Looking for a place to stay in Coco Beach

We are going to be at WDW the week of June 27 - July 3rd. We were thinking of going to Coco Beach for a night of two prior to checking into the AKL. Does anyone know of a nice, reasonably priced hotel on the beach there? We have been going to disney almost every summer since 1999 and I would like for my youngest to see the ocean and the beach for a change. Thanks.

The Resort on Cocoa Beach is supposed to be very nice. It's a condo, though. So might be more room than you need.

Last year my family stayed at the Doubletree in Melbourne/Indialantic which is just 20-30 min or so down from Cocoa it was really nice, right on the beach and all rooms were ocean front . I would highly recomend it.

We did NOT enjoy the Holiday Inn on the beach. Very old and run down and dirty feeling. I still have nightmares about the ginormous bug we found in the room. ( I know it's Florida, but I've stayed in lots of resorts and this was the first creepy bug we ever saw!)

The Hilton looks nice.
