "premium cinema." Hmmm, wine and George Clooney, what could be better !!!:cloud9:

I got a sewing machine for Christmas and it is still in the box. I have no clue how to use it and wanted to sign up for classes.

I am the official trip planner (Lucky Me) We will be hitting CP our first day for Breakfast and MK is going to be our first park. Knowing us( just my parents,Dsis,DB,my DH,LO and Myself) I am sure the kids will be off by themselves. I will make ADR's and use TGM to help plan my days. I might be asking you alot of questions.

Jillian - I would so love to learn how to sew. I lurk on the Kid's Boutique thread (recently renamed DISBoutique), envious of everyone's beautiful creations. Also, I am a big TGM fan, too.

It is very difficult to maintain a "proper" diet! We all run from one place to another, and finding time each day is just not in the cards. :confused3

Sewer - So true -- I think I eat at least one meal a day (usually breakfast) in the car on my way to work... If I'm running late, the drive through at McD is sooo convenient, but not good if you're trying to lose weight... :headache:

Kara and Steph - :welcome:

Lisa amd Pam2 - I hope everything is going well with your Moms. Still sending prayers and blessing your ways. :grouphug:

Pam, Maureen -- HI :wave2: :flower3:

Here's some :sunny: for you all. Actually it's raining today - but the temps are still in the high 70's. Aloha -- keahi

I like the idea of posting in Word and then copying and pasting to the boards. Never thought of it, but this way I can refer back to the thread much easier!

Debbie, I read somewhere onetime that airfares are the cheapest of the week at 12:01am on Wednesday morning. Don’t know why, but that’s what “they” say – who are the infamous “they” anyway? And your ranting the other day sounds just like me over the past two weeks since I quit smoking. And you’d think that DH and DD would know to mind their p’s and q’s knowing I’d be on edge, but I swear they’re messier than ever just to tick me off!!!

Cammie – hey, that’s my sister’s name but she spells it Kami – you live in the Boston area, the Pats are in the Super Bowl, but you’re a Giants fan? What’s up with that??? We have toyed with the idea of renting DVC points, too, but just haven’t done it. I don’t think you can do the dining plan with DVC points, right? We also come “this” close to buying a DVC every time we’re there – now that we’re living in Florida I know we should just do it!!!
Jillian – DH is already ticked at me because I’ve made the whole group shirts for our trip in May, spent tons of money on ink for the stupid printer, just so I can do all this stuff for HIS family, then yesterday I decided to order our whole family new crocs for the trip. I know DH won’t wear his (not cool enough for him I guess) but it felt good to buy something new! I know what you mean about fitting back into those clothes! And I tell everyone – I lost 22 lbs in 3 months on Jenny Craig. It’s a wonderful plan, although a bit expensive up front. But it’s great for working women because the meals are prepackaged – that’s why I did it. Now that I’ve gained back 9 lbs during this move, I just made an appointment for next Tues to go in and pick up some food and get back on the plan. Our trip is in May and I want to hit my goal weight by then, so that means 17 pounds. Besides, dear SIL is a tiny thing that likes to remind everyone of that! So since she just had baby #2 I’d love to be the skinny one for a change! I know that sounds terrible, but if you ever heard some of her comments you’d understand and say, “Go Kara!”

Pam – sounds like a rough go of it with your mother, glad that she is improving.

Tammie – our miniature greyhound has slept with us underneath the covers since we got her 13 yrs ago. She’s around 14 years old now and not doing very well, except crying all night long from arthritis (actually, she’s doing better in Florida) but now she’s losing control of her bladder. Diapers won’t stay on her because of the way her back is curved. So we have to wake her up every night in the middle of the night to take her out – if we don’t she wets the bed just like a little kid! We don’t want to put her down just because of that, but at the same time, we’re in a new house, etc. I know that sounds terrible, but we’ve thought several times over the past year that we were going to have to have her put to sleep because she was in pain. Now we move, the pain goes away, but other problems pop up. I think this dog will live to 20 ! Oh, and we got DD a new puppy for Christmas (actually Santa brought the puppy to her when he stopped in on Christmas Eve – our neighborhood offered Santa tuck ins which was absolutely adorable! DH waited outside and handed him the puppy as he came in – truly magical!) so it’s like two puppies now, although the old dog hates the pup! Lovely!

