Hi Ladies! I can't believe how many pages you posted in 2 days! I was almost caught up last night at 9 pages - I had clicked on the " and I was working my way through, all ready to post - and then I fell asleep! You gals had so much fun with DP last night! I wish I was there - my open house was a bust - it was a fund raiser for RElay for Life, and only 3 gals showed up. I could have been with my peeps here!

Today, I went to a scrapbooking retreat with Lindsay - we had alot of fun, and I got 5 whole pages done in 6 hours - that's pretty good for me - it takes me a long time to figure out what I want to do, and then I always put my page on upside down or something and have to pull it off, etc. I'm pretty happy with what I did.

Kara, when will you get your book from photopass? You will share, right?

Debbie and Kara - I missed the part about the bushes - why will you be in the bushes?

Debbie - thanks for all of the pics - lovin' them!

Cammie - my DSIS just went on that very same vacation you were describing with your ex! Girlfriend on the phone and everything. She is now working on the divorce - he took the motorhome to a friends. I hope she sticks to her guns this time. (not literally! )

As for men - men are pigs, mostly - but I believe there are good ones out there - and someone who will stick with you in the hard times won't be scared of your girls! You'll meet someone when you least expect it! Maybe at Disney!

Kara - sorry about the poop. I hope tonight goes better, and that Ally feels better!

Well, I'm way behind on a bajillion threads, so I'd better go check in with "The others". Oh, by the way our Tivo wasn't working on Thursday for Lost, so we watched it on line tonight! Lots to think about for next season - I hope we don't have to wait 18 months like last time.

hi there. More sirens last night. It is going to be an interesting summer. I was outside and saw a wall cloud with rotation! Yikes! Nothing dropped down but still scary. They said it wasn't an actual tornado but a cold spout. Still close enough for me. We've dodged a lot of storms I figure it is only a matter of time before my trees get hit. Tim wants to take them down but it would be $2000+ to have them taken down. Tim wants to do it himself but they are over 50 ft tall. They are nasty cottonwoods. They drop these awful sticky pods in the spring. I'm want to let them be. I could that $$ on other things like WDW I'm winning so far.

Don't think I will make to SATC. I'll have to wait for the DVD. Cammie sorry to hear those "people" were so rude. Now those would be considered Creepy Internet Folks.

Off to work. Take care everyone.. My goal at lunch is to get the TR done.

Hi girls! Back from Sex and the City movie - so good. Jillian - you were right! Tissues are needed! Very good and very funny! I've decided, though, that I think I need a man. Lauren has been bugging me for a long time to go on Match.com - I think it's embarassing. But now I'm having second thoughts. Oh well! Do any of you guys know of any available men?

A lot of people I know have used Match.com and Eharmony. I have used both and when I dated found great men on Eharmony. I just wasn't ready for a relationship (came out of a 5 year one) ,but I found great friends who were perfect for me and I am glad that I wasn't ready because that is when I found Mike. We worked together for 2 years before we even went out as friends. I would complain to him about the A**hole guys I was meeting (outside of those websites) and about my EX. When we finally got together we dated 2 months before buying our house 6 months to getting engaged and 1.5 years before we said "I Do" and 3 months later Badookie was born.
My Point is men are not that bad. My previous relationship was like a divorce for me we lived together same bank accounts engaged I co signed his car and one day we realized (after he burned thru all the $ in our BA) we just didn't love each other anymore. Now I have Mike and as much as we disagree or whatever over the baby money blah blah blah I know it's just worth it. You WILL find someone who will LOVE all three of you. It may take time but it is worth it once you find it.

Okay I am done being a sap.


I am making my ADR's today I can wait no longer. I have tried but oh well plans will have to be made and park hoping will have to be done.

I am also making BBB plans for Tabitha today. I went out yesterday and bought her a pink suede travelon bag. So Cute!!! She found it in the car and asked if I could get her one or could she have that one. I said it was for her so much for surprises. By the way she is already packing 5 months away.


Okay off to spend time with Mike he just got off a 24 hour shift and will be asleep in 20 mins.

I better go clean. My house is ALWAYS a mess. I NEVER feel like it looks nice. I always feel like one or two rooms look nice but NEVER the whole house at once. I am afraid when I go on this upcoming trip my DH is just going to throw it all out!

Tammie - Great to be back but lets see how long it lasts. I have been waking up earlier than DD lately. Glad your scrapbooking went well.

Debbie - That monorail magnet sounds cool. Looks like I missed you this morning.

