OK, can I just say I think I'm having a breakdown? .....

BTW - are you in off the ledge yet?;)

Having one of those days, huh? There ain't nothing a good ole' extra-value meal from McDonald's can't solve - YUMMY! Although - it is St. Patty's Day - I would have grabbed a beer!:rotfl: IMO, it's still not too late for that!

Thanks for the congrats, Laura!

Snowing?!:scared1: I hate my weather but at least we have the sun out today!(it did snow a little yesterday) Ummm, Kara - I'm liking the sounds of your house more and more!

Spend under $50 at Target? No, it is virtually impossible. No, really, it's been proven to be IMPOSSIBLE!

And also CONGRATS on the anniversary Jillian!:woohoo: Hope you're doing something fun and romantic tonite!

I'm still on the ledge! Someone pull me in! :rotfl2: DH has called me 4 times today to check on me - I guess I really have lost it!

Laura - yes, I agree that Target is a guaranteed $50 - on a slow day! That was smart to do that though! I saw today that it was snowing again in MN - my dad grew up in Elbow Lake - any idea where that is? Somewhere out in the boonies is all I know! I have an uncle who still lives in Elk River - in fact, DD and I flew up to see him about 3 or 4 years ago. He's that uncle that never married, and because he worked for the old Braniff and then NWA, he always flew to see us every month or so. In fact, he took me to Disney World in 1976, my first time ever! I've always been his favorite niece, and his best friend (also a bachelor for life) took his niece and nephew the same time. Hmmm, looking back that seems kinda creepy, huh? :rotfl:

I have cousins that live 15 minutes from him and haven't seen him in years - I may have to fly up and help him move into an assisted living center. I hate that nobody goes to see him or anything. Needless to say, I don't have much to do with these cousins either. My aunt in CO may fly in and meet me to help him out. My dad (uncle's brother) doesn't fly anymore, and doesn't handle these situations well, if you know what I mean.

Anyway, there I go off on another tangent. I have a way of doing that!!!!

Cammie - yes, you do need to get the paper every Sunday to get the coupons. I used to faithfully clip the coupons every week, then organize them in a file. But now I just file away the entire circular and then clip as needed. No offense, but if I don't NEED the coupon for Monistat, why clip it? :lmao:

OK, I just took DD to the store and I bought a package of Archway cookies - yup, ate the whole d*** thing! You're right, I should just start with the green beer!!!!!!

Tonight is kids contioning at the fitness center. DD wants to go so I should probably go hit the treadmill or something, too, but I will probably come home and wallow in self pity instead. I'm feeling pretty pathetic today.

OK, off to check my ebay account! I'll know tomorrow what sells, woo hoo!

I had to google Elbow Lake. I've lived in MN my entire life and hadn't heard of it. Found it by Alexandria . I've been near there. It is tough with family and ones that never married. I've got one too. My great aunt never married and never left home so when great-grandma died she was lost. We ended up putting her in assisted living. Her sister, my grandma wanted nothing to do with it. Too much emotion. At least you uncle sounds like he is better off than that.

One nice thing about Elk River is that they are building senior apartments in the downtown area. The city bought up some land is re-developing it. One of my other aunts lives is Otsego, just outside of Elk River, so we go to her place to go snowmobiling so I have gotten to see the progress. They look pretty nice.

I am working on a Green dinner tonight. Green Eggs and Ham, pistachio pudding, green beans. DH will think I've really gone over board but it will entertain DDs.

Yeah! Grocery game is now at one of our major stores. Have to go sign up

Hi Ladies!!
How are you all?? Sounds like you are all chatty....

CrdisMom(Laura)First of all I like your Aviator....High five on the green dinner too. I am impressed!
Sledding:scared1: I am so.....done with winter!!! So done!
DizzyErin(Erin) Hi!
tttessa (tessa)I pretty much pack the whole medicine case when we go. I am nuts though!
Camster0307Congrats on the refinacing and taking the higher road with ex-DH. You rock!!! Glad you feel a little better. I feel like I am fighting something myself.
soontobewed07 (Jillian)Happy Anniversary!!!! Are you doing anything special?
karajebo0 (Kara)Sorry you are having a bad day. I don't work from home and seem to feel the same as you a lot! I don't know what it is but sometimes I just snap. Like today DH implied I should get a job down the road. Now I have thought this myself but because he told me that I should get one I was seeing stars! I just bit my tongue except for saying I wasn't going to get a job so he could retire at 55! OK maybe that was rude of me but he annoyed me. I ALWAYS feel underappreciated. ALWAYS...I feel like no one appreciates anything I do. That includes my brother, my parents, my kids and my husband. I do a lot to keep the family smooth sailing but it always goes unnoticed. Oh well...that's life right?
UsNew2Disney2008(Renee) Where have you been? I didn't scare ya away with my breast reduction talks did I?
TurtleBug (Leslie)Glad you are still hanging with us!

