looking for a place that will scan photos to disk

i have alot of family photos that i need to scan and put on a disk, but not sure who offers this service (cheaply) someone told me Walmart does them for $5 a disk, but that doens't seem right. Anyone know or recommend a place

Buy a scanner and do it yourself, probably the cheapest way to do it if you have lots of pics to do...and you can do it at your leisure......

I'm not sure how much they charge, but I know that you can do it at Shopper's Drug mart too.

You can do it at Walmart. They have the self serve scanners there. Not sure of the cost. I just did a music DVD there and it was $15.00. Great for gifts.

Borrow a scanner from a family member or a friend. My parents currently have my scanner to do that very thing.

thanks. i wasn't sure if a standard scanner would give high quality
(reprintable pics) My MIL has one,.
Is there different settings to use or do you use a standard setting for photos?
