Looking for a place to stay

Greetings, I'm looking for a place to stay no more than 7 hours away from the New York Area using DVC points. We are hoping to go the second week of November this year. Has anyone stayed at any of the concierge places or RCI places that Disney has to offer using their point system? we have points to use and need to book something like yesterday. Thanks for any help.

I'm sorry, I don't know the places up there. You could go on TUG (Timeshare Users Group) and investigate. Ask on their US-Eastern board for recommendations. Just realize that most won't know the resorts that are DVC specific so you should likely look through the list and ask about specific resorts. How many points and when do they expire?

We have stayed at The Sagamore in Lake George on DVC points and loved it there.

As a suggestion, you may want to say what area of NY you are coming to. New York State is a good size state. I am assuming you mean NYC? If not, you may want to be more specific. The DVC spots listed are all over the state and there is about 10-12 hours between the NYC area and the western half of the state, depending on where you are.

The Manhattan Club rarely has anything for an exchange, usually just to rent. But, sometimes I have seen something online so it's worth a try. Keep looking!
