Looking for a very cheap waterproof camera

I want to get a cheap waterproof camera for our cruise. We may do a dolphin encounter, as well as wanting to use it on Castaway Cay. It doesn't need to be top notch, but at least take some decent pictures. I will only use it for water activities. I have two other cameras, one a SLR, so I will get good shots of everything else with those.
Has anyone ever used this one?

Or does anyone have a suggestion for anything decent...but again cheap. I don't want to pay a lot for soemthing that won't be used a lot, but I don't want totally blurry pictures or the camera to die after the 1st use.

We brought fuji ones cant remember how much you get them at Walmart .You cant take pictures Dolphin encounterwe brought the CD with pictures they were not great but its a memory so we brought it we got discount because the service was so bad took forever get pictures before antything else it took forever not much time after to do Atlantis

The camera you mentioned only has 2 reviews, 1 good and 1 bad. If you look at the good review closer, it appears to have been written by a shill.

You can also buy an underwater waterproof case for cameras.

Not Atlantis, but the Blue Lagoon and you can take pictures there. I looked on there website. I saw a fuji one, but it had bad reviews too, and it was over 100.

That one looks OK, but it's a preorder. When will it be available? (I also am not a fan of Kodak either)
As for cases. I have looked in the past for one for my Canon P&S and it was REALLY expensive. I could buy a camera for that amount.

I have an Olympus Stylus Tough and I love it. I think the price is decent, heck I pay that much for a Photopass CD!

It is really fun to have a waterproof camera. You'd be surprised how much you use it! It is great to have along in case it rains at Disney and you don't want to take your dSLR out in the rain!

I bought the Olympus Stylus Tough 5000 for swim meets and other fun things. It takes horrible indoor pictures. The swim ones were just average. I took it back and saved my money.

I think I will stay away from Olympus, because if I remember right from my DD's Olympus, they take a totally different type of memory card.
I see the Kodack one says it wil lbe released on March 18 on the Kodak site. I'll watch Amazon and see if it is available then too. I think that may be the best bet.
But I'm still open to suggestions

I got one of these before our last trip for less than $30 on Amazon- it is the BEST thing ever! You have to be careful to hold the camera in the plastic carefully while taking pics, but I can't believe how cheap and easy it was to convert our camera into a waterproof device! for the first time we have videos and pics from playing in the pool and sand.....I'll be using it at every beach trip from now on!
You can't use a reg. camera at 30 feet below surface,but for most people it is AWESOME!!!!!!!

Actually-based on quiet a bit of experience-the disposable waterproof film cameras take very good underwater pictures. A good water proof ing device for a digital that you can REALLY trust not to leak (been there and done that too) is going to run over 100 dollars. If your only going to use it this one time-the disposables should do you fine.

I have been looking for one as well. There are so many out there, it's hard to pick just one. What I did next was go to flickr and searched discovery cove (would love to go there next year, reason for searching for camera). My fav pics were with a Canon PowerShot SD1100IS. There is a newer one out SD1300IS for around $110 and the waterproof housing is about $170. I know that seems a little expensive, but the underwater pics you get with it will be amazing and you will have it for a very long time! I have an older Canon PowerShot. It takes amazing pics outside, but does not do so well inside. I plan on getting a DSLR for indoor pics (mostly kids' games) and am thinking of upgrading to the Canon SD1300IS and get the housing for waterparks, discovery cove, or anywhere else we go where water is involved. LOL I really wish I would have searched this last year before we hit the waterpark at Six Flags. It would have been nice to have pics from there.

I've done the disposables before. They are pretty much crap. It used to be the only option, but now it's not. I also hate getting film developed. I can enhance pictures on photoshop with digital, so not all will be lost. If I can get something that takes at least as good a a disposable, I can at least get it took slightly better.
I am thinking the kodak still. Nothing else people have suggested had any better reviews. It's cheap, and should do what I want it too. I will NOT spend over 100. I want to get a nice new P&S and I would rather spend the moeny on that in the future. (the one I have is good ,but old and outdated and getting slow)

We have the FUJI Finepix XP10 12MP,5X ZOOM GREAT LITTLE CAMERA it is a little more than the other but works great, We use it at the beach pool, waterparks...it does video as well. The battery doesn't last as long as some of my other cameras ,I take a lot of pics though. Enen the indoor pics are descent, again, not as good as my other bigger cameras, but easily as good as any other tiny point and shoot. I think it is worth the few extra $.

I highly recommend both of these cameras. We got a Playsport for our trip last July. Takes a mazing videos--even underwater--but the still photos aren't as nice. DD16 got the Fuji camera above and it takes fabulous still photos and pretty good video. Both were about $125, I think. I love that they're both small, and both underwater, as my kids are both swimmers. Plus, no worries when you have them out in the rain!

This was 19 years ago and I don't know if they still make them anymore. But we used a disposable waterproof camera from Walgreens or Wal-Mart when we went snorkeling on our honeymoon. The pictures turned out great and I think the camera was around $10 at the time. Of course that was a long time ago.

I was going to wait for the Kodak, but I recently read a trip report of someone using a fuji on their crusie and there pictures were VERY good. She has one model older than the xp10. O also palyed with one at the store the other day and was pretty impressed with it. So I did some more looking again last night. I got the fuji xp 10, with a 4 G card and the assessorie kit (including a float strap) for under $130 on amazon. It was a little more than what I wanted to spend, but I just don't want to wait for the kodak. It isn't released till March 18th. I'm not sure how fast it will be in stores, and I would want to play with it for sure before buying it. And that would make it come down to the wire for our trip. So I decided what the hay and got the fuji.
Now for those that have the fuji...do you mind posting some of you water pictures?

Sorry. I was really planning on getting it. Then this weekend I played wit hte fuji, and I did really like it...and after seeing pictures from a similar camera and seeing the price drop $40, I just decided why wait, since I'm pretty sure this will work for me. I may kick myslef after for not getting the kodak though. I will most likely give it a play if I found one in a local store though.
