Hi all. Been away for awhile. Been busy with the kids and activities all summer. Plus was sad we had to leave Disney behind. I aalways want to turn around and go right back.

Cammie....I haven't had much time to read through the posts and I am not sure what happened, but I hope everyone and Amanda is ok. Here's a bunch of             for you and your girls. I am such a bad, bad person for not checking in.

I want your opinions...
My kids got in big, huge trouble for making a gigantic mess when I left them alone for a few minutes. My girlfriend said "what do you expect...that's what kids at that age will do when they are left alone" to which I answered I think at least Elizabeth should know better!
Thoughts?
Talk amongst yourselves.........
I'm off. See you guys later or in the AM.

How old is Elizabeth now? I would agree with you that she should know better. I mean, to some extenty, yes, they're going to make a mess and not clean up. But syrup??? She knows better. Ally is the same way though. I leave her alone for 10 minutes and she can destroy the house! Her biggest problem is not picking up one mess before going to make the next mess. If she would clean up after herself I wouldn't have a problem with it!

Last night was pitiful. I told her to go upstairs and get her bedroom, bathroom, and playroom all cleaned before Nana and PapPap get here today. Jeff and I were sitting outside drinking a couple of brewskies. I went upstairs and she was crying, "I don't wanna clean - I wanna be outside with y'all." It was pathetic. But the good thing was that she had really done a pretty good job cleaning. So I let her turn the TV on to finish cleaning.

Now she has what Jeff is sure is a swollen gland under her chin. It freaked me out right away when I felt it. She's been complaining that her neck is sore for a couple of days. I want to take her to the dr, but Jeff is convinced she's fine. What do you guys think???

Good morning! Amanda's has her post-op visit with the surgeon this morning; so I won't be back on until this afternoon. She fussed alot last night; problem is - when something is bothering her, it causes more seizures. I swear, I feel like I've just been medicating her 24/7. I feel so bad!

Kara - I may be paranoid, but when it comes to lumps or swolleness in the throat, I'd get to the doctor to hear what they think. Better to be safe than sorry! Good luck.

I made an appt for Ally at 11 - I totally agree, Cammie! Jeff just comes from a family that NEVER goes to the doctor! And my family is full of hyperchondriacs, so we balance each other out! :rotfl2:

I'm glad she is going to the dr. That is waht I was going to chime in for. DR! Especially since she is going back with them. Ya know? Generally the glands mean something is going on - may just be drainage, beginning of ear infection, etc, but better safe than sorry. :thumbsup2

I NEED to go to the mall. I need to get my glasses repaired while they are under warrenty. I almost started to do it today and I realized it was free tax weekend. Everyone and their brother comes to our mall for major shopping - including a lot of people from AL. There is no way I'm going there this weekend. NO WAY!

My SIL bedding for my niece is darling. So much so, I've thought about doing Mia's room in it. It is girly - daisies and such. I don't know - what do you guys think - Princesses or Daisies with Princesses mixed in. Any words of wisdom from those of you who have been there?

Cammie - LOVE that picture!!!! Background of my computer now! :thumbsup2 Glad to hear Amanda feels better. Did he say what his opinion was on why she was having issues?

I'm digging my bonus room now a bit more. (Kara - I moved the couch to the left of the wall, and moved the chair over by the TV). It opened up the full room so RICKY, the wonderful child watcher that he is, can fully see all kids at all times from his EBAY/EMAIL/STUPID VIDEOS thrown. Now Mia is climbing so you really need to watch her.

Oh, and Debbie - I so hear you! Now, mine are a bit younger and it was DD who did it, but I have some nice yucky black marks on my carpet which some professional will have to get out - GUESS WHAT? Smooshed Banana! Only her partner in crime was her DAD!

Okay, help with the bedding/room... This one or ....

I ALREADY HAVE this one, but I'm not wild about the colors...

Renee, I like the top one best, but if you don't want to use exactly what your SIL has, go to Walmart - that's where I got Ally's comforter. It's very similar with the big flowers and the colors, but it's just different enough that you won't be copying your SIL. And Walmart is cheap so when it gets stained and dirty... well, you know.

I'm resealing my granite countertops today. I swear the builder never sealed them so they always look streaky and filmy. It's gross. Hopefully this will help.

Went out last night and got some more flowers for the back. Some spreading ground cover that is just a purplish leaf, really pretty, and then some sorty of orange perennial. I hope to get them planted tomorrow morning. It's just so dang hot down here and humid. I've never had sweat literally running down my face and arms, like I did the other night. It's awful!

