That's what I am having trouble with. One year we did Fantasyland first. Then another year we did Tomorrowland first. This year my DD12's BFF/neighbor is w/ us and she's never been to WDW. I'm thinkin' get FP's for SpaceM and ride either the Speedway or Buzz and Stitch then head to BTMRR and SplashM, HM...I don't know!!! :scared1: Yikes...we have been soo busy. :faint: Panic has just set in. Should we do all those and then do Fantasyland? We've never done Peter Pan and I'd like to do that. DD4 will ldefintely want to do Dumbo and it's her B-day that day sooo don't want to ruin that. I better get to talking with DH!!

Anyone with advice feel free to chime in!!!! Should I do Tomorrowland and then Frontierland and then Fantasyland or Tomorrowland, Fantasyland and then Frontierland? We almost always do Adventureland last.

Pam - My thoughts are that the rides in Fantasyland seem to get soooo crowded so quickly. Dumbo has NO FP so you should try to get that in during the EMH. I've also seen unbelievable lines for Peter Pan; and that's a very slow-loading ride so I would, at least get a FP for that too if it's important for you to ride. I secret I've learned is that you don't have to necessarily use your FP during the time window on the ticket; you just can't come back BEFORE the time printed, but anytime after is fine. Does that make sense?

My roomate took away my ziplocks darn her, Naww we bought sale ones, who knew one QUART was so darn small. Guess its time to go back to math classs. We spend over 50 bucks at target buying food and travel stuff. Who knew we needed SPF 75 sunscreen?

Well, I just had a minor panic attack......

Called the WL to confirm that they received by box from UPS. The front desk claims she can't find my reservation; switches me to a main reservation line. :scared1: I was so spooked by the whole thing that I called the WL back 30 minutes later to double check again - my reservation is there. And so is the box. I now think I'll go lie down for a little while.;)

YIKES!!!! Just what you need one day before you leave! :scared1: I'm glad you found them - why would you call WL to ask about AKL?

Cammie!

Whew! I think I'd need to lay down too!

OK, now I know this is probably supposed to be a Green Bay smiley - but it fits so perfectly for Cammie, Tammie and Pam!!!!
6.gif

:rotfl2: I'm going to get started tomorrow!

Thanks for the smiles with the smilies this morning! I needed that!

I am having a rough one. My Mom added to my already stressed out brain with some other stuff (too much to go into, really bad timing) but now I am thinking...where are the meds!

Everything ALWAYS works out but for now I am out of my mind.
My monthly friend arrived too and it is when my anxiety is at a peak so I can't wait for this all to pass.

Cammie, I would have passed out!!! Thank God it was OK!!!!!!! I would have been so sad with the ending of 6th grade myself. I get very upset about all that kind of stuff and DO NOT do well with change.

Kara, what would we do without you! You are such a wealth of information.

HI Tammie!!! I think I might be sending out the Arbonne email I talked to you about to maybe get that ball rolling. Not to mention the amount of stuff I can sell on Ebay. I have to make some changes!!!

Hey Debbie! Hang in there - you'll feel better next week! Email me next week, and I can give you a call before I leave!

You girls are too funny.

Well CBR was Mike's choice I would like the smaller resort and I will request a corner room near the pool POFQ is just the best.

Well Tabitha started collecting Pins to trade while we are down there she is just too excited. We scored a monorail pin for $2 so great. I also made a test shirt for her and she started wearing it already.

Cammie that is always my biggest fear I call 7 days before 3 days and then 24 hours. It is just too much stress.

Kara- Poor Ally and her little teeth.

I always thought CBR would be so fun! We are doing "resort hopper" ADRs in March, so we can check out the resorts we haven't seen. Have you eaten at Shutters?

Hiya all,

Oh Debbie - you do sound down ... wish I could give a big hug, but those few thousand miles kind of get in the way so can only send some...

I get that way too during that awful time of the month, then if anything else happens it feels like me against the world - just remember you are not alone!!
I do hope things start going well soon.....

we have school fair/fete/whatever here tomorrow and it is going to rain..... I can't raise the enthusiasm to go - especially if it is raining, but as a midday supervisor(we used to call them dinner ladies!!) I have to help run a stall.. so lets hope the rain holds off between 1.30 and 2 pm here - my slot (selfish huh) .... I imagine you lot across the pond will just about be getting up then...