Debbie - Totally understand where you are coming from with DH and job. I have one where I work 6-10 pm a couple of nights during week and then on Sunday. in all it totals 20 hrs. I got the house isn't being kept the way I think it should talk the other night. I lost it. I explained very sternly that I work too and keeping house with 16 mo home all day is not easy plus volunteering at school. (I'm breathing......) Anyway his come back was if it is so much work why don't you get a full time job and we can go back to splitting the chores (yeah like that happended regularly before). We went a couple of rounds. We've really perfected the art of discussing things for a LONG, LONG time. I finally explained I am home because WE had the girls and WE are going to raise them. (hope I don't hurt anyone by that, jmo) He understood. I think the discussion will be never ending. I am not a neat freak, I do things on my own schedule. LOVE ME, LOVE MY MESS. I might get one once 16 mos gets in school but not sure. ;)

I used to tell my ex, when he told me I should get a job, "No, I don't need to get a job; I just need to get paid for the job I already have!"

And, on that note, off to watch the end of "Dancing with the Stars". Good night ladies!

One more thing... I can't find the page that has the city and weather info on it. I want to add that to my signature but I can't remember when you last talked about it. Would you pass that along?

Hey Deb, I'm here! It was a long weekend with Ohio's jr. high state wrestling championships. It started with a 4 hour drive to Ohio University, insane weigh in's, ending with two 14 hour days of screaming people, and a 4 hour drive home! My son did well placing 3rd out of 48 kids in the 138 lb weight class, but getting home at 2 in the AM, and eating fast food for 2 days sure beat me into the ground. My son had strained the muscles in the upper part of his chest in the quarter finals, had a difficult time in the semi's where he lost 3 - 0 to a kid he's beaten before. He put an ice pack on his chest for 45 minutes, and came out to beat 2 kids to place 3rd. A friend of his at 126 lb weight class ended up with a fractured vertebrae, and sadly both kids were expected to win. My son was able to finish, but his friend could not, and will be wearing a back brace for the next 5 months.

Great to see you! Sorry about your sons injury! Thank God it wasn't worse. He sounds like he is a true competitor and VERY good at what he does!! My DH wrestled in HS but doesn't sound like he was as good as your son by any means. He went to York HS. Let me know if you are ever by Chicago for a meet and maybe we can meet! I still can't believe you get to go to WDW for wrestling!

Thanks for jumping in!:yay:

Look how cute this one is.....

Can't figure out how to do Tammies or the girls on the other side of the pond....sorry.

Keahi... If you put a weather sticker in your siggie we might have to hurt you! Kara..I'm not that crazy about looking at yours either!:rotfl2:

I need cities and states if they are big cities and/or zip codes. Not sure how to do it if you are outside the USA.

Speaking of that...anyone watch The Bachelor? Erin and Tessa are you familiar with this show? Well, our latest bachelor is from London and he is hot!

OK I need to get something done....
Debbie...back away from the computer!!!!

Hey everyone. Thanks for the well wishes.

we went to dinner for our anniversary I was nice to be baby free for a few hours and we each could have a drink without fussing and I actually got to eat a whole meal without it getting cold.

We picked up our papers at AAA today and I am so excited it feels real now. I will start packing for real today I have seperated things in suitcases but need to use the checklist to see what I have to buy.

Kara I have had days when I just want to strangle DH because he doesn't help out enough as it is I have to go to the laundrymat tonight because he hasn't done laundry and I have been working like crazy so neither have I. It just makes me so MAD!!!! I came home from work yesterday and the baby was in mismatched clothing and had a wet diaper.

It's finally starting to feel like spring here:yay:
