YES!! Daytime was fantastic! Nice and warm, we wore shorts every day (well, I wore capris as me in shorts would cause blindness in those nearby) and then just brought a light coat to wear at night. Best part was that lines weren't terrible, and we were able to get a table at some nice meals when we arrived there instead of booking in advance. It was a short notice trip.![]()
Wow the oreo balls sound yummy
Thanks for the info, makes me feel a little bit better hahhaa
Tammie .. Happy Hump day right back at ya (us brits sure do love that) hahahha and Congrats on another Grandbaby

Kara .. How is Ally's finger?? Less painful i hope

Cammie .. Oh man and so it begins, how are the girls taking the news?? My heart goes out to you

Pam ... Believe me i would take some sunshine if you have it to spare, thankfully it's not cold, is still warm but the sun hides all day long, and it has rained every single day of the holidays, thank goodness we are away next weekend and hopefully find the sunshine. BTW loove the schedule

Tessa .. i cannot believe you had sun today, we had more rain

. I know what you mean about the back to work thing..... I was lucky I didn't have to get a full time job, but it still felt like a big wrench and major life change to be away from home only an hour and a half each day to earn money. But still, needs must and all....
as you say, when things are so low, the only place is up....
. Mum got home safe and sound and we have had sun and 70 degF since she left - just perfect really..
I wish the weeks away, striving for the weekend, and shouldn't. Time goes fast enough! But, the weekends are the best!
(my girls are 16 and 11)
I'm stealing that idea for Christmas. Maybe I'll use the mint flavored oreos too.
- is it safe to say that your party will have a variety of Oreo balls and a sprinkling of other food? LOL! I hear you though - for years all I ever brought was Congo Bars - they're like choco chip cookies but made with lots of brown sugar. They were easy to make and I would interchange different ingredients (marshmellows, choco chips, nuts) based on where we were going and then ice them based on the on the theme. Now that everyone is always on a diet the congo bars have faded to a memory. Now I bring melba chips and hummas!
