Oh! You guys posted a bunch while I was writing my book! I'll have to go back and look! ::yes::

Tammie - how do you get your PTR link to have your own title on it? I just updated mine but I have no clue how to do that!

Anyone know how to get a tick out of a dog? :confused3 Yeah, did I mention we have tons of ticks down here too? :crazy2: Well, there goes my job with the Florida Tourism Board cause Cammie's gonna tell on me! :rotfl: Jeff found a little bump on Bucky last night but we couldn't get him in good light to really check it out (and of course our el cheapo flashlight doesn't work anymore!), so I'm gonna get a new flashlight today and check it out better.

Kara - I don't know EXACTLY how to get your report title in your sig.; but I know you have to click on the little earth-looking icon when you get to your "edit signature" screen.

Actually, that's a good way to do it and it's free. Maybe that's what we should be doing too.

I do like Coach, and Dooney & Bourke, and recently Vera Bradley as well. Mostly Coach & Dooney. I have enough Donney's for now. I've moved on to Coach. Only have 2 so far. I have got 3 25% coupons and argue with myself whether I should by anything. I am a tote size bag lover. So I like all the big bags (read: cost more).

I see girls around here 12-13 carrying around Dooney & also Coach bags. There's a lot of military around here so they may get it at the exchange or there's also alot of pretty wealthy people who live here and commute to DC which is an hour away. I haven't got my DD one yet..trying to hold off until she's in high school, if possible. Right now she's liking Vera Bradley. So I'm saving $$ on that right now. DD has more of a shoe addiction than a purse addiction. Forgot to PM you..will do so soon.
I only buy at the outlet and only when there is a sale. I have given the wristlets to my Sisters 13 and 8 for birthdays when they are on sale they come down to 25 a piece. I also will not pay over 200 for one.
Jillian....thanks for the review on Yachtsman. It sounds good and it's right at the BC too. Sorry to hear you and your Badookie are under the weather. Hope you are feeling better soon.

I am feeling a bit better today and so is Badookie thank you!

Poor Badookie! What a bummer! Nothing is worse then when the babies are sick:hug:

He has been teething since he was 3 months old. They call him a chronic teether. Your munchkins are so cute. I love the pics they came out great. It seems like you had a blast.

Thanks girls i knew i could count on you to help me plan :thumbsup2
Again more questions heehee ... How do i find out if i have a code attached to my name? Not sure if i can register on disney.com because of being in the u.k but i will try .. We are planning to stay at the beginning of the trip for Chloe's b'day, at the moment i am sort of looking at arriving 30th Jan (2010) and staying on site till the 3rd .. her b'day is the 2nd Feb .. so 4 nights, it will be me and Chloe and my parents .. possibly brother, gf and her dd .... I have been to 2 of the hotel's briefly ... Animal kingdom lodge as friends were staying so we went and visited and used pool etc and chloe loved it .. and the contemporary but only for breakie :) Ok also as much info as poss on dining plan's too and the best way to do it all? Can you get code's from anywhere? Sorry it's just i won't be paying for much of the trip so i want to save my folks as much as i can by doing as much research as poss :thumbsup2 Ooh also any idea on what the weather is like at that time of year??

Anyway thanks again girls

Debbie .. welcome back .. loving the pics looks beautiful, where abouts was it that you went i can't remember?? (sorry)

Cammie you must be sooo excited now, it's so nearly here .. i hope you both have a fantasticly amazing time

Big hello to everyone else :wave2:

We Love the dining plan and the only reason we get it is so that everything is paid for and I don't have to worry about budgeting it out. We like to have a sit down meal to get away from the park for an hour or so. Also there are just so many CS meals I can eat before I am craving a salad or fruit. Now that Badookie is around we chose alot of buffets.

Good morning everybody!

Yeah - glad you're back to posting here Debbie! Thanks for the pix - your kids are soooo cute! So, in the first picture, I'm thinking "Oh look at how cute Debbie's daughter is in those "Paris Hilton"-size glasses." Then next pix - she's posing like Paris Hilton!!! Too funny!!!!:lmao:

Jillian - Hope you and Badookie are feeling better this morning! And, please, don't ever be afraid to ask questions about Amanda - I don't mind answering them at all. Honestly, what bugs me the most is the way people so obviously stare when we're out. This happens ALOT - especially at Disney. My mini-Me (Lauren) is very protective of her sister and when she notices people staring will deliberately place herself in front of her sister so they can't look at her. The biggest culprits of this are, believe it or not, adults. The kids, god bless them, will usually stare but then always come over and ask questions: "What's her name? What's wrong with her? Can she say hi?" I think it's great that want to ask questions - a little knowledge never hurt anybody!