Greeting to everyone!

OMG, I’ve written so much – y’all are going to kick me off! Have a great weekend!

Cammie - I love the idea of the "premium cinema." Hmmm, wine and George Clooney, what could be better !!!:cloud9:

Add Johnny Depp to this equation and I'm a happy girl!

Born & raised a Jersey girl! Been living in Mass. for the past 15 years and still haven't crossed over to the "dark" side. Still a die-hard Yankee fan too!

Re: DVC and DDP. I know as a member, I can do the DDP. Don't know for someone renting points though.

Funny about my name. In my whole life, I've never met another "Cammie". But, what do you know, one of my DD's nurse's name is "Kami". Mine isn't short for anything - is your sister's?

Loved the puppy story - so cute!

Ok, off to see George Clooney!

Hiya all

Debbie - you are sooooo right about being in planning mode right now!!! As for something going wrong - welllllllllll - I had a bit of a dimwit moment....I read our pre-bought ticket receipt and I was soooooo sure it said a 4 park flexticket for US/IOA etc and we want to nip to Busch Gardens for a day which needs a 5 park ticket, so I went to the travel agent ready to vent and just as I opened my mouth I noticed the travel agent had put on the receipt -FREE upgrade to 5 park with this booking..... she understood......:sad2:

I booked our bus/coach transport to+ from the airport yesterday - makes it all seem real.... last time when it was just me and DH we both fell asleep the minute we got on the coach on the way back - after I set the alarm on my watch for 20min before home of course (control freak in me...) so there is noooo way we are driving back -with both jet lag and park fatigue to deal with - I just hope the kids will sleep too -or 4 hours on a coach is going to seem like Hell!!!

Weather here is weird - one day sunny and high 50s the next dull or wet and low 40s - still am watching FL weather and it is looking nicer at the minute 8am ish here it is 46 F there it is already 50 F , so warmer than here at 3am!!!

Living on nervous energy is doing my diet wonders, I might actually fit some of my summer clothes and not have to buy more to take to florida.. (bigger......shhhhh)

DH was worried about luggage allowance - I told him that if he could find enough stuff to fill it he was welcome - we can take 2 x 23kg bags each (including the girls) + hand baggage, can you imagine dragging 8 big suitcases 4 hand baggage and 2 girls on a coach then an airport.... between the 2 of us. And where would we find a hire car big enough on the other side!!

Anyhow, got to go shoehorn 8 parks + rest + shopping into 9 days.....

Tessa

Jillian - Feel free to PM me w/questions just in case I check my email but don't have time to read all the posts here. We always go to Disney w/a group, whether it be just my DSIS and her sons or the whole family. I always have a great time but DO need time for just the 3 of us or before DD, just the two of us.

Pam2 - Glad your mom is cancer free. Hope she gets to go home soon.
I do not have a ticker either. I may not go for two to three years.:sad1: Oh well.

My mom is doing well but still has pain and is getting bored stuck in the house. It is so....cold here that I don't even like to go out. And last night it was so slippery.

I hope to read all the posts later. Hope you're all doing well.

Lisa

Hi all! It’s been nuts! I want to tell you EVERYTHING! I am a proud aunt to a girl, 7lbs, 15 oz, 20 in long, and just beautiful! We are all so proud! Between visiting there and w/my mom, we've hardly been home. I just uploaded pics to Walmart and can pick them up in 30 mins, so I am on finishing this post I started this AM. After I get the pics and pick up a few things, it’s home to get the girls and head to see the baby, then my mom. I hope we are home again tonight by 8pm. Baby was born at 12:28am Friday, so I was at the hospital until about 2:30am, then home and in bed by 3:30am, got the girls to school, headed into work, then left work at noon for visiting. I slept almost 12 hrs. last night, and tried to be a little productive around the house today and spend some time w/my family. They’ve done most of the visiting w/me, except for lunch times at work. We videoed baby yesterday, then took it over for my mom and dad to see at the hospital. My dad is waiting to see the baby until my mom does. She was told that she might go home Tuesday, the same day my SIL and niece should come home.

