I am going to Disney with my 13 year old son in May/June and we will bring our drinks, lunch, and some snacks to the parks each day. Is there a cooler backpack with a separate compartment for our phones, chargers, money, things we don't want to be chilled or have the possibility to get wet from an ice pack?

We have one that's like a Camelback with a huge bladder and two tube/straws so you can sip while you walk without removing from your back.
To store bottled drinks we use an old school backpack that has a padded laptop section. We freeze our drinks and put them in the padded section. Not exactly a cooler but since they start off the day frozen it works well for us.

How about two backpacks (spread out the load....esp important in the heat)? One that's the cooler for the food and drink; one that carries everything else.

Looks huge. Are you sure you want to be burdened by something that big in the FL heat? Otherwise I guess it meets your needs.

Personally, I carry as little as possible to the parks. I ask for free cups of water at the CS places when I get thirsty.

Are you staying onsite? If so, just return to the room to eat and rest at some point and forget the backpack.

I bought the cooler backpack below in 2012 for our Disney trip. I LOVED it. We were a party of 7, and this backpack had plenty of space for our waters and snacks - I even brought peanut butter, jelly and bread in it one day. And there are plenty of compartments for other items, too. But at the same time it isn't obnoxiously big. It has excellent mesh padding on the part of the pack against your back - such that your back doesn't become too much of a soaking, sweating mess. I cannot say enough good things about it. BUT here's the catch, the link below is the only place I can still find it - and the only style is camouflage (not that there's anything wrong with that ;-) ). Hope this helps!

OP, I have a Kelty Picnic Pack exactly like this:

If you're interested, let me know and I can send it to you. Don't think I've ever used it and wouldn't mind helping if you think this might work.

Can you tell me more about this bag? Like how much can fit in it? Does it leak? Is it comfortable to wear? Is is just a cooler or is there a place for stuff?

I have the Igloo one posted. I got it at Target. It is nice but there is no room for stuff so we need to carry a second bag. I only want one bag to carry in the parks. And it would be nice to only have one bag when we go hiking.

I have used both the Amazon and gander bags, plus a few others and I really like the Amazon bag because it has the separate pouch to keep items dry. It also is easy to handle getting on and off the rides.
