Saturday - the one day of the week we do nothing but chores - I'm off to Joanne's (for tye dye stuff), Walmart (for new PJs) and Stop & Shop. Then it's home to do the dishes, laundry, change the beds, wash the floors and clean the house. I HATE SATURDAYS!

Tonight we're having friends over for a pool party and we're going to do tye dye as well. Should be fun.

Your Saturdays sound like ours. It is always chore day here too! I go grocery shopping and laundry gets done and the kitchen and Bathroom get deep cleaned.

Did grocery shopping today myself. It's not fun starting from scratch in the fridge and freezer.

Hi girls .. i've ben missing for a while .. been so busy here!! Decorated my folks house whilst they were in Canada, they absolutely loved it and my friend and i are now talking about going into it for a business .. we did her folks house last summer and my brothers too so fingers crossed .. since then i have been helping my bf pack up her house as she moves a week monday plus i am organising a surprise 40th wedding anniversary party for my folks which is a week today so all a little stressful here .. plus of course i now have my girl at home with me which i love but another person in the house all day means i don't get on here as much as i'd like ... Anyway i'm missing chatting with you all soooo much, hopefully when party is done and friend has moved i can return back here to chat with you guys

Hi Erin! What would you charge to fly to Texas and redecorate? That would be a fun business! I hope the 40th goes well! We are planning one for my IL's 50th in January. We need to get going quickly. So far, we only have the place reserved and a guest list. Lots of work to do....You're busy!!!

We (I really mean Tim) want to get a pool or spa. Can't decide which one. I lean towards a pool because the kids love to swim. TIm wants a spa because he loves to just sit in the tub and relax. So we'll go round and round on this for a while. but no trip. Kind of bummed but I think this will be a better use $$..

A pool or spa sounds nice! I would have to vote for the spa for selfish reasons! We can go swimming at the Y or public pool. A private hot tub would be really nice, very therapuetic! (IMO)


Taylor and I bought a few things for back to school, enjoyed our time at the mall, then decided to let Dad join us at Olive Garden (her fave) for dinner. Since we got to enjoy lunch with just the two of us, she was much more willing to share me. I think she really missed me last week! Megan, not so much. She ditched us early this PM for a movie and overnight with a friend.

OK - I am alone in here watching Hannah. Taylor and her friend (and Dad!!!) left the room! WTH?!! I also think I am a lone poster tonight. WTH???!!!

We're having the same problem with the 3d glasses - it's "muting" the vibrance of the colors. It did look much better in the theaters (not as good as in person, though!)

I hear the movie is also premiering on the STARZ movie channel and you don't need 3d glasses; I'll have to check it out.

And, yes, the JoBros. are the new sensation around here also - I'm quite partial to Joe, myself; Lauren is sticking with Nick. Anyway, we were lucky enough to score tix to their concert around here on Aug.7th. I'm sure the screaming will be just as loud, or louder, than the Hannah concert!

We just got back from the lake. We drove about a half hour from here and hit a local lake to swim and take a long bike ride. I am going to really enjoy the fact that Beth can ride her bike by herself. Needless to say I am sore and sunburned.

Hey Laura! I think the Disney Channel is showing the concert again back to back tonite.

Dinner with my sister and her kids went fine. They did get here after 7pm but we went right out to dinner and had fun. They were up and out of here by 7:45 this morning!

I tried to meet up with Pam1 this past trip in June - we were actually in MK on the same day and spoke on the phone but just couldn't make it work! In Nov., I'm meeting Kara and Jillian; there's also two DISers I met on my TR who I'll be meeting on my first day at the ESPN club.
