Tammie so glad Jim is OK and so sorry you are having some rough days! I feel for you! I have often said that I am too old for the little ones and even though I live with my parents I try as little as possible to have them watch the kids on their own. I just know how exhausting it must be!!!! People can't figure out why I don't just go back to work because of our living situation but I don't want to leave Matthew with my Mom all the time at this point because of what you are saying. It's hard. I just hope they appreciate you!!!!!!!

Kara..I did like the TRIVIA. I might need to read that book (if I ever found time to read).
Cammie...WOW! How exciting to have the trip right around the corner!

Thanks Debbie - it really makes me feel old, but they do wear me out. I realized today that poor Londynn is getting her molars - it's hurting in her ears - today she had to be held all day and slept for 4 hours of it - was up all night. No wonder she's been so fussy. Made me feel guilty.

tammie my heart goes out to you. That is a tough situation to be in. I can see if from the other side too. Always begging for someone to watch the kids. Keep your chin up. I just wish we all lived closer so I could help. Remember we're here for you

Life is still chaotic. I'm slowly getting on top of it. I haven't added any new obilgations. Just working thru the ones I already have. Tim is almost back to work full time at his client sites. Driving is a bit exhusting. It is amazing to think he is back after 3 weeks. Yikes. Only sad news is my sis is leaving on Sat and I have really gotten used to her being her to watch the girls.

Thanks for that reminder, Laura. I don't want them to always feel like they are a burden to us. The other day, I said something about doing whatever we could to get them through school, and Lindsay said something about , well you know we're so determined we would have done it no matter what. What?

I'm glad Tim is improving. I'm sure you'll miss your Sis.

Hi guys! Lauren had off today (ANOTHER Jewish holiday), so we were out for most of the day: haircut, shopping, friends -- which just equals more money being spent. UGH!

Tammie - Hang in there! I feel so bad for the situation you're in. Like Debbie said - I hope you're appreciated and they show it!

As for the rest of you --- GET FREAKIN' BETTER!!!!! I'm afraid to come on this thread these days - it seems one person gets sick, we all get sick. I've got a vacation coming up in less than a month - I can't get sick too! Seriously, I hope you all feel better real soon! I miss everyone being around here!

I'm having some serious computer issues. Called Dell yesterday and after an hour of some dude working on my computer remotely, he told me that I had a virus or spyware but that he got rid of it. Not an hour later I had the same popups and problems, and today it is so slow I can hardly stand it!!! I can't work with it this slow.

So I called Dell again and they said that it's not covered under warranty if it's a virus. Well, it was working fast and fine yesterday before dingdong worked on it!!! So I'm manually running all my Norton's and anti-spyware now. But it's miserable. If this one crashes again, my boss will be so pissed! Cause our other computers are dead too!

OK, off to the clubhouse for taco night and my beer to go!!!! Later!

Seriously, I hope you get the issues fixed. What a Pain.

Well, I worked on my puter a lot last night, then got up this morning and have been backing up the hard drive for the past hour. The thing that sucks is that this is my work computer. Yes, I use it for other stuff too, and my boss is cool with that. But I feel bad if something happens to it, ya know?

I try to move my photos onto a flash drive right after I download them, and I don't keep a bunch of crap on this hard drive. But I do have all my photo softward on here. That's really it.

I have no idea what this virus could be, but I think I'm gonna need to get on the phone with NOrton and see if they can walk me through getting rid of it.

Ally and I are so excited for tomorrow! It's weird though. Growing up in Kansas City, we had Worlds of Fun amusement park that we would go to once each summer. Then in Ohio we would go to either Cedar Point or Kings Island once each summer. And it was always a big family thing. I never would have imagined going with just one parent, or making it so casual. But I guess that was before season passes, etc. We never invested in that. So this seems kinda weird just Ally and I going to AK for the day.

Laura - glad that Tim is almost there. You must be so relieved. Is he worthless once he gets home from work though? I know that's how Jeff is when he's hurt or sick....