DD7 will be doing her country dancing display if it is dry... so fingers crossed - and I don't know why I say that, I loath superstitious claptrap, hey ho... whether you are over there or over here I think it is just one of THOSE days.....

Tessa

Hello Dinner Lady! :goodvibes I hope you have a nice sunny day! What are you doing at your stall? We call them "booths" - a stall is where we put the horses in the barn! I just love these funny differences in our language!
Would you all believe my DD is sick! :scared1: he had Strep and finished the Amoxicillin on Wed. then yesterday afternoon she hardly ate anything. We drove out to MILs to drop the dogs off and her cheeks were red. I didn't think anything of it because MIL keeps her house at 81..we keep ours at 70. I thought she as just hot, but she was sleepy too. I had a feeling it was the Strep and not viral because she didn't have the sniffles and her throat was hurting.

Took her in this a.m. Throat, really red..didn't even test her. Said when the antibitotics are stopped that 1-2 days after the throat gets red again she needs a stronger antibiotic. Phew! Glad we got that in her now! Except it Cednifir..which gives her diarrhea after she's been on it. Although I am told if she eats cultured yogurt it will help with that.

Some of you may recall (I know Debbie remembers) that last year DD came down with a fever 2 hrs before we left for the airport!! She was sick for 2 days, then me, then my other DD. Luckily..this time we had an extra day or two!!

OH! I can't believe DD is so sick! I'm glad you got some anti-biotics. I hope she feels good on your trip. Here's PD for good health for all of you!
and have a wonderful trip!!! :hyper:

I'm now trying to color-coordinate mine and Lauren's outfits. I really think we'll probably go through two a day. It's finally starting to feel real!:cool1:

I can't believe you are just now figuring out Lauren's stuff! :goodvibes What kind of control freak are you? Are you a POSER? :rotfl2: I just made a list today, but Lindsay had a list for a week, and has everything neatly in ziploc bags since 2 days ago! :thumbsup2 You'll forget about your end of school funk when you get on that plane!!!

Kara...Thanks for the Ziti recipe! It looks yummy. Chicken broth? I never would have thought! Skink...poisonous..gives me the heebie jebbies just thinking about it!!

Cammie..yep...all packed. You? Good thing you got the DVC in the divorce! I wouldn't have given that one up either ;) . We own at BCV and also VWL. I think you'll like SW. They have great customer service. Boarding isn't that bad. A MAJOR tip..be on the computer about 10 mins. before you do online check in. Type in your conf. # and name and be ready RIGHT at the 24 hour mark. I just checked in a few minutes ago and got Boarding passes A16, A17, A18, & A19. So after business class boards Me and the 3 girls will board. I don't think we could have gotten any better. As for DH..well we run into this every year...because he has a generic, regular run of the mill name he always has to check in at the airport for more security screening. I mean he works for the govn't with a sec. clearance why is he even on that stupid list? I think Sen. John Warner (R, Va) is even on the list! Anyway he'll end up with a C Pass but I am saving him a seat, hopefully. If it was a roundtrip we wouldn't have to do it on the way back, but I booked 2 one way tickets (cheaper) and we are flying into Tampa and out of Orlando.

You should be ok as long as you both get A passes. B maybe too. I have read that sometimes people wait 15-20 mins after the 24 hr mark and get B passes so be ready!!

We are leaving here at 12:00 and getting to Dulles Airport and then our flight leaves at 4:50pm. Staying in Tampa for the night then driving to WDW in the a.m. I don't know if you ever flew into Tampa, but it's a great alternative to MCO and waaaaaayyyyyy less crowded. The drive is pretty quick too..not bad at all.

Anyone with advice feel free to chime in!!!! Should I do Tomorrowland and then Frontierland and then Fantasyland or Tomorrowland, Fantasyland and then Frontierland? We almost always do Adventureland last.

Oh, you are all packed! You must be so excited!!!! :dance3: I think with DD4 being small, you should go to Fantasyland first, because Peter Pan and Dumbo get impossible as soon as the park opens! Then go through the castle to Adventureland, have a Dole Whip for me, and then over to Frontierland, then over to Tomorrowland! You may want to send a runner to get FP ahead of what you want to do so you can ride one while you have a FP for a 2nd one.

BABY J! Ziplocs! You must have more Ziplocs!!!!

