Hey BTW I think your DH is cute..
and I'm not just saying that because I photo shopped his sis!

Yeah, I kinda like him too! :lovestruc Funny story - when we saw Nick Lachey in Epcot and his assistants were powdering his brow, etc, and making all over him, Jeff looks at me and says, "I look better than he does." He tried to keep a straight face until I said (in my most patronizing voice), "of course you do dear." We both cracked up then.:rotfl2:

Ok - so I have one more "Disney" magic story......:wizard:

In 2001, we went to WDW in June and December. So in June, we go to AK and we're in the Tarzan Rocks! show (did I say how much we LOVED that show!). Anyway, wheelchair seating is in the front and Lauren is sitting next to Amanda. Now, Lauren has always been very lovey towards Amanda - kisses her, holds her hand, helps her clap to the music. She's always been this way, so I really don't think it's anything out of the ordinary. Fast-forward to Dec., and we're at Tarzan Rocks! again. DH and I are joking that is the same singers from the last time. At one point during the show, I notice one of the male singers making eye contact and some hand motions to Lauren: he's touching his eye, then his head, then pointing at her. I really wasn't sure what was going on, but after the show, a CM came up to us and ask if we could follow him - someone wanted to meet us. We go back stage and the singer is there with one of the trapeze artists, Tarzan and Jane. The singer tells us he was motioning to Lauren - "I remember you." He tells us he remembered us from months ago and that Lauren and Amanda really stuck in his head for how sweet they were together...... and he thought some of his "friends" should meet my special girls! Ok - so cue the mommy tears! I was stunned that he could remember us - and then did something special for us. And, that, my friends, is why - WDW will always be my vacation of choice!:cloud9:

We do Cape May Cafe which is a really good seafood buffet:confused3

Thanks for that link, Debbie! I guess I'm more worried about the tropical systems (hurrican, TS or just lots of rain) more than the heat. This will be my first September in FL so I guess I might as well do it at Disney, huh?

OK, gals, I need one more restuarant while we're there. We're going to scratch Flying Fish (even though it is our alltime fave!) on our arrival night, since we were going to pay out of pocket. We're getting in Wed around 6ish and leaving on Saturday. Instead of doing a 4 day hopper, I knocked it down to only three and figure that first night we can do dinner at either a resort or DTD. I'm thinking maybe Raglan Road now? Then I can use the DDP for that one. I have only two others booked on the DDP - Chefs de France and Tutto Italia. Then on Saturday before we leave we can do one or two CS. Cause we can probably share a couple of CS during the stay. Especially if it is that hot! So we're there 3 full days, and then that first night we arrive. So 3 CS, 3 TS and 3 snacks each. Raglan Road? Anyone? That's if I can even get in that first night!
You know, I always go to the beach in Sept. We have been there the weekend after labor day for the past several years. Never had a tropical storm issue. The weather and water are always great. Hotter than in May, but the water is warmer and more clear too. Love Sept!

Thanks Cammie - nothing like deciding this is one day I'm going to put on mascara. Now it is all over my face! SWEET story though! :lovestruc

Off to wash up noww!

WAIT!!! WTH am I talking about the park hopper? I'm a passholder now!!!! I can't believe I forgot that. So I guess we could go anywhere in Epcot (staying at Yacht Club) that first night! What about Biergarten? Or Rose & Crown? No offense to the rest of you, but....... Cammie????? :rotfl2:

Well, I can tell you about Raglan Road after my trip in June. I know Erin loved it! It sounds like a real good time place - there's Irish entertainment that comes on after 8:30 - so the restaurant is pretty loud after that. I like that type of environment though. I love Rose & Crown - it's nothing fancy (always order the fish & chips), but we've always been put at an outside table for an Illuminations viewing and the staff has always been fun and friendly. As for Biergarten - It's my "Coral Reef". I've given that place two tries now - never again. I really don't know why everyone gives this place raves. I hate the food - and I am not a picky eater. Plus, you're seated with other people; which could be alot of fun or a real downer. Since you're staying at the YC, have you tried the Yachtsman Steakhouse? We're trying it in June also - it looks good.

Hey Cammie...Are you going to make yourself a MAGICAL GATHERING in November???
Other stuff to consider..........
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1789336

I've looked in to it.

Here's my post: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1824840

Thing is ...... we're only a "magical gathering" for three nights. Our first night together is the day I check in - we're doing dinner in Epcot because it's the last weekend of F&W and I really want to see it. Our last night together is Monday nite and that's the first night of MVMCP - which we're doing. So that leaves Sunday nite. I really wanted to do the AK safari dinner (sister didn't) but it was sold out anyway. So I looked into the Illuminations dinner/dessert reception. Was not impressed. And honestly, I can sit in wheelchair seating and have a good view. It's pretty pricey and the cm couldn't even tell me what food would be there. I'm going to try and reserve space on an Illuminations cruise instead. Can't book those until 90 days out though; so I'll just have to wait and see.

