Looking for advice (and possibly trades)

I'm brand new to this pin trading -- thanks to a cast member who explained to my ten-year-old about lanyard pins, we now have the beginnings of a collection, although I'm not sure exactly the best way to try to trade her extras for ones she couldn't find.

We will be going back to WDW the week before Christmas -- will the cast members still have any of the pins that are out now? For example, we have Tigger and Piglet on the gold train, but need Pooh and Eeyore. Any chance we could trade for them at WDW, or should I try to do it over the internet?

In case anyone is interested, the extras we have are:

11261 (dalmation)
11734 (dalmation)
11308 (smiling Mickey)
11264 (Piglet)
11733 (Tigger)
11263 (Hercules)
11711 (Pinocchio)

Looking especially for
10996 (Pooh on train)
12799 (Eeyore on train)
10998 (winking MIckey)

Hi, Marie, and welcome to the DIS Collectors Board.

You can certainly wait until you go back to WDW to look for the other lanyard series pins, but there's no telling what Disney's plans are for the lanyard series (as far as retiring pins or how many more of each they have in stock).

Feel free to check out the link to the FAQ in my signature. It has info on trading online. Most important hint: don't be shy about asking for references (especially since you're new to trading).

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask any of the great people we have on the board. The trades/wants subboard is primarily for trade requests. The main Collectors Board gets much more traffic and is a great place to ask general questions on trading.
