Hi!
We have one of the green Baby Trend Jogging Strollers from Toys R Us. We took in to WDW for our son (5 at the time). He loved it, but for me it definitely had its pros and cons compared to a regular stroller.
Pros:
Large comfortable seat - son loves riding in it!
Canvas material is easy to clean and sheds water well.
Big tires roll smoothly over bumpy terrain like the paths at the AK.
Large plastic fender keeps the child's feet out of the stroller wheel.
Cons:
Huge even when folded up! It is too big to go down the center aisle of the bus, and it blocks everyone else's way if you try to sit in front by the door. Only place on the bus there is room for this stroller is in the very back, and you will need to lift it above seat height to get it back there. And it's HEAVY!
Tricky to maneuver. To make the slightest turn, you need to push down on the handle and do a wheelie. Doing this all day for several days will probably make your arms extremely sore and achey. Mine were, and I was even conditioned from taking my son for long walks in that stroller before we went to WDW.
If you remove the front wheel, it is tricky to get back on... if you don't get it back on *just right*, the stroller will veer either left or right, and you will be doing even more wheelies to keep it on course.
Very long from front wheel to handle. This stoller can be hard to maneuver through tight or congested places. Plus, other people don't realize how long it is and keep tripping over the front wheel!
Actually (after all that), I LOVE this stoller at home for long walks down the sidewalk, or even trips to the mall. But all day for a week at WDW is another matter. Unless you are *very* conditioned to steering a jogger, and you have your own car to transport it, I would not recommend it! A lightweight super-umbrella stroller would be much more convenient as a vacation stroller. Good luck making your choice, and I hope you have a wonderful trip!
