Is it really that hot in September do you think????
See, Jeff and I really like AK and part of that I'm sure is because we first went 2 weeks after the park opened, so we've seen it "grow." But it is a part with a lot of shows (like DHS) that you really have to plan out, in order to see it all. AND make good use of FPs. But we like it all, and even more so, you need to take the time to explore the little pathways, like Gorilla falls, etc. I guess it IS my least fave, but I do still enjoy one day at AK each trip. But like, Cammie, I guess I do get a little overexcited over Epcot!
And even though we are commandos when we tour, Jeff and I do always take time to sit and relax in all the parks. We were just talking last night about how so many people just don't "get it." As in the magic. They think WDW is about the rides, but it is so much more. It's getting choked up seeing your daughter meet her first "real" princess. It's seeing the wonder in the children's eyes. It's watching Wishes and "feeling" the magic. It's being a kid again. It's NO FIGHTING in Disney! It's seeing Carousel of Progress every time even though I make so much fun of it! It's singing "Its a Small World" the entire trip! We were talking about how his sister treated it like Six Flags or Cedar Point or any other regular amusement park. MK, AK, Epcot, DHS are NOT amusement parks! They are all part of Disney WORLD!
When SIL and BIL took their son on the racecars 8 times, DH and I would get so mad because those are at any amusement park in the country. But country bears (as corny as they are) are ONLY at Disney. Same with CoP and Monsters, Inc, and Jungle Cruise. And we hate it that his parents didn't get to see these things cause they were babysitting for 8 rides on the speedway! Hopefully his parents will be up for some daytrips so we can show them all the things they missed.
OK, enough of my magical musings!
