Every trip we love to eat at BRG sitting outside on the boards. Last trip, however, we were not satisfied as it seems the portions reduced in size considerably. So much so that my husband got a few slice of pizza after dinner down the boardwalk on the way to the ferry. popcorn::

Looking for suggestions on the boardwalk for an alternative.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I believe Kouzzina has a few outdoor tables now. I love both their breakfast and dinner. For lunch, I second the Cabana Bar.

I will check out Kouzzina's menu. I should also have specified that DH, DD(3) and DD(8) will be on the Regular Dining Plan. I don't think Dolphin places are included in that, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks for the suggestions...keep 'em coming!

Correct, Swan and Dolphin restaurants are not on DDP.

What about Beaches and Cream or even Hurricane Hannah's? YC has Captain's Grille and BC has Cape May. Or Yachtsman Steakhouse is a 2 ts meal.

What about ESPN? I think the style of food is like pub/bar food. We have never had bad food or service there. We eat lunch there every trip. Food is always good, big portions as well. Atmosphere is fun too.

I agree, ESPN is often overlooke,d I think for their food quality is pretty good. They do have some outside seating but I think it is for take out (someone correct me if this has been changed). They do have quite a variety on their menu and I think the food quality is better than Big River.

I don't think they take ADRs though and if there is a major sporting event it can be a good wait (and quite loud). We have though actually done "take-out" there as well and then we'd find a place to sit outside and eat there. (just watch out for those "diving" seagulls, those things can be downright food criminals!! :lmao:)

I just added a review of ESPN from when we were there on my dining website. Feel free to check it out-http:www.disneydiningreviews.com

I also agree with ESPN - We had lunch there for the first time in August and it was great. Granted we were there when there was no major sporting events going on (much to DHs dismay) but he still LOVED it. The atmopshere is fantastic for any sports nut (like my DH) - The food was very good and the service was excellent. DH had the ribs and they were ginormous..I had the reuben sandwich and it was fantastic. Kids loved their meals as well.

Thank you all for the great suggestions. We will check in to all of these, and then someone pointed out one stupidly obvious solution...pay oop for an appy @ BRG!