Cammie I just love kids they are so great. It is ashame adults are the way they are. Lauren is such a great sister and you are an amazing mother. I can't wait to meet all of you in Nov.

Pam - got your pm with your cell#. You have mine right? I think we should aim for the MK day; that way, if for some reason we can't make that work, we'll have the next day at the resort to find you.

I, too, get those Coach coupons - once about every quarter. I feel that, if I use them, I'll keep getting them (and that's how I justify it). I just bought the cell phone charm/strap for Lauren; with the coupon, it was $25. I have no business being this into Coach - it's the only bag I carry. And it's funny, I've ALWAYS been into it. I have bags back from the 80s when I was working in NYC! Alot of girls in Lauren's grade are carrying them around but some of them may be knock-offs ..... who knows?

Hi Tammie, Kara, Erin, Renee, Laura, Tessa, Keahi, Lisa, and Tina!

Well, Lauren's Tevas are in; so I'll be running down the mall to pick them up. I think I'm now all set -- now it's on to packing! I'm so excited to be going! Lauren and I were watching Jon & Kate plus 8 last nite; they were showing video of their honeymoon at Disney - I started to get teary-eyed! I can't wait to be there!!!!!!:hyper:

Good Morning All!

Debbie - First of all love the pics!!! Keep em coming! YOur DD is such a poser!!! I love love love the one of your DD looking into the sunset!!! Can you believe we've lived here nearly 9 months now and only been to the beach twice??? And we only live 30-40 minutes away!

As for Coach bags, I do so want one! I'm a handbag and shoe addict. Love me some Vera, but no Coach yet. Jeff flips out as it is every time he sees me with a new purse. But we have a Coach outlet here in St Augustine (for anyone who has ever driven down I-95 to Disney, you've seen the big outlets in St A's!). I've already passed on my shoe addiction to Ally, and she's starting to get into handbags. Funny story - when we bought this house we brought Ally down to see it. I was on the phone with my girlfriend and Ally asked to speak to her. Next thing I hear is "Tiffany, I'm worried about my new room..... my closet is too big..... I think I need to get more shoes!" :rotfl2: That's my girl!!!!!!

Jillian - I'm so sorry you're sick! Didn't you read the Mom Handbook? You're not allowed to be sick! :rotfl: And teething time is so rough. Hang in there!

I am starting to realize I am not allowed to be sick. Mike said to me today didn't you drop off my car payment yesterday. My comment "Yes Yes I did while I was running a temp of 102 and our son was in pain I went out and dropped off your car payment.":furious: WTH are they all that stupid? As for clothes I washed dried and folded them all I asked him to put them away and he is having a fit. "I don't know where they go." So I told him I forget how to turn on the washing machine :rotfl2: and the stove it must have just popped out of my head :lmao:

Erin - just call WDW and ask them if there is a code attached to your name. I didn't know that you couldn't register with disney.com if you're not in the States? :confused3 As for the Dining Plan, we aren't big fans of it. Mainly because it takes so much time away from the day, and you have to be so structured, or else do a lot of park hopping. We're doing it in Sept cause it's FREE, otherwise, we probably won't do it again. From then on we'll probably just go out of pocket and enjoy 2 or 3 TS meals during our trip. Although, I'm liking the DDE card idea..... Just my opinion.

Hello Keahi!!!!

Off to take Ally to Camp - back in a bit!

Keep it up with the "bug" pictures and I just may have to report you to the Florida Tourism council - you are NOT good for business!
:rotfl2:

Put vaseline on the area where the tick is it will smother it and it will start to come out from under the skin then you will have to remove it with a tweezer making sure you get the head.

These are the coach bags I have

I have this except all black leather

I also have a large Spring green with a buckle that I just LOVE

I'm glad you're feeling better! Yes, I have heard vaseline - may have to try that tonight! I would think he'd be scratching at the spot if it were a tick, and I haven't noticed that, so hopefully it's just a burr or something.

I can't believe that your DH got upset when asked to help out while you're sick! Wait, yes I can because YES, they ARE all that stupid!!! I'm telling you, it's the mother's fault! Which is why I stress to all mothers (especially with sons) - to quote some country song (can't remember), "Mama's don't let you babies grow up to be painsinthebuttfortheirfuturewives!" :rotfl2:

Okay, I'm going to jump back in here....

Erin - While I think it increases your odds, I don't think you HAVE to be registered at Disney.com to get a code. How did you purchase your park tix for the last trip? Disney must have you in the system somehow. Another way to get your name on their potential code list - call and order the planning DVD. I would go over to the "codes" board; alot of people post how they got a code over there.

