I'm in a silly mood today. I think I'm feeling giddy because I know school starts next week and I get my life back.

Or maybe I'm delirious because I just spent 4 HOURS - yes, 4 HOURS - untangling a beaded curtain that Lauren had for her bedroom doorway. We had taken in down about a year ago because she didn't like it anymore. I stupidly just tossed it into the bottom of a closet where it became a tangled mess. Of course, Lauren found it yesterday and decided she wanted to hang it back up.

I swear, I felt like I was working on a Rubik's cube!

I sware there was nothing sexier to me that knowing #1 he had been listening to me, and #2 listening enough to REMEMBER Amanda's name! Makes me think I should take back a few of those times when I've wanted to wack him upside the head.... NAH!

Our kitchen is "this" close!!!!! I'm getting so excited! And since Jeff is home this afternoon, HE can deal with the electrician when he shows up! I hate making all these stupid decisions!

I so just want to blow off this afternoon and go to the pool! I think we may head up there after work for an hour or so. We haven't been in 2 weeks, and that's a long time considering we're normally up there 2-3 times a week!

Jillian, ANY exercise is good! I blew off the gym today because the stupid electrician was supposed to be here "first thing in the morning." He still hasn't showed! But I got my floors swept and mopped and I've vacuuming now. Plus dusted, cleaned my kitchen counters, and wiped down all the window sills! We have really deep window sills and Bucky likes to put his front paws on there to look out. Needless to say, they get pretty yucky!

So maybe not 200 calories like on the elliptical, but I'm sweating like a pig, so I'll take that as a good workout!

And good find on the NS food at Big Lots! Who knew?!

Yes, I'm worried about everyone in Lousiana right now! Gustav looks like he's gonna be nasty!

Laura - glad you met Beth's teacher. Like you said, there's nothing wrong with the "tough" teacher, especially at this age. They seem to have better control of the class. And kids this age don't seem to dislike their teachers anyway, so I'm sure Beth will love her!

OK, seriously, the Gophers? That sounds dangerous!!! Kinda like them Ducks up in Oregon! Sorry, Tammie, I just couldn't resist!

The guys are promising me that our outdoor kitchen will be FINISHED tomorrow!!!!

Hey! He's pretty tough! Last year he got suspended for beating up the bears mascot - they had pictured on the big screen at the game in jail bars, and fans were chanting "free the duck!" He appeared in the box above us, and the crowd went wild. Pretty funny stuff! We're going to the game tomorrow!

And, BTW - the only college mascot that is a Disney character!

Well, got (sorta got) the results from the CT.

Okay - Dr. calls at 15 til 6 pm - setting of a little concern. He said that the CT appeared 92% clear. So, I'm thinking GOOD NEWS! Then he has this concerned voice. Goes on to talk about these white scattered patches showing up and how it could be infected patches, but that he isn't sure. The CT is very sensative and could be picking up mucus, but his voice still sounds really uncertain. He said it wasn't contained to just the right side, but all over. I ask should I worry - he said he wasn't worried, but his voice sounded a little concerned. He said that based on the radiologist report, it wasn't that bad, but he wanted to review the films himself and see what he thought. The another concerned "How are you feeling". Okay - now I'm like WTH is wrong with me? I told him still issues on the right side - he said typically the body should be able to clear that. (So now my mind is thinking why is mine not). He just repeated again that he really wanted to review the films next week and then go from there. Keep on the decongestant. So I don't know what I know, except I'm very happy I'm 92% clear - and I'm THINKING at this point that any major Cancer issue (again, my biggest fear ever) is ruled out, and that this could be a matter of sinus surgery at worst case, but if it is 92% clear, I'm not even so sure it would come to something like that.

I guess what makes me a little nervous is this is the same dr who hospitalized me when I got MRSA in a salavary gland I had removed. My face was swollen to where I couldn't open my mouth on half my face. We did 3 oral surgeries with simply a local administered to the bone. He knows I'm fairly tough with stuff like that - and then when he thought we were going to loose part of my face, he didn't sound concerned - so that is probably why I'm a little freaked out. I'm hoping maybe he is just baffled. I dunno.

I guess I wait til next week.

On more positive news (TAMMIE - learn from me) I think I am selling my tiny Cricut and upgrading to the big one. I really think that is what I want to do. I use it a ton. Sad thing is mine is just over a month old, but I could REALLY get some milage out of the other one. I can't recommend it enough.

Tammie - saw a cute thing to make a dollhouse for kids using cardboard. It looked so sweet. I thought of you with your grandbabies. I'd be happy to tell you how to make it. I know I would so love for Mia to have something like that from her grandmother. Do you get Creating Keepsakes Magazine? I think it was in there that I saw it.

My BF and I went through my craft closet. I'm not downsizing MUCH, but I am downsizing some. Mia has been up a lot with teething issues. Not too many more to go. 2 molars and then 3 more of the ones before them and we are done. Thank goodness!!!!!

Renee, you kind of got non-news about the CT, except no tumors! I'm sorry you can't get rid of the "stuff." Hopefully your doc will find a solution. Are you worried that he is the reason you had complications last time? Maybe you should get a second opinion. I hope you feel better soon.

Renee - 92% sounds good to me! And I'm sure if the "white spots" were anything to worry about, he'd have rescheduled you for more testing. Could just be an infection of some sort..... And probably will affect his decision on how to proceed. I'm sure all is fine!!!

OK, I have some more Disney trivia! Our non-Disney neighbors, who are totally into Disney now brought us back a really neat book about WDW with all the things that make Disney what it is!

So does anyone know how many resorts were originally designed to be around the lagoon? Three! Grand Floridian does not count as one of the three original plans, because the third was supposed to be a Chinese theme.

And why is the Contemporary where it is? And why is the Poly where it is? What did Walt want people to see from the Contemporary and the Poly (think of the themes.....). He wanted the Contemporary to overlook Tomorrowland and the Poly to overlook Adventureland. Actually, he wanted guests in the park, in those lands, to look out and see those resorts and have the land continue....

Also, the Contemporary was originally supposed to be a skyscraper, but when the contractors came in with the cost for the new cubicle rooms that could be built, it made way more sense to do that and now that's how all the rooms at Disney resorts are made!

I can't believe Gustave is already a Cat 3!!! I'm so worried about everyone on the Gulf coast!

Need to run to HD and get more mulch and another outdoor ceiling fan - the electrician will be here soon and he needs it to finish up our project! I'm so excited for this thing to be DONE!!!!

Oh, and a frog got in our laundry room last night, from the garage. I have no idea where he is though, so I'm sure he'll scare the crap out of us this weekend when he turns up somewhere!