I thank all of you for your well wishes and prayers. I love you all.

I've spent a lot of time on the Disigns section here, making tons of stuff for the family trip in May. I've made everyone shirts, autograph books for the kids, personalized invitations for meals, personalized car magnets for the caravan from our house (yes, lucky me! they all converge on our house the night before we leave since we're only 2 hrs away!), etc. It's been fun making all this stuff, and makes me the favorite DIL (wait, I'm the ONLY DIL - )

WOW, Kara! You're good! I really do hope that they all appreciate you and what you do! I know that is not why we do things, but it does make you feel much better to be appreciated! It all sounds like a lot of hard work, but fun!

I think the anticipation is part of the fun! Last time we went to WDW we booked only 30 days out and as crazy as that sounds, I missed the long countdown! And now that we're Florida residents, we'll probaby make several day trips and a couple of weekends every year, so I just hope that doesn't take away from the magic!

We know that we are going 2 years before we go because we've been going every 2 years for the past 10, but we officially start planning and making reservations about a year in advance. We make countdown calendars and finalize itineraries about 3 months in advance. The trip is what we look forward to, and keeps us going thru those yucky Mondays, and long work and school weeks. Lucky you for living so close!!

First, let me start out by saying that after spending over an hour typing this and making it look pretty by the time I posted it Alex shut down the boards!!!! OMG!:scared1: I couldn’t believe it!! THANK the good Lord above I typed the post out in “Word”. Thank God!!!:cloud9:

Debbie – Great minds think alike! I usually do that, type it in Word first. It takes me forever sometimes to respond to what people have said and use the multi-quote feature. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you on your airfare. It is always a gamble.

If me posting my weather annoys you guys just let me know but I always like to keep you posted as to why I am either crabby, whining or hybernating! Also, I can try and make you guys one if you want. Sometimes I can just change a couple things around and it works. I would put it in my ticker but I think I got in trouble for that. Maybe I will go to the site and see if there is a smaller one.

ALSO....... Tonight is High School Musical on Ice for us!!!!!! Sadly we are going on again on Sunday! (Then I wonder why I am broke)

I love the weather tickers! It’s very neat to see what you all are experiencing weather-wise. Keep it up! (please!) How was HSM on Ice? You’re Super Mom for going twice! Now, if Zac were there, that would be a no brainer for me!

Hey, anyone have any good car rental codes? Also, anyone ever use those travel sites like priceline or hotwire. I just did last night. Thoughts?

I have only used Expedia to book my travel, or gone directly to the airline and hotel sites. Please don’t burst my bubble anyone about Expedia. It makes me sick to find out that I paid more than I have to, but please don’t tell me that Expedia is a total rip off!

I like the idea of posting in Word and then copying and pasting to the boards. Never thought of it, but this way I can refer back to the thread much easier!

Pam – sounds like a rough go of it with your mother, glad that she is improving.

OMG, I’ve written so much – y’all are going to kick me off! Have a great weekend!

Kara – Good minds…! Thank you, and never! I don’t post for awhile cuz things are crazy, then I come back and post a novel. I haven’t been kicked off yet! These gals are the best! I loved the puppy story and feel for you about your older dog. That’s tough.

Add Johnny Depp to this equation and I'm a happy girl!

Mmmm….we can dream, can’t we? I am so Patrick Dempsey dreaming…

I had a bit of a dimwit moment....I read our pre-bought ticket receipt and I was soooooo sure it said a 4 park flexticket for US/IOA etc and we want to nip to Busch Gardens for a day which needs a 5 park ticket, so I went to the travel agent ready to vent and just as I opened my mouth I noticed the travel agent had put on the receipt -FREE upgrade to 5 park with this booking..... she understood......:sad2:

Tessa – Just breathe!! and enjoy your planning. (I had to laugh, though. It’s always good to hear about others’ crazy, losing it moments. I don’t feel so alone and crazy!

Living on nervous energy is doing my diet wonders, I might actually fit some of my summer clothes and not have to buy more to take to florida..

Tessa - GOOD FOR YOU!! :cheer2: You DO get a smiley!

