I thought I could find some sort of plain small notebook and decorate with mickey stickers or soemthing, but I cna't find anything. The reason I want to to that is that we are going to a character breakfast at our hotel before we go to disney, so I want my son to have his book for that. Any ideas on making one?

Well that is a many possible answers question-

first off- are you planning on having it long term or destructable for the scrapbook?? If you are looking for more long term look for a little spiral bound notebook- For destructable Id decide what size ya wanted the autographs to be and then make a paper book stapled a bit bigger (so ya can cut the stapled part off later)

Id check walmarts scrapbook section (if yours has one) they have a really decent spiral book for like 5 bucks-

but be advised by not doing a book bound one the pages may rip out easier and wont prob last as long- if that matters-

I never really thought about doing one that I could take apart. I was actually going to make it into a mini scrapbook by having each character sign one page and putting a picture of my son with the character on the opposite page.

What my DH suggested I do is: buy the mat stack pads we keep seeing at micheals, joanns etc. and using 1 square for each Chactacter and than once I get home scrapping it into my pooh cover scrap book.

The DISshop has autograph books, too.

But it, with or without the pen, here!

I currently use both a disney autograph book for most of my autographs but for character meals I collect them on a spiral bound notebook that I deconstruct for my scrapbook to add with the pictures- This is nice as alot of times I "meet" the characters several times at different meals and so my autograph book doesnt have the same characters over and over- So there is benifit for both ways-

We bought the Disney autograph books for our kids in 2000. Re-used them this past trip because they have so many pages.

My plan is to scan the autographs I want and then use them in my scrapbook.

I like the Disney autograph books. They are the perfect size to fit into the girls fanny packs. One more thing I did not have to carry for the kids and if I was in a differnt place and the kids were with DH then they never missed an autograph.

I'm planning to get Disney autograph books for my DDs. I'm an avid scrapbooker and plan to scan the autographs to add to my scrapbook pages! That way, I can have fun with them, and leave my DDs books intact.

a friend of mine made a really cool autograph book out of diecut tags. she strung them on one of those metal rings (and was able to carry just the tags with her and add them to the ring after she got home. it came out REALLY cute and she was able to decorate the individual tags after she got home to correspond to the character signatures.