Kara - Turks and Caicos supposedly has the best Beaches hotel. They are adding to their waterpark and Italian village and it looks awesome. I think it is the most expensive Beaches resort though.

Cammie - My sister knows some really nice single guys with kids. There are nice guys out there who aren't married. I wouldn't know where to look though. My sister knows the one guy through friends and the other from her son's cub scout group. I think his wife passed away. Really sad.

Looks like I missed "serious" talk last night!

Cammie - I agree with everyone else - your girls are your live, as well they should be. And if you're looking, you won't find him. Stop looking, live life and he'll pop up out of nowhere. Funny story - I had just gotten out of a 5 year relationship, and I was casually dating a couple of guys. Jeff's dad and my dad worked together and golfed together a couple of times a week so they introduced us - we both got summer jobs out of college at a golf course and we got to know each other. We hung out a bit, I complained about my dates, he had just gotten out of a relationship too. So we'd go out drinking together, just hanging out and became really good friends. One night we were at some sort of festival with people from Jeff's work, and he commented on how the whole festival was a "meat market" judging by the way people were dressed, etc. So a guy with him said, "and look, you've got filet mignon as your date." So what does Jeff say? "Who Kara? She's ground beef!" I've never let him live that down! But I was so not looking for a serious relationship, but he was right there. Enjoy the time with your girls, it will happen when it happens, and then it will be worth it!

That sucks about the Nov hours nasty posters. I got sucked into one that time where the chick commented that she only stayed in value resorts "when she was poor." Sometimes you can't help but take the bait! I don't understand why people want to be so nasty - especially on a DISNEY board! We should be the happiest message board on earth!!!

Renee - glad to hear you'r getting a bit back to normal. Keep resting though and don't push it or you'll be miserable by Wed!

Jillian - Your hubby is a firefigher/medic isn't he?

Lisa - yeah, I saw the prices for Beaches in Turks and Caicos, which is why I'm sure we'll never go! Ally is just now at a great age to go to a family all inclusive resort. She'd get along great in the kids camps now. Being an only child sucks for her sometimes right about now. But she's very outgoing so she wouldn't be shy at all about meeting new kids in those kids only groups. And it would allow us some time to relax without entertaining her. When we go to Jamaica, we get "sand gravity" we never go on excursions or anyting. Up at sunrise and on the beach, then around 10am (when the bar opens!) we're at the pool for the rest of the day. I go through so many books, but also get to know other people, play pool games, etc. Or I just float, all day long and come back looking like a true Jamaican!

Laura - are y'all okay up there??? This has been a horrible season for tornadoes! Today is the first day of hurricane season, and even though Jacksonville hasn't taken a direct hit since 1964 with a Cat 2 hurricane, we figure that now that we're here, we'll get smacked this year. I will be leading the evacuation though!!!!! No way will I be one of those nut jobs who "rides it out." And even though we're 30 miles from the coast, nope, I still won't be here! A named storm passes within 50 miles of Jacksonville once every 2 years though, so that is a lot of near misses!

Hey, Pam Numero Uno, Pam2, Tessa, Erin, Tammie, Debbie and everyone else out there!

Just saw Ally scratching her head and checked it out right away, sure enought, little creepy crawlies! I can't take much more! She was due for her followup treatment by tomorrow, so I went ahead and did it now. I guess these are the ones that hatched that the eggs weren't killed last week with the treatment. But I combed out about 10 live (well, dead now) bugs. And this treatment just does nothing to get the eggs out. I literally sit with her head in my lap and pull them out by hand - like a couple of monkeys! But this is getting so frustrating. And when I called the school nurse to express my concerns, she said she would send out a letter to all parents at school to check their children. But Ally never brought home a letter. Just more fuel for my fire over this stupid school! Just 2 more days until summer!

Oh, rocket scientist Jeff stepped on a nail yesterday. He screamed and freaked out right away. Shaking an everything - really freaked him out. But do you think he would go get a tetanus shot? Heck no! He was limping around all night last night ("I'm find - it wasn't rusty") and today he's suddenly better. He was breaking down the crate that our aquarium was packed in - we donated it to the nature center here at our neighborhood. Well he kept throwing the board with the nails sticking up, and backed right onto one with his crocs on. Yeah, crocs don't provide much protection!

It is so flaming hot here right now - Jeff said he thinks God checked the calendar, saw that it was Memorial Day and decided to flip the switch. Upper 80's with high humidity already! Yuck!

And Debbie, I told jeff about your monorail magnet when you first posted that! I think it's hysterical!