Cammie - I was supposed to go to a women's retreat at church next weekend, but there is too much going on here. I can't go. So...I am going to get tickets, if I still can, for the Hannah Montana movie. I hope it's not too late.

Lisa - I am so glad that your mom is feeling better! I hope that you all get some warmer weather! We didn't get our ice yesterday AM. I am not sure yet what it's like today, but I am getting ready to find out! Tomorrow is supposed to be 60 degrees, I believe. Crazy, crazy, weather!

Hi Keahi, Sewer, Maureen, Jillian, Tammie, and anyone else I missed in my haste! I am not even going to add cute smiles! Gotta run! TTYL! Happy weekend, everyone!

:grouphug: Pam

Congratulations Pam! I'm sure she is a real :cutie: ! What is her name? What a blessing to have a new baby in the family - especially when you have had so much worry. It's great that you were able to get a video for your mom!

Ahhhh - congratulations Pam2 , it feels so nice being an aunty , you can spoil them rotten and hand them back (ooo just had a thought, is it practise for being a grandma- much, much, much later on...) - is it your first time?? How many others - I have 6 nieces and 2 nephews...I am soooo proud of all of them...

Tessa

Hiya all,

just a quick query - probably dumb, but here goes - when we go to the magic in April will we need to take coats??? Any advice welcomed on this just don't really know what to expect weather/temperature wise...

Cheers,
Tessa

I've been twice in April and have never need a coat. I have needed a sweatshirt and Capri's Oh yeah and a Poncho! It was about 60F in the AM and then moves to the 80's by afternoon. I love April weather.

Debbie - We used Travelocity for our last trip for airfare and somehow we were charged $30 more per ticket after I went through everything. I did notice that the flights we were on were charging that same price for airfare if we went through the airlines. Anyhow, the good thing for us was that we had roundtrip prices but got to choose 2 different airlines. It was good because we wanted to leave Orlando late on the last day and the airline we took on the way there didn't have good times leaving for home. I hope that was not too confusing.
I have to find airfare to Vancouver or Seattle for August and it is always $360 or more for the last few months. I don't want to stop anywhere and I don't want to pay more than $300. If we go through Seattle then it is 3-4 hours to Vancouver, depending on how long we are at the border.

We have a luxury theater in Lombard and Rosemont. I haven't been to them yet but Rosemont even has some kind of babysitting services. It is supposed to be a really great theater. I think it is Movico, Debbie, in case you want to try it.

Pam2 - Congrats on your new baby niece. Being able to video it was so great for your mom. How is your mom feeling?

Kara - Sorry you're stressing over your trip. If your SIL starts to get annoying but you have a big group w/you, try to ignore her by talking to one of the others. Sometimes that works for me. Especially if I am talking to the kids about the rides or what we are going to do next. Then the kids don't have to listen to the ranting either. I can't imagine going to Disney w/newbies. My family and I know Disney so well so we all have a great time.

Hi Tammie, Keahi, Cammie, Sewer, Tessa, Jullian.

Hi everyone!:wave2:

Congratulations Pam! I'm sure she is a real :cutie: ! What is her name? What a blessing to have a new baby in the family - especially when you have had so much worry. It's great that you were able to get a video for your mom!

Tammie - Her name is Avery McKinley. Her first name is because they have never had an Avery in their classes before (both are teachers), and McKinley is for Mt. McKinley in Alaska. Alaska is what brought them together. They had both been on an Alaskan cruise before they met, and she had on an Alaska shirt and he an Alaska cap when they met. They honeymooned on an Alaskan cruise. The video was originally for Mom, but I think we watched it about 10 times this weekend! :rolleyes1 We haven’t had a baby around for a long time, and I think she was a blessing in the rough week that we had w/my mom.

