Has anyone actually purchased LL from outside US/Canada - as opposed to just being able to access the app?

Yes, there's a group on Facebook for Brits going to Disney World and people have purchased for the imminent trip.

Post saying turning location services off on i phone or android (certain models) and using mobile data is working but not for many. I tried doesn’t work for me either. Must be a glitch in MDE allowing it to work without a location!

Works on my android.

I’ve tried every which way to purchase from the Uk with an iPhone SE. I’ve tried it all, vpn, airplane mode and gps spoofing but still no luck, I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong? Anyone got an iPhone SE and found a way to do it?

Have you changed your country of residence in the MDE app and turned off location services on the app yet?

I did change my address to USA but I changed I didn’t know you had to turn off location services in the MDE app how do I do this?

Go in to settings on your phone, scroll down and select the Disney App. On the next menu selection ‘Location’ and set this to ‘Never’.

It should work then. Remember to turn location services back on when you arrive in the U.S.

Did you also change your location to the US on your profile - Account settings on the MDE app - its under your date of birth.

Sorry I haven't been following this because it doesn't apply to me, but I have a friend who is asking for advice about booking lightning lanes. She is in the UK.

What are the latest reports? Have people in the UK been able to book lightning lanes in advance? It's some sort of work around still needed?

No work around required any more… works fine and can book 7 days prior to check in (for on-site stays) for the whole length of the trip