Hey! no on was DP tonight! I was sitting outside, enjoying the warm weather, and wishing I had a good glass of wine, and didn't think about it being Friday! Sounds like everyone was busy or something.....Debbie, step away from the Pink Fusion!

Pam - sounds like you might check in before you leave this afternoon - HAVE A MAGICAL TRIP!!!! As for Magic Kingdom? I would definitely do Fantasyland FIRST, especially with newbies, because it does fill up the quickest. Then, like Tammie said, hit HM on the way to Frontierland, then Adventureland. Really, MK can totally be done in a day and hit virtually everything. Just make wise use of your FPs and you'll be good to go! :thumbsup2

Debbie - hope you're feeling better girl! You know you can always email or post to vent. We're good listeners. :listen:

Cammie - a POSER????? :scared1: Who knew? She's not even packed yet!!!! :rotfl2: I'm sure we'll hear from you again today too!

Have a good Saturday ladies - I'm off to get my hair cut and highlighted this morning - finally! I'm trying to grow out my hair to a short bob, but it's so hard to do!!! We'll see if I end up getting it chopped again today.....

YIKES!!!! Just what you need one day before you leave! :scared1: I'm glad you found them - why would you call WL to ask about AKL?

That's EXACTLY what I said! DUH!

Well, little Miss Fashion Diva didn't want me pulling things from her wardrobe this week; afterall, it was the last week of school and seeing all the boys that she has been crushing on all year. She needed to look good all week!

I, on the other hand, have about twenty outfits packed in my suitcase. Way too many, I know; but once I get Lauren's stuff figured out, I'll narrow down what I'm wearing. I have three possible outfits to wear to each park each day - . We'll have fun tonite figuring this out; Amanda goes with her dad this afternoon; we'll get our nails done, then come home and have a fashion show!

Cammie - a POSER????? :scared1: Who knew? She's not even packed yet!!!! :rotfl2: I'm sure we'll hear from you again today too!

Hey - my carry-on bag and quart-sized ziplocs have been packed for a week!

Ok - so I'm going to now go and open up my two check-in screens for SWA; want to be ready to get my boarding assignments at exactly 10:05. I'll let you know how I do!

WARNING: RANT AHEAD...

Hey..good morning everyone!!!

What a crazy 24 hrs!! DH decides he wants to play basketball during his lunch with guys from work yesterday. You can guess where I am going with this. :rolleyes1 He hasn't played basketball in ohhhhh......at least 17 yrs. When he called me at home he said he got a black eye and pulled at muscle. Didn't think too much of it. He went straight from work to DD12's softball games. Gets home at 9pm hunched over (can't stand up straight) and has the black & blue eye WITH a small gash.

Then this am he gets up out of bed and then lays back down and starts moaning, sweating..I'm like what are you doing? What are you doing? Well, he passed out. I'm like what did you eat for dinner? Potato salad and 2 granola bars. What?!!!!:scared1: At least I know why he passed out. DH has SUPER metabolism. He is thin, but muscular. It's very hard for him to gain weight and he eats like a horse..twice as much as me. I think I gain all the weight for him.

So I shipped him off to the Urgent Care Clinic hoping they give him something. I can't imagine him doing all that walking, swimming, hauling the heavy luggage, etc. when he can't even stand up totally straight. So I wonder if I need to wheel him, DD4 in the stroller (just for the long walks) and all the luggage.? :confused3 Don't want him to injure himself soo bad that he can't walk at all. :furious:

While I feel bad for him..I am soo hoppin' :furious: :furious: Of all times to play basketball he had to do it the day before we leave for Disney.

Now also..our neighbors who moved away 3 yrs ago..popped in last night at 8:30pm. Well the little girls (now 12 and 9). We were super glad to see them since we haven't since they moved, but I had to get up super early this am to go over all the stuff we packed an dget the things ready DH was SUPPOSED to get ready and lug all the stuff downstairs, change garbages. So the parents said they'd be by today to chat with us. We told them..we are leaving at 12:00 no later so come by before then. These people are famous for coming last minute. They are funny and nice, but kind of rude as well. I'm cutting this short because I don't want to start this vacation off any worse than it already is. But...I hope they don't show!!!! I hope DH gets some strong pain meds or something, that no one else gets Strep, and the flight is a smooth and safe one.