Kara - okay, so why? What would make you go with that over the princesses - Just curious to hear what our Interior Designer has going on in her head. I know you are thinking something I am not, so I'm curious. Honestly, I was leaning toward option 2. HUMMMMM...

As for that, nah, she doesn't care if they are the same. Honestly, I could send her the bumper as a spare! The WHOLE set at Target is $80, so it isn't that bad. I was reallly impressed with the quality. It is a quilt - the flowers are embrodery, and the solid fabric is a super soft fabric.

Elizabeth is 5 going on 15! Thanks for your input. I wish every day they would clean up after themselves! It is an ongoing battle!

AND agree about a looksie at the Doc.

Good luck with everything today. I probably won't see you again until I get back! You can always send me a text though! He! He!
....I better make sure they are free!

Renee...I am the wrong person to ask because I OVER buy everything. I went with Pottery barn with highlights of Princesses but she also has HSM in pink and a princess one. I switch them up depending on my mood! I have issues!

OK girls I have to get a lot done before we leave around 3 today so I am going to try and stay away.

I will try and check in right before we hit the road.
If not, have a GREAT weekend everyone!!!!

Oh and I know I still have to work on the contact sheet. Pam...did you send the spread sheet to everyone or were you waiting on info?

I just like the idea of the flowers for a little girl's room, and then you can use princess accents. Even princess sheets for her at night. It's just my own style I guess. And I actually liked the princess set that you already have, over the other one! :confused3 I liked the gold in it.

My favorite room of Ally's (she's 7 years old but had 4 different decorated rooms!), was using Jeff's great aunt's antique mohagany furniture, with a pink and green plaid quilt, white eyelet bedskirt and sham. The walls were pink and it looked so old fashioned little girl.

I'll see if I can find some pics of her room now. It's cute, too. Gotta run to the doctor!

I said a hundred times yesterday...
"the kids can't be left alone"
"the kids have to be in the same room as me 24/7"
"the kids aren't allowed by themselves"
"I can't let the kids be alone"

OM freaking Gosh...
I left them alone and Matthew colored all over the coach and tray and blanket! I really can't take it some times!

VERY cute!
And I also change the sheets up between Princesses and HSM all the time.

:confused3 At least it wasn't a BIG RED Regular, not washable, Crayon that he decided to draw a big circle in the living room so everyone could play DUCK DUCK GOOSE, or let's see, a flooded out cabinet bathroom sink because he wanted to let his ducky swim a couple of HOURS! :scared1:

Would it help if I told you it all stopped at 3 1/2?

?
I'm the same. Nicolas has about 6 bedding sets - a nice PBKids one that he doesn't like :rolleyes1 at least it was 50% off! Several Disney ones. Now - WallE sheets, Cars Spread, and I think Diego Blanket :rotfl2:

Mia - we didn't find out what sex we were having, so I've never done her room. Seriously, she had 2 cream sheets, 2 cream changing pad covers, and the chocolate curtains. That is it. So now, I'm itching to get her a girl room before she gets much bigger.

!

The pictures are really cute. I agree that I like the bedroom you did for Ally and I see a splash of Snow in it. I just am Decorating Stupid. I honestly have no idea how to put it all together. She really loves Princesses, but I don't want it to look like an idiot put it together either. SIGH.

I called my SIL and talked to her. We went back and forth on which to buy. She said she was of no help. It is the blind leading the blind I tell ya. I would love to do my room in it, but I hate to steal the idea from her. Then again I SO LOVE THAT QUILT! :lmao:

Then my other issue is the princesses tend to tie in those chocolate curtains - which I can't give up. The other quilt might make that stick out like a sore thumb.

Why don't I have a Martha side like Martha??:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

OK, so it is just a swollen lymph node - whew! But he put her on an antibiotic because he said he thinks there's "something goin on" in her mouth or throat. Super! And he gave her the green light to go with her granparents this week.

As for the bedding, Renee, I just don't like to do the spreads in the characters. That's just me. I would rather use the characters as accents.

Seriously, check out the little girls quilts at Walmart, too. Very similar and it's held up well since we moved in here. Especially considering that it's usually thrown on the floor. Been washed a bazillion times cause the dog has either peed on it, pooped on it, or barfed on it. Nice. I know.

OK, gotta run, my phone is ringing off the hood today!!! And I still have to scrub floors and make the guest bed. Otherwise, it is what it is!!!

Martha - so glad you took her. Good she's on the meds too because now you won't worry all week. :thumbsup2

Okay, so I"m on WalMart. I sware, I'm stupid. Here is my thing - chocolate curtains, white plantation blinds. I think I would like to do pink and white with it.

Would this work? Or will the chocolate curtains clash?
