Looking for clean & cheap hotel in Columbia area

My family and I will be driving from West Virginia to WDW, and plan on staying the night in the Columbia, SC area. Trying to find a clean and cheap hotel. Will be arriving late and leaving early so not in need of lots of extras.

DO NOT stay at the Days Inn airport on the airport road I believe. The pictures and amenities listed on their site should be illegal! No joke, no exageration. Our jails are better than this place. And very, very creepy. Sorry, I don't know of a good place, just the sorry excuse of a hotel we stayed at.
I can saw that we are impartial to Country Inns now though(beautiful, and reasonable), and from everything I have heard, nothing bad, I would recommend CI anywhere.

You might consider the Masters Inn at exit 113 I-26. Here is a link

It is clean and inexpensive. Are you driving south via I-77? If so, it is the second exit going west on I-26 after the intersection of I-26 and I-77.

There are other motels in Columbia that are good. They are closer to downtown Columbia.