Please say a small little prayer. Can you tell I am panicing?

Cammie all ready to go? On SW try about 2 mins. before the time because their clock might be off a few mins. compared to yours.

Bye everyone!!!! Sorry for the vent!!! I just got so :furious: with DH for being so stupid.

Oh Pam - sorry you're vacation is getting off to a rough start! But take a breath and remember - no matter what happens, you WILL be in Disney tomorrow. Here's some :pixiedust: hoping that everyone is feeling 100% once you get there and that those last minute visitors don't show up!

I did my online check in. I had both windows open and my cursor on the right space; once my computer's clock turned 10:05, I clicked - got the screen telling my I'm too early!:headache: Went back and tried it again and it went through - we both got boarding group A, #s 45 &47. I'm so relieved! I don't care where in the plane we sit, just want to be together. Since we're boarding in "A" group, I'm thinking that means we should be all set!

I'll be back later with my status reports.

Pam - Have a safe trip; it will all be ok!

 Yay on the A Boarding passes!!!!! You're good to go now. I think you still would have been ok with B ones, but now you defintely know you can sit together.

DH called. It was a pulled muscle. So they prescribed him several pain relievers and a muscle relaxer. Phew!!

I have to turn off the computer so take care everyone!!

Cam..have a safe trip..and hope to meet you!!!

Pam

Glad to hear it's just a pulled muscle. At least you got some good drugs out of this!

Hope to see you down there Pam!

Pam! I'm so sorry you had all that last minute stuff happening! Isn't that how it always goes? I hope DH feels good, and you get out right on time!

Cammie, good job getting the boarding Passes! Why are they so special that they don't assign seats? Is it that much cheaper?

I have to :laundy: and pack today. I'm skipping the Air Show to get my work stuff in order for the week, too! I have such a busy week coming up! It will go by fast, though. I feel like I'll go to bed on Sunday and wake up and it will be Friday! :yay:

Evey YEAR i GET OLDER i AM STARTING TOO RESENT aunt Flo MORE AND MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!

JILLIAN...I AM GOING TO PROBABLY SOUND SO TERRIBLE RIGHT NOW BUT I DON'T KNOW WHO Tabitha IS. I AM SO SORRY!

Tabitha is my Sister:lovestruc I just love her so darn much. She is 13 years younger than me and when my parents had to cancel out on Disney Mike and I decided to take her with us anyway. She is just the sweetest Monkey (her nickname) in the whole world.

Anyone want a good (and easy!) baked ziti recipe???
13.gif

That sounds yummy I will have to try that.

Pam - My thoughts are that the rides in Fantasyland seem to get soooo crowded so quickly. Dumbo has NO FP so you should try to get that in during the EMH. :lmao:
Kara I will off to do the same thing around 4pm, but I will be chopping my hair it grows so fast that my aunt cuts is every 4 weeks just so I can maintain it.

Well Happy Weekend everyone. Nana has Badookie today and so I am off to shower and head to the Disney store and Target. Reminder Disney store is having there Summer Sale. WOO HOO. I am going to stock up on beach towels and T Shirts for our trip. Also I have to clean the house a little bit. Mike is on his I work why isn't the house clean that is your job rant:furious: I am over it. Also since I am now better I have gotten the okay to go on Jenny Craig from the Doctor so Woo Hoo

Hiya all ,

rain held off for the fete/fair/whatever - thank goodness, raining now though.... our stall/booth was a "bust a balloon" one - you pay your 25p (50cents ish) choose your balloon and burst it with a pencil - inside is a ticket with a number on - if it ends in a 5 you win a prize. The prizes were donated by parents etc, so everything from a ball to a scooter to a joke shop cockroach... If little kids didn't win they got a sweet(bit of candy). We use the money gained for buying lunchtime games and toys - especially for wet play. Great fun...

DD7 dancing was great too, they held it indoors as the grass was slippery.

Anyhow, got to go cook for the in-laws, after a great day...

Tessa

OMG I can not believe Pam is leaving and Cammie tomorrow. I will have to live vicariously through you guys for now. MK would be just the cure for my doggie downer days!

Have fun! Glad you got your boarding passes in "A". Sorry Amanda was a little down. She will be fine though!