Tessa – Thanks!! She is my first! I know that she will be rotten! My girls are the only grandchildren on my side, and they are so rotten:eek: , but in a good way. DH has a neice and 2 nephews, and I would love to call them my own, but my SIL is a B:mad: , and she never wanted and allowed us to be close to them. I sent his neice, the oldest, a card w/a few dollars for her piggy bank for her first Easter (something my aunties always did and we looked forward to!) and was told not to, that she didn’t want to have to send to my kids:headache: . She made it very hard to get close to them in many ways. My girls are SOOO excited:banana: , and cannot wait to spend time w/their new cousin. Megan got to hold her in the hospital, but Taylor wants to wait until we are in more comfortable surroundings to hold her. They are supposed to go home tomorrow. We’ll arrange to see them for at least just a little bit this weekend. I hope to post a pic tonight!

I have to find airfare to Vancouver or Seattle for August and it is always $360 or more for the last few months. I don't want to stop anywhere and I don't want to pay more than $300. If we go through Seattle then it is 3-4 hours to Vancouver, depending on how long we are at the border.

Lisa – You lucky duck to be going to Vancouver! Do I remember that you are going for a wedding? Have you been before? I’ve been once, for business, and I fell in love w/it:love: . I want to take DH there some day. I think that I would love to go to Seattle too, but have never been. I would also like to go east – NY, Mass, Maine, RI…

Pam2 - Congrats on your new baby niece. Being able to video it was so great for your mom. How is your mom feeling?

Thanks! Mom went home yesterday! She is very sore and weak, and will be home from work for about 5-6 weeks. She gets winded just talking on the phone. My aunt is staying w/her during the day until my dad gets home. My aunt is a blessing, and has been thru all of this. I don’t know what we’d do w/out her.

I took some meals for this week to Mom’s yesterday, but after last week, I feel like my house and life is total chaos:crazy:. I hope to get caught up (but are we ever really caught up? I am NOT!) and get some normalcy (What’s normal?:confused3 ) this week and next weekend. I do have some mom and baby visiting:yay: to do…

"Auntie" Pam - Congrats!

I love the name - very different and very strong-sounding. It's so fun having a new baby in the family! Enjoy it! It's nice your daughters can be around their new cousin so much also - what a close bond they'll all have. And - :crazy2: to the evil SIL! Her loss! :sad2:

Glad to hear your mom is out of the hospital. Hope she takes it easy and can see her new granddaughter real soon!

Pam - Congrats on being a new Aunt! Her name is wonderful!!! It will have so much meaning to her as she grows up - DD had a "best friend" in preschool named Avery and I always thought that was a beautiful name!

Cammie - Sis's name is not short for anything, just Kami. Funny, I had never seen or heard of a Kami or Kara spelled with K's until my senior year in college when a Cammie and a Kara pledged at the same time! Weird!

Yesterday, DH decided he wanted to help me decorate - we just moved to FL and bought a brand new house in November. So right now we have lots of plain beige walls and he wants "color." I'm wanting to stick with shades of taupe or brown throughout the entire house, and then throw some color in the kitchen, baths and of course the bedrooms. We've been furniture shopping, art shopping, you name it. Suddenly he thinks he should be on HGTV! I don't really want sage green or peach (he thinks it's "refreshing"!!!)in my foyer or formal areas, but he doesn't want tan and beige anymore. I told him we can accent with pillows and artwork. But peach???? What do y'all think?

Hi Girls,
Sorry I was a little MIA. I had HSM on Ice twice, Arthur Live once and a party and now I am pooped!
Hiya all,

just a quick query - probably dumb, but here goes - when we go to the magic in April will we need to take coats??? Any advice welcomed on this just don't really know what to expect weather/temperature wise...

I highly doubt it.

I've been twice in April and have never need a coat. I have needed a sweatshirt and Capri's Oh yeah and a Poncho! It was about 60F in the AM and then moves to the 80's by afternoon. I love April weather.

I agree.

That's why I booked through Hotwire. The cheapest flight were on two different Airlines and the times were better. PLUS I had an Entertainment coupon for another $20 back. I researched for a week high and low and it was definitely the cheapest route or equal to other sites. YOU HAVE TO CHECK THEM ALL. Once again it's like gambling!
And when I was at Arthur Live they gave us a flyer for that theatre. I might try it! Didn't even know about it.

CONGRATULATIONS AUNTIE PAM2!!!!!!!
That is awesome!!!! I love the name. I actaully know a Kacie because her parents met at a Kansas City (KC) Baseball game.
Hope your Mom is still staying strong!

