Well, first of all, they don't guarantee room requests -- even if they are done months in advance. So there's no way they'd be able to find three rooms all in row for you - at check in. Let MIL whine all she wants - hopefully she'll be three floors away from you so you won't have to hear it!

yup that would be a great idea but we have swim lessons. The YMCA may frown on a "happy" mom.

DH is working late tonight. Cammie - when you shared about your Ex-DH, I started grilling my DH a little more. For some reason I was worried. It just sounds so bad when he is out of town and working late so much. He laughed at me. He said if I was having a fling don't you think I would take better care of myself. He looks like a wreck lately. I just wish he was home and/or I didn't work nights so we could see each other.

DD lost her camera. We bought her a FP digital camera when DD was born. Can't find it anywhere. I am so mad - I think she may have left it at DBIL house so it is gone for good.

Oh I know but my DH & I are never going to retire and my poor kids are never going to get us to pay for college at the rate I spend money!!!!

Seriously, I can't imagine if we all had to stay in three rooms in a row. We went to a wedding in Detroit a couple of years ago, and she made all our room reservations so I called and changed ours to a suite (since it was around our anniversary was my story!) so that we wouldn't be right beside them! I mean geez! Let go a little bit! But this is a woman who seriously has no life outside her family. She has no friends, no hobbies, she retired at 57 and now works at the golf course they live on. And the more drama the better. On Sunday she was talking to DD on the phone. I heard every bit of conversation from DD and she told DMIL that her ear was bleeding and they didn't know why but maybe she scratched it or something. DMIL gets on with DH and said "Why is Ally's ear bleeding from too much stress?" Seriously, she LIVES for drama and bad news!!!! I can't imagine going through life that way - it's too short, which brings me to agree with Cammie about GF, Debbie - life's too short or as he sings in (name it ladies!), "Life is a prize, live every minute, open your eyes and watch how you win it - Now is the time, now is the best time, now is the best time of your lives....."

Well he's right about that one, Laura. My ex became OBSESSED with working out and "bulking up" - would have powdered drinks for breakfast & lunch; subscribed to "Men's Health". Final tip off was when I noticed fancy, designer underwear he had bought. I'm telling ya - it all played out like a bad Lifetime movie!

Ok - so did you REALLY start drinking at 8 a.m. today?

No, but I feel like I did - it's been such an emotional roller coaster! Now I'm sitting around the house moping and I keep crying whenever Bella comes around. DD is kinda sad, too, but she doesn't know what's up. We've been kinda prepping her that Bella is old and could die soon, so hopefully she'll be okay tomorrow. This is gonna suck sooooo bad!

So I'm watching Alvin and the Chipmunks with DD. Alvin was my favorite cartoon character as a kid! Followed by Snoopy which is why Mall of America is my favorite mall (nooo, shopping has nothing to do with it! ). How far is that from you, Laura?

So are Chip n Dale related to Alvin? I see quite a resemblance.... Chip, who's yo Daddy? Ahhhhhh, I need some sleep!!!!!

The Mall of America is about 30 min from where I am . I am on the northern side of Minneapolis. We're in a suburb called COON RAPIDS. I love the reaction on peoples faces. I then follow that up by it is named after the furry woodland creature. You'd be surprised how many sighs of relief I've gotten.

I have bad news Kara. Camp Snoopy is no more. The lost the contract about 1.5 yrs ago. Now it is Nickelodeon Park. There was a big ruckus when they opened last month. People feel they are charging prices more in line with WDW. Can't say, we haven't been since it changed. We love going there. It is blessing on those really yucky cold days.

Chin up, soon Bella will be running around with lots of happy doggies in heaven and looking at the Koi I killed this winter. Good luck and bring lots of tissue.

Camp Snoopy is gone???? I'm soooo sad - Nickelodeon is yucky!!! I know where Coon Rapids is! There are some funny sounding cities in Minnehaha!!!

OK, so I'm feeling a bit sentimental tonight, so I'm going to share with y'all! And it's not even drunk posting!!! In fact, I'm drinking chocolate milk!

Hey guys. I actually stayed away for a while! Woo-hoo!

I've been crying a bit today. I think first off, the Bella thing is bringing back memories. Actually I remember that same pose. Make me miss her terribly. Don't talk to me Kara. I'll talk you out of it today.

Second, I think it has finally hit me that I'm leaving DD for a few days. I didn't think it would be a big deal, but it is really hard to think about doing it. I've been sitting around and started crying a few times. Of course DS becomes concerned. I just told him that I felt a little bit like a bad mommy. He said, "no you aren't, 'cause you made me a peanut butter and jelly sandwich today just because I wanted one." Good to know I haven't done anything to scar him from life just yet.

Again with the waterworks. What is up with me today???

Renee, I remember the few days before I started back to work when DD was 12 weeks old, I cried off and on for a week I think! Now I feel badly for bumming you out about Bella! I'm so sorry!

OK, to make up for it, here's some more pics of DD - don't think about leaving DD for a few days, think of what an awesome time you will be providing for DS!!!!! And DD and DH can "bond" for awhile!!!