I'm now trying to color-coordinate mine and Lauren's outfits. I really think we'll probably go through two a day. It's finally starting to feel real!
I've been in a funk today. I just get down when the school year ends - smack of reality of how quickly time is flying.:( Amanda didn't have the best day either.) We were invited to a friend's of Lauren's house for a pool party to celebrate the end of school. I couldn't stay because Amanda was not doing so great - so I let Lauren stay and have her fun, and I took Amanda home and put her to bed. I swear she's doing this to me on purpose - she needs to throw a little "worry" my way before I go. She's doing fine now; but this all just makes me realize how much I'm really looking forward to getting away and relaxing. And then I feel bad about that!:headache: I swear, it's a vicious cycle!

I am this way too about time flying by! It really upsets me.

So, Pam,what are your priorities at rope drop at MK? For us, we MUST do Dumbo; but I think we'll see about a FP for Peter Pan, then ride Dumbo. If there's no line at Peter Pan, we'll jump on. We also want to make sure we get to Mickey's Philharmonic and IASW. I just want to be ready to scoot over to Frontierland when the park opens at 9 so we can get to SplashMtn. and BTMRR; also hoping to do HM, POTC, and Jungle Cruise. Yikes - it's going to be crazy!:faint:

I wish I was going with you! So fun!

Anyone with advice feel free to chime in!!!! Should I do Tomorrowland and then Frontierland and then Fantasyland or Tomorrowland, Fantasyland and then Frontierland? We almost always do Adventureland last.

Fantasyland first and like Cammie said definitely get a fast pass for PPF. That's one of our favorites!!!! I am sure I am too late here though!

I would be so......mad I would be seeing stars:furious:!!! I hope it all turned out OK in the end. Thank God for drugs except it might feel like you are traveling with a drunk for a few days!
:rotfl2:

Have a good one girls! Thanks for always being there!

Kara..your smileys are awesome! Cracking me up!:rotfl2: Couldn't you find a depressed, hormonal, anxious ridden, crazy smiley for me??????:confused3
Jillian...have a nice haircut.
Tammie...sent a real casual email out last night.
Tessa...glad the rain held out.
Laura...have fun at the lake!

Laura...do I not have your email??? I can't find it but I feel like I have emailed you before? Or is it Renee's I am missing? My brain hurts....

I don't mind if you don't want to share it, it's just I thought I had emailed you in the past.

Anyone else not getting my emails?

It's just I have had to talk about a couple things off the board so I have just been emailing the info.
Just let me know.

I'm still alive!!!!

Honestly I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, I've just been in softball championship zone...:faint: Believe it or not but my DD8's team won 2nd place!!! :yay: DD8's first year! I can't believe it! Honestly it was so frickin hot out there today I was thankful that they didn't have to play a second game at 3pm for first place. I've pretty much been at playoff games every night this week and finally the softball madness is over. Don't get me wrong I love DD8 and her devotion to play, but I'm glad it's over.

Now it's off to plan her birthday party for tomorrow - DD8 --- DD9!:scared1: It's a rollerskating party, so that should be exciting all by itself. I picked up some cool things for the goody bags over at iParty so we're good!

I"m going to grill some burgers for dinner and sit down with a good book and relax while the girls watch CAMP ROCK for the twentith time.

Oooh burgers and Camp Rock seem heavenly!

LOVED it BTW! Those Jonas Brothers are so sweet!

Hello, I thought I just found this thread and thought I would share my worries with some one other than my DH. When I try and talk to him about it, he just calls me crazy. Our trip is booked for December 7-14, 2008. At first it was booked for a MK view room at the Poly, but I changed it to the WL. We stayed at WL on our last trip, and I just didn't want to be at WDW at Christmas time and not be there. I had months of sleepless nights before I changed it. Now I am worrying about booking the Candlelight Preocessional package. The only two nights on our trip that we have available to go is either the 12th or the 13th. I have no interest in the narrator on the 12th, but the 13th is just listed as TBA. I just don't know if I should go ahead and get up early on Monday and get a ressie for it or not. What if they announce the narrator and I just don't like them? My DH is already telling me that he really doesn't want to go anyway. If we had been there while Edward James Olmos was there, he would probably wait in line all day to get in. (He loves Battlestar Galactica.) He tell me that I am worrying over nothing, but worrying about it has kept me up late worrying about it. If only Disney would hurry up and change that TBA to an actual name.
