I read most of it. I can't understand it. I think some people were doing somethings that weren't good so they booted them. I wish WM Alex hadn't posted at all that way I wouldn't be thinking of it.

DH is looking at jobs again. He always seems to be drawn to Chicago. This on is for Dell. They say he'd be based in Mpls but my hunch is we'd end up in Chicago. I've always heard the nort side of town is the best area to be.

Well it hasn't been a good night!! We stopped for dinner and DH had the Mussles that should be enough said. You guessed it he's been up all night sick - both ends. I got some Kaepectat into him and he's in the shower, so hopefully we'll be able to get back on the road. There'll be no gem mining today. Sounds like we'll just drive the 12 hours home straight or I'll drive the 12 hour straight. Please pray for me that I'll stay awake and that he won't get sick in the car!!

I am so.... sorry Tina! I feel so bad for you! I have lots of puking smileys in my hands but I won't subject you to them since it probably isn't funny at all yet! Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well my BEAUTIFUL, WONDERFUL, HEAVENLY weather is gone! So I officially do not want to hear about Kara or Pam's weather right now!

Oh well, at least it was nice while the P's were gone (makes taking care of the doggie a lot easier). They are in for a big shock though! I think we are going to get some snow flurries tomorrow!

They are coming home tonight.

I have to clean, get their house in order downstairs, finish my laundry and clear the way for them. I am not allowed back here until it's all done!

Good morning girls! DD's friends are still here - busy making pancakes and entertaining them. Sorry I missed the fun last night!

Jillian - I was exhausted too last night! It's been a long week -- and I only had the kids for half of it!

Debbie - Yeah, our nice weather is leaving too! It will only be in the 50s for the next couple of days; rain is supposed to come in later today. I think we've seen the last of snow though!

Tina - Being sick and in for a long drive - that's the worst! Good luck to all of you and be careful! Check in when you get home.

Tammie - What did you think of Lost? Intense episode this week, huh?

This is kind of how my day looks.....




So should I really be having a smiley party right now.....I don't think so....

My day is somewhat like that, too! I do need to make a few calls for orders (hint, hint Debbie ) And tonight we are going to a fabulous hunting association dinner.... But, I will get to spend some time with my parents and aunt and uncle, so it's good! One year I won a big safe, so who knows.....

Sad to see some of the names that are banned. Still am not sure of the reasons.

And I feel like there are some bullies...probably not the ones kicked out, but we may not know the whole story - it just doesn't make any sense! I have had some people really attack me for my opinion on some threads, so I just don't express it much - but these people have always been very accepting and fun

Me again! I wanted to share a fun, positive Disney story! My friend has a 13 yr old girl named Kelsey. She is just about to graduate from 6th grade. There is a group of "mean girls" at her school, and then there is her group. There are 3 of them, including Kelsey who have been very kind and friends to a girl in the class named Amy with Down's Syndrome all through school

Well, last night Amy's parents threw a party for the girls and their families - Crush from Nemo called and told them that since they had been so kind to Amy all these years, they are all going to Disneyland!!

Amy's parents are taking all 4 girls, plus 2 older teens and another set of parents to Disneyland for four days! Isn't that sweet? I just love it when kids get rewarded for doing the right thing!

Such a sweet story! And what a nice thing for Amy's parents to do. As the mother of a special-needs daughter, I can tell you first-hand how important it is to have your child be accepted by their peers. We've been lucky too - so many of my younger DD's friends are so sweet to her sister. They really go out of their way to interact with her. A little kindness goes a long way!

The visit went well. We stayed up almost all night talking. It is amazing what all he had to deal with in Iraq that you have no idea about. He literally had to burn all the envelopes that had addresses from us to ensure that some crazy didn't get our addresses, etc if he was captured. It is just unreal. He is a very good kid.

Today is kinda cooler here too. It is rainy/70. Not the nice 80's we've had. C U All later I hope!
