Hello,

I am predicting the first dates of MNSSHP next year will be
- Friday 14th August
- Sunday 16th August
- Tuesday 18th August.

Anyone think differently?

Nobody can truly know until Disney announces party dates. Food and Wine dates changed greatly in 2024 so since then I'm less comfortable saying what they've done in the past hints towards what they will do in the future.

When MNSSHP came back in 2022 it started on the second Friday of the month. This year it switched to the third Friday but I agree that it will probably start on the 14th.

Any guesses as to what nights they will be? Like are they always on Mondays or Saturdays or whatever?

We have gone in August the last three years. This (2025) was the first year they did Sunday parties in August. Before (2024) it was Fridays and Tuesdays in August, then Sundays added in September. The change was to give an extra full week of the new starlight parade.

No way to know if they will stick with three days in August starting on the 14th, or go with the earliest ever start (to my knowledge) on Aug 7 with two parties a week. Or rake in even more money with three parties a week starting Aug 7. My travel plans are hoping for a Sunday party in August. 🤞

We're hoping to attend MNSSHP for the first time this fall.

For 2025, it appears they started selling tickets in May. So when were the dates announced? I assume they announced the dates prior to the day they went on sale, right?

I see from a previous post that parties are typically Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. But I also noticed on the official 2025 thread that there was no party on October 12th (Sunday of the holiday weekend) last year.

So my concern is that we are planning to be there over the holiday weekend this year. If there's only a party on Friday the 9th of October this year and not on the weekend (Sat the 10th or Sun the 11th), we won't be able to be there when a party is occurring. Is the Sunday on that holiday weekend always omitted from the party schedule?

I see that there WAS a party on the Monday holiday (October 13th) last year. Is it usual for there to always be a party on the Monday federal holiday that week instead of on Sunday like other weeks? If so, maybe we can attend on the Monday if we're able to get Tuesday off to make it a travel day.

I knew that it was going to be stressful trying to get party tickets, but now I've realized we have the additional stress of worrying that there won't even BE a party on any of the days we can be there. Ugh.

Last year during our week there were FOUR parties! Not cool.
