I am going today after work to get a different cell plan. I have Sprint right now. I have had them for years. I am looking to be able to go online to facebook and twitter, as well as check my email. I don't text message people. I also only use 300 or so minutes a month on the phone for talk time.

I am looking for a plan like the iphone, but I didn't want the heafty price tag since I own an ipod touch already. Any suggestions?

Verizon has a new phone, Samsung Rogue. It also requires a data plan which is 9.99/month for 25MB of usage.
They have a basic phone plan that is 39.99/month which includes 450 anytime minutes. Calls to other verizon customers are free.

I just got this phone last night! So far I love it. I've gone to facebook, the dis, my banks, etc.

We have the family connect plan so I can't confirm or deny the data plan charges quoted above.

I love the fact that it has a qwerty keyboard as well as a touch screen. (Hey just realized that q w e r t y are all right next to each other on the keyboard. Must be why they call it that. lol)

Get a blackberry. My husband has the Curve and I have the Pearl (which is now a flip phone I think) and we can both easily access Facebook, email, internet, etc. You have to play for the blackberry service, which is about $30/month, but totally worth it to me.

Thanks! I really want the iphone, but cannot justify the extra expense. I am going to look into Verizon and I found I can get my Sprint plan for around 44.99 a month.

This sounds like something I might be interested in. How much time will 25 MB of usage give you? If I wanted to check email and facebook a few times a day, maybe google something occasionally, would I stay within those limits?