Debbie - Be sure to check at the links in that thread; good info and reviews from people who have done it.

I loved the Yacht SH is was so Yummy a little stuffy, but yummy. DH was wearing his ballcap (baldy) and we had just come from EPCOT and he had forgotten to take it off (always does when he eats) Well the hostess told him he wouldn't be seated until he did (very rude and serious) I couldn't believe it I asked to speak to the manager and everything. He apologized and we had great seats and service they even comped a bottle of wine and sparkling water ( I was Pregnant). But the food was to die for YUM YUM. I had the rib eye DH had the filet and we both got the tomato stack. Heaven:cloud9: . I also LOVE LOVE LOVE the CG. It was so magical during wishes and the sushi chef made me an all cucumber roll and doubled the portion because "I was eating for 2" The service was amazing.

Cammie- That story brought tears to my eyes. WDW is the most amazing place.

Debbie- How did you make out on the dryer?

Tina- How is DD?

Renee- Make up I can't even bother I am lucky if I dry my hair.

Jillian - So happy to hear about your positive review of the Yachtsman. Lauren and I are eating there in June. She's a steak girl - just like her mommy! Plus, we looked on the menu and saw they have the white choc.puzzle dessert for the kids. Comes with edible "paint". She loves that! We stayed at the BC once and ordered that from room service - she still talks about it!

Cammie - just had that new chocolate dipper hershey pizza from Pizza Hut. Anyway, thought of your comment. It comes with chocolate dipping sauce.

Anyway, what about some day you do that for Lauren? You could order it - think of it like a breadstick order about the size of half a sheet of paper cut down the middle long ways and then into rows. You could use some shaped cookie cutter to cut it into kinda puzzle pieces and then use the chocolate as paint. :confused3 Not the real thing, but might be a nice little pick me up one day :confused3

Well, Jillian, truth be told, DS just turned 4 and it is just this year I've gotten back to makeup a few times a week. :rotfl2: It isn't much more than powder, concealer, and a nude eyeshaddow/mascara, but it is progress. My hair is pretty no fuss too. Just dry and go. My hair is fine, so if I let it air dry it looks pretty flat!

Wish we lived closer! I'd let Badookie come over for a while! You need some time to pamper yourself. Being a first time mommy is a hard jump from not being one. You are doing a great job though!

Thanks:hug: He was just a monster when we went out to dinner. Screaming his head off everyone took turns walking him around:sad2: Oh well. Now he is napping at 6pm so he'll be up late. I am going to do some more cleaning. DP tonight?

Quite honestly, with the little I read on one of the sites in question, I have to agree with the webmasters. Very mean-spirited. I say good riddance.

Probably not much DP for me tonight - Jeff is whining about my time spent online at night :scared1: so I think I'll just post now and sign off. We just grabbed a couple of brewskies outta the fridge and went on a long golf cart ride. Now Ally is off to bed.

Jeff read my trip report and said, "you'd better hope my sister never reads that." I can't imagine she would ever be on here, for sure not anytime soon. Do y'all think I should delete at least the pics of her family?

Jillian - thanx for the info on Yachtsman - can't believe the CM would be that rude about ballcaps? Jeff is pretty good about taking his off (at least for table service in Disney) and never wears one locally if we go out to eat. But I see so many men who keep theirs on all the time in Disney.

I think we're gonna go with Rose and Crown. I remember you saying you didn't like Biergarten so we may wait and try it someday with Ally, but not this time. Yachtsman is out since we're using the DDP and not wanting to pay any out of pocket this trip. Trying to save a little bit at least - figured that Flying Fish would probably have set us back $150 so no out of pocket dining this trip. I thought about moving to CSR instead of Yacht Club and Jeff said, "but it's our anniversary trip." He's so funny about Disney. I can pretty much spend what I want or plan what I want there and he's cool with it. But Ally is definitely staying home that trip.

Cammie - what a wonderful story about that CM at Tarzan Rocks! We never got to see that show for some reason.

Makeup? You've got to be kidding me! You saw my pics from Disney - just don't do it! When I left my old job, the gals there teased me about working from home in my bathrobe - they even got me a fluffy bathrobe and slippers as a going away present, and my cake had a Barbie dressed in a bathrobe sitting with a laptop! But one gal told me not to go and get "frumpy." Too late! I do get up 99% of the time though and get showered before everyone heads off to work and school. But I probably only wear makeup 2 days a week. And even then it's only blush and mascara. Just not a big makeup person.

I may try to sneak in a post or two later, but Jeff has that "look" in his eye tonight, so I'll probably just check in tomorrow!