Kara..... Good luck decorating...I do hope at least one part of you home will have a Disney theme!

Hi Cammie!

I told him we can accent with pillows and artwork. But peach???? What do y'all think?

Kara - I have to say I am with you on the accenting, but you're talking to someone who DESPISES painting and the upheaval that home improvements can do in your life. I have friends who seem like they change the color of their walls and borders constantly. I think the color looks great, but I just think it’s easier to change the accents. But, I’m really bad – my kitchen floor desperately needs to be replaced, the tile is cracking and pulling up in one area, and I have put it off for a year now. We’ve been wanting to put ceramic in for the past few, but just haven’t because of the hassle. So – don’t listen to me! Peach is nice!!

Hi Girls,
Sorry I was a little MIA. I had HSM on Ice twice, Arthur Live once and a party and now I am pooped!

Debbie – I am nominating you Mom of the Year! You are always doing fun stuff w/your kiddos!! They are very lucky! Now that I am not going to my women’s retreat, I want to take the girls to see the Hannah 3-D movie Fri night, but Megan has a dance at her school and I am not sure if she is wanting to go to that or not! That’s awful not to know, but there’s been so much going on lately. If she goes to the dance, I will chaperone since I’ll be home, and hopefully we can squeeze in the movie Sat or Sun. I forgot – are you all seeing the HM 3-D movie?

EVERYONE - Thanks again all for the congrats and well wishes for Mom and the baby. You’re the best!!!!

Pam2

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: Hope your doggie does better - I feel bad for her. You are really nice to let her sleep with you and get up at night. Nice you got a new puppy!

Hi everyone!:wave2:

Alaska is what brought them together. They had both been on an Alaskan cruise before they met, and she had on an Alaska shirt and he an Alaska cap when they met. They honeymooned on an Alaskan cruise. The video was originally for Mom, but I think we watched it about 10 times this weekend! :rolleyes1 We haven’t had a baby around for a long time, and I think she was a blessing in the rough week that we had w/my mom.

What a cute name! I know a nice girl named Avery here. What a fun story her parents have! Babies ARE a blessing! :lovestruc

I think it's great that your DH is taking an interest in the house! I have one peach wall in my bedroom - kind of by elimination. When we moved in, the walls were a light grey with one mauveish one. I had to get rid of it, but didn't want to paint it, as it would mean the closet and hallway, too! So I picked a peach color, and believe it or not, I just redecorated with beiges and browns and acquas, and the peach is a great accent! Who knew? :confused3

Hi Girls,
Sorry I was a little MIA. I had HSM on Ice twice, Arthur Live once and a party and now I am pooped!

Sounds like lots of fun! I would love to be able to see some things here once in awhile. We do get a kids play or some re-makes of Broadway shows which are fun put on by professional crews - utilizing local talent. Fun - but not HSM!!! :goodvibes

Happy Tuesday everyone! I'm busy trying to catch up on episodes of Lost so I'll know what's going on on Wed!

Hi Everyone! I hope that you have a great day! It's hump day! and downhill until the weekend!

We are seeing Hannah Montana 3-D Sunday, during the Superbowl. Since our beloved Cowboys aren't playing, I have no interest. (Like I would have an interest anyway...:rolleyes1 ) I thought it would be less crowded, but I may be mistaken!

Hiya all,

just found "our" thread on page 2  thought I'd give it a bit of a bump....

I thought I'd give my view - I loathe peach , mind you I hate all the nondescript beigey stuff too - I like to have some character and personality showing.... the UK is following the trend, so everywhere is starting to look a bit "corporate dull" if you know what I mean. Sorry to you folks over there, but beige does remind me a bit of the old "stepford wives" thing..

Now I've probably insulted you all (sorry :flower3:) I shall go pick up the monsters from school - ready for piano lessons - yippeee, wooo I get to sit through 2 lots of twinkle twinkle little star played almost , but not quite, right.... sorry, they are progressing well, but there is a limit to how many nursery rhymes a mum wants to hear (twice);). Still, at least the teacher comes to the house...

Just read all of the above again - could anyone guess I get PMT?

Tessa
