I am a customer service mgr for an internet company - we sell gas logs, fireplaces, gas grills, etc. I used to work for the wholesale distributor (the largest in the southeast) and now I'm their customer! It couldn't have worked out better actually. I'm still doing the same thing, selling the same products, but I don't have the management headaches I had in SC. Even though I have the same "title" I really don't have anyone under me anymore, which is fine by me!

Every once in awhile you need to yell, "great shot!" and see what your DH says! Then he'll REALLY shake his head at you!

Okay, we will hit that 600 together! My family gives me a hard time, too, but they don't mind when I know all the tricks to planning a great vacation - where do they think I learn these things?

Sorry for the delay. the kids came home with an Easter egg kit, and then DGS wanted to color eggs right away - almost bedtime and the eggs aren't cooked - so I broke out a cookie kit I had purchased tonight - they can do the eggs tomorrow. Then I mixed up the frosting, and DDIL is doing the decorating with him!

BTW, next time we need to get everyone together to chat somehow. Isn't there a chat feature on these boards??? Yes, I could've asked this in my last post but how would that help me get to 600?

I was going to suggest that - If you go up to the Chat at the top - most of the chat rooms are empty, so we could just grab one of those!

So how much does it REALLY rain in OR? And are you anywhere near Tonya Harding? OK, that's about it for my knowledge of Oregon!

Tonya Who???? Just Kidding! Her stomping ground is about 5 hours north of here. She used to skate at the mall I really liked to visit - now it is about dead -

Here is your geography lesson for tonight - probably will do you for a whole week - Oregon is divided by the Cascade mountains, which run N-S for virtually the whole state. The Western 2/3 gets lots of rain - especially in the Winter - grey and gloomy all Winter. It probably rains part of almost every day in the Northern part of the State, less in the Southern part,

Now on the Eastern side, where we live, it is "High Desert" on the whole East side. It has an elevation of 4000 ft, and it is very dry. Our town is "Oregon's City of Sunshine." They say the sun shines part of every day!
That doesn't mean it is warm - with the elevation, it can be quite cold.

We have even had snow in July! We have a warm 60 deg coming tomorrow, and then the forcast is for rain and snow all next week, Spring Break - that is our normal Spring Break.

We don't get Spring until June, really - and then Summer is July. Baseball season is way colder than Football season!
Then in the Fall, we have Indian Summer, so our weather is warm way up to the end of Oct, although it starts freezing at night in early September!

Now you know the sad story about our climate!

Thanks girls i knew i could count on you all to back me in my planning, i made another ADR last night just for me and my part of the family, hahaha the ones that realise if i didn't plan they wouldn't have the best holiday

Was so tired today; watched a movie tonite (Jane Austen Book Club - pretty good)

Oh i watched that the other day, really liked it but made me want to read all her books again and spent most of the film trying to figure out who 1 of the women was .. googled her and realised it was shannon from lost with dark hair .. doh .. been a while since i watched lost

Good morning everybody - it's 7:30 am, I'm awake, and I'm not happy about it! I just can't seem to sleep in anymore. I would love to be able to sleep until at least 8-8:30 when the girls are with their dad, but I always seem to still wake up by 7am! Is this what starts to happen when you get older?

Anyway, sorry I missed the gabfest last night, Tammie & Kara. We really need to organize our nights so we're all awake at the same time. And I was wondering about those chat rooms - do we just pick one and use it?

I know - I saw her name in the opening credits and it took me awhile to realize which one she was! How about the actress who played the french teacher? She looked so different from her character in Devil Wears Prada!

I guess since I'm up, I'll head to the food store - I have a couple of things I need to cook for Easter dinner at our friend's house. And, of course, have to get some eggs for coloring. I'll check back later -- when my high-def receiver is in!

Good morning Cammie I was up at the same time DS didn't go to bed until 9:30p usual bedtime 8pm and woke up at 4am until 5am then woke up again at 7 this morning.

Sleep is non existant in this household.

So a little vent DH was mad at me yesterday because I went out instead of cleaning the house. My Aunt just moved and we went to see the new house. Anyway he had major attitude and said he was upset because he wasn't expecting to see the house a mess. By the way I was on a cleaning strike because he wan't helping. I know I stay at home I do a lot baby bath B,L,D laundry dishwasher etc.... I told him to stuff it. URGH

How is everyone doing I see you all have been very busy typing. I will have to catch up but I have to CLEAN and find time to bake cupcakes and a cake.