I "re-registered" for the planning DVD back in Feb. and two weeks later I was offered my first PIN code. Granted it was for the value resorts, but with the code the price came down to something like $52 per night.... I just got my second PIN code offer yesterday in the mail -- this time it was for DVC resorts (OKW or SSR) - $165 per night for a studio. Since we need at least a 1 bedroom villa, I didn't use it for our next visit at the end of Sept. BUt, hey, at least I'm getting offers....

Now, that I'm thinking about it - you could try renting points for a DVC resort. I've heard some people spending as little as $150 a night for a studio during the slower seasons. There's a board under the DVC forum that is for people looking to rent points. You can check it out to get a better idea of the process.

We're renting points for our trip from the NICEST man from the DVC Forums. As Tammie mentioned, though, you have to be careful. I was told by others to check the person's join date and number of posts. There's no guarentee that they are legimate, but you can get a better idea of the person you're renting from if they are a long term DISer. This will be our second time renting points and so far everything is great. Plus the money savings can't be beat !!!!:thumbsup2

Ok, I think you're going to have to become our resident expert in point renting! I'm thinking if I want to make a tradition of taking Lauren on a special trip each year, on top of our annual trip, I may need to rent some pts. Right now, I'm banking and borrowing but I know it's going to catch up with me. It would be nice to get a referral for a person that someone you know has done business with!

Where are you staying in Sept., Keahi?

We're renting points for a 1 bedroom villa at Old Key West. We love the spaciousness of the rooms at OKW. The in-room washer and dryer is a bonus, too -- that way we don't have to pack a lot of clothes -- especially these days when airlines charge extra for luggage...:headache:

OKW was the first DVC resort we stayed in and we loved it! I agree - it's by far the most spacious of all the DVC resorts. Their 1 bdrm. villas are HUGE compared to the BW!

Hi Girls! Glad you liked my pix! My kids are a handful these days! Here are some more if you don't mind induldging me....

Kara- Yes I agree it is the mothers fault. Mike's mother does everything for him and his father and I mean everything. He apologized today and actually put away the laundry while I was a the organic food store.

I just got a code in the mail today too. It was for a value at 52/night it says to book by 9/27 I am going to call after Badookie goes to bed to see if I can get a better deal for our trip in Nov.

Debbie so cute I love the one of them head to head looking into the horizon.

Hope everyone had a good day. I can't believe how soon you two are leaving! And then Kara and Tammie too, right! Wow! I am jealous! I am so excited for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The zoo was real fun today. Our weather has been really nice. 70's and sunny! I so......love summer!

Jillian...good luck with that code! Were there dates listed that you had to use it during?

BTW My DH is the same way!!! It is so annoying and the only thing I think he has ever even changed was I asked him if before he throws his dirty laundry in the basket (I laughed just saying that since it never ever makes it into the basket....sometimes next to the basket but NEVER in it) that he turn the socks and Teeshirts right side out instead of inside out and that does happen on occasion! It sounds really trivial but it does make things a little easier come laundry time. He is a pain in the butt!!! I love him but boy there are so many times I could just kill him!

Erin.... we were in Naples, Florida. It is in southern Florida (very tropical weather). Love it there. The pix are from the sunset at the beach and the sunset cruise.

Debbie --

I just noticed the dates on your ticker... Looks like I'm going to miss you and Kara by a couple of days -- we arrive in Orlando on 9/27. :( Boo.

Bummer!!! That stinks!!!!!

Jillian...you do know that we are going to have to razz you when we see you are ovulating! You do know this group's sense of humor, right?

I know I know but this is the only place I look every single day so it was a good place to add a reminder. Remember right now I am just monitering my cycle to make sure I am on schedule we will not start trying until AFTER disney. So Nov. or Dec.

Jeff takes everything off inside out, so it gets washed inside out, so guess what? It gets folded inside out! :rotfl2: And he has the nerve to get mad at ME? :confused3

And loving the pics! I so love the shots of them from the back - looks so peaceful.... And the sunset cruise... Ahhhhh!

Heh heh heh! Debbie is right!

Just ran to the mall and OMG! All I wanted to do was return the drapes to JCP and pick up some wall plug ins from Yankee Candle and Bath & Body Works but I was shocked at the kids there! I mean, I don't exactly live in a cave, but what are parents thinking, letting their kids leave home dressed like that??? I swear, I had to get out of there for fear of what Ally would see! It's a different world, the Orange Park Mall!!!!! That was only my 2nd or 3rd time in that mall and I will definitely avoid it if at all possible! Nasty!

OK, off to read and hit the hay early - busy week so far at work, I haven't been able to get any housework done! :lmao:

I'm not sure who is next after Cammie and Tammie (I STILL love saying that!). Debbie, you and I are September, and just missing Keahi?

BTW, Keahi, how do you pronounce your name? I love seeing "aloha" in all your posts - makes me feel so tropical!

Here are a couple more. I think I only have a handful of pix with me in them...oh well.