Tammie - glad Jim did well with his surgery. Does he have most of his mobility back? I know it's hard with the grandkids, but just think of the wonderful quality time you're getting with them. Jeff's mom used to watch Ally anytime school was out, or if she was sick and couldn't go to daycare when she was younger, whatever it might be. She had a really hard time when we moved because they don't get that chance anymore. Even though I know it was really hard on them at times....

Debbie - feeling better? Watch it or Cammie will send a hitman after you! She's got the lingo down!!!

Renee - are yours feeling better yet??? With the change of seasons I"m sure there will be a lot of sickies over the next few weeks.

Where are Jillian and Pam lately? Hope you guys are doing well!!!

Tina - where are the pics of the cushions? I wanna see cause this is something I want to try for my outdoor furniture!!!

Sorry to hear you are all going down with illness again- I've had my dose of it, so don't send it back over here!

Am seriously thinking of going out to work again - now the kids are settled at school, I've had a break and need to find something I want to do.... any recommendations, does anybody love their job?? I did managing a large-scale-computer-network support-team for 15 years and don't want to go back to that "daily grind".

Anyhow, got to go pick up the little darlings, so

Hi no not yet my course starts on Monday .. excited and scared all in 1 go!! This is the business part then we're off to college to get proper qualifications in it so we can charge more hahaha painters and decoraters make good money yayayay .. i can finally start looking to provide for my daughter properly myself!!

OMG, Cammie, I'm laughing so hard right now! Can you imagine??? How nasty!!!

I was either on chat or on the phone with Nortons all morning. It took 3 people to figure out that it was my Live Update that was corrupted!!! So their own product was giving me those stupid popups!!!!

But it's all fixed now so I feel better.

Well, won't be up late tonight - we want to try to be on the road around 6:30 in the morning. It's almost exactly 2 1/2 hrs, every time we make the trip. Of course Jeff drives most of the time and he drives like a little old lady, so speed queen here will probably get there quicker!

Got the camera ready - will probably take as many pics in one day as I do in a whole trip! We're both so excited! Also got our pin lanyards out, Ally's got her autograph book and pressed penny book. We're all set, I think! Supposed to rain here tomorrow, so hopefully we'll be okay down there. If not, oh well! I've got ponchos and we're not so sweet we'll melt, that's for sure!

Debbie - I can't believe your dad is 65! He looks great! Both your parents look so young!

Erin - good luck going back to school, and congrats on that first "paying" job!!!

Tessa - do I "love" my job? Nah, if I loved it then I'd call it a hobby. But I do really enjoy it. I love administrative and managerial positions. I like authority - could be why I love this thread!!! But I also like customer service and helping people. And that's my job all rolled into one. I basically do the same thing I did at my last job for 5 years, but I work from home. I do miss the office environment, but it's only good if you have a good group of people to work with, and I was fortunate enough to have that in my last job, after all, I hired most of them! And I'm a great judge of character! But seriously, I'm lucky enough to do something that I like, and make a decent living, too. And working from home is a blessing.

I'm still here. The girls are away this weekend so I'm cleaning the house and returning clothes at the mall. Tonight we're going out to eat and then tomorrow I'm off to a sleep study to get a sleep apnea mask. Hopefully I'll actually be able to get some sleep. I did the test before, but I have to do it again. My ENT is even considering taking my tonsils out - hooray - only been trying to get them out for 15 years.

We're baaaaaaack! Awesome time but dead tired now. I hate driving at night, and we didn't get out of the parking lot until 6pm, which meant I was driving about half the trip in the dark - it tenses me up really bad.

In a nutshell - Expedition Everest 4 times! Dinosaur 2 times. KRR once. And we went to Conservation Station this time and saw the parade. No shows today though - Ally just didn't want to do it.... But she was a pin tradin fool today!!! We got some great pins and completed a few collections, and made a big dent in some others.....

I just downloaded all my pics so I'll post tomorrow!
